  1. we fell out of "romantic" love, i still very much love her as a person, as she gave me 3 awesome kids
  2. I moved out and into a friends house for a couple/few weeks, then found an apartment and lived there for a couple months, then we decided to co-habitate to kind of help each other out financially, we led our own lives, sometimes we ate as all together but not often and we made sure to let the kids know that it was nothing more than that and that we were not getting back together, we both dated. She eventually met someone and moved out, we were renting so i stayed on in the house, with the kids, it worked out perfectly for me. Granted my case is probably as close to perfect as you can get, but it's all about being honest and open....it's gonna really suck for a couple months, then slowly things will start to look better and you'll look back and be amazed at how far you've come in a very short time. Also in my case, beer helped in the short-term, as an escape, but I don't recommend going down that slippery slope
  3. my kids were 16, 15 and 9 when my ex and i split, very amicably, but very much out of love. We made it a point to put the kids first and we stuck to it. Granted we didn't have a pot to piss in, so there really was nothing of value to negotiate, but even if there was, i probably would have acquiesced and let her have anything of substance....it's just stuff and money, you can always get more, eventually. We couldn't have had a better experience of a divorce, no lawyers no fighting, downloaded some forms from the internet, found a notary, we both signed, 30 days later we got a letter of congratulations from the Commonwealth of Virginia. All throughout and even still, the kids came first. They saw the strain in our marriage, we wanted to put all of that behind us. I think they were the winners in it all because we are all happier on the other side. Best of luck and if you need a shoulder or an ear, reach out.
  4. I thought there was too much soap opera type things going on...the sideways look Gus gave the Doctor, the way they had Kai interact...too much blatant visual cues, but i get it, it's a short segment and they have to hammer it home in quick fashion, i just expect way more from this show. I suppose that is a compliment and if that is my only complaint then i think they are doing their jobs very well. I am intrigued at what Kim has up her sleeve. Huell absolutely cracked me up last night
  5. Isn't Hector in a private hospital(not even sure he's in a hospital), or is it that they brought in private doctors to take care of him
  6. I literally gasped out loud when the bat stopped on the one punk's face in the pinata scene. These past 2 episodes have been great. I love the speculation here that Saul is talking to Howard or Kim in that opening scene in episode 5. That thought NEVER crossed my mind.
  7. they are good boys and were just getting their lives turned around
  8. Here is a bit of Crazy Train from last night
  9. I didn't realize it was an early Sabbath song, I always thought it was solo Ozzy. They actually played a recorded version of it done by a female singer as we exited. Zakk Wylde was definitely a monster up there, and in the audience for a 20 minute solo.
  10. Went with my middle son and wasn't really excited about going. Not really a big fan of the music. Sure he's iconic but it's just not my taste. What an incredibly enjoyable show it turned out to be. Ozzy was energetic, his voice sounded pretty darned good. His band was really top notch (Rick Wakeman's kid on keyboards. Played for 90 minutes and aside from the "Changes" song he played everything I knew. I'm really glad I went and I'm upset I went in with such a prejudiced attitude. Also worth noting, hit Donkeys Place in Camden for what might be the best cheese steak in the area that made cheese steaks famous.
  11. Ed Norton, Major Roger Healy, George Costanza...3 of the greatest "sidekicks" in television history imho.
  12. Oh heck yeah. Loved Fairport Convention. That being said, 40 years later he was so good to see him. He's an incredible guitar player and he has a very good stage presence.
  13. NCAA is mad they couldn't get a piece of the Ohio State mess Had to go check Jay Bilas' twitter feed to see if he chimed in, he did, I love when he chimes in against the NCAA and their nonsense https://twitter.com/JayBilas/status/1038137697909518338
  14. I'm traveling around town trying to find tiger. Apparently he doesn't hang out in breweries. That prick
  15. Pretty much Music royalty (literally in England). My weekly Free at Noon show. 500 people tops and as many shows as I've seen in my life, his 50 minute show probably ranks in my top 5. His voice, his songwriting and most surprisingly his acoustic guitar playing... holy crap. He has a new album coming out next Friday and if you are a fan of the singer/songwriter genre, it HAS to be added to your library. I was expecting a lot today, he far surpassed my expectations
  16. Funny as hell
  17. I don;t want my burgers smashed, it's a perception thing to me that they are going to be dried out....i have had them and do enjoy them, but i'd pass by a smashburger 95% of the time to get to a five guys or even a hardees for that matter....can't comment on in-n-out as i have never had one
  18. F*** it!!!!
  19. Had her personality not emerged then you would be 100% correct. Once I heard how vapid she seemed, i quickly moved on (in my own mind)
  20. Hot only carries you so far in life...she likes to party and drink, seemingly alot. She likes choking, she has age issues, yet she wants a mature relationship....yeah, sorry, she's gonna be one of those 40+ somethings that has never been married, still hanging out at clubs and trying hard to maintain her younger days.....I'm pretty desperate and knowing what i saw about her...i'd even pass
  21. As far as I am concerned the Williams sisters can dress however they want, they have been so dominant for so many years. If they were all show and not backing it up, that would be one thing, but they walk the walk, and talk the talk. As much as Tiger Woods transformed the sport of Golf, the Williams sisters took that to several layers higher in the sport of tennis.
  22. I assume you are referring to the tutu? She did it in response to the French open officials telling her she couldn't wear her leopard print body suit, which was designed to aid in blood circulation. They told her she needed to respect the game, aka act more lady-like.
