  1. Nice win last night. Granted it was an injury depleted Northeastern team. But it was nice to see the second team come in and play so well(ie, marek, buddy b and carey). Brisette seems to be getting into stride, Hughes is just a nice solid player. Battle couldn't throw it in the ocean. Tough stretch of games coming up, hopefully they can continue the momentum of the last few games.
  2. they are trying to teach old dogs new tricks Love Jimmy's Famous Seafood responding
  3. thing that pisses me off most is this isn't the first game where we stunk up the place in the first half and came out the second half a different team. Why not make in game adjustments instead of doing it at halftime. With all the coaching personnel it shouldn't be difficult to be that dynamic while the game is going on. And it's almost laughable that 95%+(?) of our first down plays are hand off to RB...teams know that and don't have to do too much to game plan. it's frustrating as hell
  4. Could Allen have run for the first down? Clay should NOT have been that deep in the endzone that far into the play, he should have been running closer to Allen to help him out. Pass was a bit of a duck, but should have been caught..... .....UGH!!!!!!
  5. I've always been a fan of Aubrey Plaza
  6. this really gave me the shivers watching it....not sure how much is crowd singing or recorded, but holy crap.

  8. it wasn't even jock itch that was butchering the names, he was just completely off the rails on his color commentary. I thought it was Ravetch, who i do like, that kept doing the 'dolejaz' and 'See-Dee-Bee' heavy emphasis on each syllable. It was brutal all the way around
  9. Those refs were brutal, so was Dan jock itch or whatever his name was doing color
  10. Your answer, young Padawan, is contained within your question
  11. not a bad beard to have, no matter what your orientation might be :-)
  12. so much for getting any work done today, those NJSue and TracyLee threads are epic!!!!!

  14. At the same time an absolutely wonderful and heartbreaking story. Aaron Maybin making a difference to those kids and how do we allow kids to not have heat in their schools, and so nice to see the outpouring of support from the community(not the government) to make the situation better. Kudos to you Aaron Maybin!
  15. Thanks for the endorsement. I'm also a Genesis afficianado and never got to see them with Gabriel or Hackett. Musical box plays Philly yearly and was never really inspired to see them. This sways my thinking
  16. Just watched it last night/this morning. What an incredible 'movie'. I always thought Tim Blake Nelson was one of the more underappreciated Coen Brothers actors, he was incredible. I thought each little vignette was mesmorizing and holy crap, the cinematography was mind blowing. Still trying to make sense of the last part, thought I had it figured out but then i didn't. The performances by the entire cast was outstanding. I can't stop with the superlatives.
  17. I have been kicking myself for not going to the Outlaw Road Show this year with Willie Nelson and Van Morrison. I was just kind of festivaled out.....completely went against one of my mantras, "don't miss out on things you want to do, there's always time to catch up on rest and make more money"
  18. Love John K, I know the appeal of having John Mayer fill in on guitar seems better on paper, but always wish they brought him in on Dead & Co. I just saw that John K, Oteil and Melvin Seals are going to do a holiday jam. And Philly 89, might be my single favorite Dead moment with Blow Away. Brent was absolutely on fire that day
  19. Saw Futhur at the Mann in Philly....was pissed because the city shut down shakedown, kind of ruined the vibe JT was one of my first shows, Manley Field House at Syracuse University, still ranks as one of my all time faves Joe Jackson played SUNY Fredonia when I was there, he was kind of a prick on stage, but no questioning his amazing talent Wish I'd seen the Dead earlier, but '88 wasn't the worst time to get on the bus :-)
  20. I was going to reply "anything at Red Rocks" but that wouldn't be true, but Red Rocks is definitely a bucket list venue for me
