I am a big McD fan. He was agressive and out team responded to that. i just winder how many fans on this board would be had we lost by less than one FG after leaving 3 points on the field and then missing the 4th down conversion at midfield. Winning cures all.

After the Bills and Chiefs its wide open. Anything can happen and the Bills still have a tough schedule ahead. All of their division games will be tough, and many will be in bad weather. The Bills are the class of the East, but no AFCE teams will roll over for us. The Jets might actually be better than NE and Miami. The once emerging Dolphins might end up on the bottom. In the West San Diego is the next best after KC. The other two teams are meh. Ravens, Titans, Bengals, Colts, Browns is a grab bag right now.

They have had a few good drafts in a row, they have some talent, and they are playing good football right now.

McKenzie had a terrible first half. The missed pitch out and fumble got into his head. It’s over, move on. I think Shakir moves ahead of him due to him earning it with better play. McKenzie goes back to gadget guy.

It was a big time play and Taron has made big plays before. He is usually underrated.

The AFL Bills were started by Wilson and their first season was 1960. The original AFL logo and Marketing also featured Bill Cody. The logo and poster below is from the AAFC Bills. Proof of the name Bills and the Cody logo from AAFC. Which carried on to early AFL days. And below, 1962 AFL Bills Program and Cody again included. I think he disappeared by the mid 1960’s.

I actually do know a few that did move back to Buffalo for weather. They simply hate heat and hot weather Buffalo summers are amazingly nice and comfortable.

Is your goal to make this comment in every thread? He was introduced to the NFL in this game. Every cornerback has a few bad games in their career, even Pro Bowlers. If this was one of his then he will be just fine. Listen to his post-game interview and learn about the player. This kid will work very hard, and he has the potential to be a shutdown corner.

A January game in KC will not be warm. Believe it or not, Buffalo's average temperatures in January are only slightly lower than KC's. Aren't you sick of losing playoff games at Arrowhead? We need the game to be played at home.

While I agree that Edmunds and Poyer are very good players and key pieces of the defense, yesterday was not the game that proves that. They we not missed and resting them was the smart thing to do. Pittsburgh scored 3 points. Zero points in the second half and they played against all backups for the last quarter. It was hard to notice we were missing any starters, let alone 5 on defense.

Shakir looks versatile and can rotate in and sub for any of the three (McKenzie, Davis, Diggs). Whether Shakir "starts" is not important. He will play and he will get targets. I like the possibility that we can move him around. He will make plays. Not sure we are going to see much of Crowder with his injury. Kumerow will go back to ST mostly.

I am old school in that I love a throwback style MLB but that is not how the Pass oriented NFL works today, especially the Bills defense for that matter. Is Edmunds really a MLB if we play a 2 LB scheme? Does he need to be proto-type 6'5" and 250 to fit what the Bills do? I like the size but does he need it to do what the Bills do? The fact that Edmunds is that mobile and can cover makes him a freaky guy but is he better in our defensive system than Milano? If Bernard is a tweener than so is Milano. Bernad is 6'1", 225, he is a Milano clone in that regard. Milano is 6'0", 223. Dodson is 6'0", 237. If Bernard replaces Edmunds we have two "tweeners" at LB, so we better have some beef at DT to keep these guys clean. LBs, safeties, and corners all have to be quick and all have to tackle to work in our system. Final Comment: I want Edmunds to stay if Beane can figure it out. I think Dodson and Bernard are step down from him, despite how well they played against an ailing Pittsburgh offense.

Dodson is a beast on ST and he now looks to be a very competent back up LB for us. Any talk of him replacing Edmunds is a reach. Which is why Bernard was drafted in R3.

I get that the QB is critical, and Brady gets more protection than anybody, but what are the rules? Can't hit low, can't hit high. Can't land on them with weight. Can't swing them around from the waist.
