  1. They do. Haven't you learned that the NFL has upsets EVERY week?
  2. No we are not. These kinds of comments really make me mad.
  3. Seems reactionary to move out on this so fast. Lets see how Tre and how Micah look when they return first. Let's be happy that we have a pile of good looking young DBs. If I was Tre and the Bills said, "we are moving you to safety right now", I would be not too happy. Lets give Tre a shot to recover and return to form in the position he excels at. Besides, Tre may never project as a safety in this defense and he has a big shutdown corner contract. Elam and Benford are playing very good football but they still have a lot to learn. They have never faced Mahommes, Brady, Herbert, Burrow, etc. , so lets not anoint them based on a few games. The NFL has a way of catching up. Lets also recognize that the DL pass rush is helping a lot. As for Hamlin and Jaquan Johnson, why don't we let the coaches decide if they are the weakest links? I have not seen a major mistake by Hamlin yet, but I am not an expert either. Thankfully, McDermott and Frazier are experts.
  4. We need him in the line up on game day.
  5. He glanced that way and 28 was still behind the LOS, he quickly look that way again and saw Lawson breaking free (Lawson was held but contained Lamar in the pocket at least), plus the Bills linebacker was there near 28. It looks easy on Youtube and you can imagine it is much harder on field level. Lamar got the ball out late because of pressure. Poyer read Lamar and made the play. Like Allen missing McKenzie in Miami, no one makes every play.
  6. You don't know anything about how Cook prepares, how he practices, his grasp the offense, or if he can help pass protect. He needs to stop dropping the ball the first time he touches it. He looks like a guy that is not prepared when he is out there. He has to earn the right to play.
  7. wrong on so many levels. He didn't see them because of the pressure. Rousseau is a big guy.
  8. I thought I read somewhere that Benford could be targeted for a safety spot at some point, but I don't which safety spot. Seem like DBs in this defense do not always fit the traditional definition, especially the nickel, SS, and FS positions. From what I can tell, Hamlin is doing well in Hyde's spot.
  9. Not really. He is what he is at his age. He is a veteran stop gap player that fits until they get serious about drafting a guard.
  10. Don't forget Taron Johnson, a 4th rounder. He could be the best NCB in the league. His coverage skills AND his tackling ability against the run allow us to stay with 5 DBs even against a heavy offense formation.
  11. You are taking a lot of shots for this. Please describe the flaws and what areas of our game lacks consistency? Then look are the team’s total offensive and defensive rankings. Maybe you should do the later first?
  12. He started the Bengals too.
  13. Great to see the progress. Impressive.
  14. Named after Paul Brown. Owner, GM, and Head Coach Or, a Little Brownie Elf type creature.
  15. Agree not to underestimate any team on any game. Remember Jax last year.
  16. I said Knox had to adjust. I did not say he adjusted. The tip threw him off. It was a great play by the defender to pick up the ball in mid air and make the catch. Ravens players made two nice plays and got the pick. Most turnovers have some element of luck.
  17. The first INT was tipped. Knox had to adjust and missed the catch and then the DB intercepted. You can blame Knox but I wouldn't. The Ravens made two great plays. Lamar was ruled short of the first down, the replay could not dispute the call on the field -it was close. Plays like this happen every game. Knox and Davis are banged up. Knox made a few big plays. Settle and Jones have been excellent and really help to keep blockers off of Milano and Edmund (like Star was supposed to do). Jones has been a steady stud that shows up every game. We are not going to make every play, every time. Especially short yardage defense against Lamar. The run play calling was NOT terrible. The run blocking was indeed terrible and the runners were getting hit two yards deep in the backfield. Like last year, we have mediocre interior OL that gets no push. Other teams actually have some good players and we are not going to win every game 41-7. Our TD on the opening drive streak ended. It could not last forever. Cook is a mystery. He better work harder than he does. Edmund was excellent again. Punch him in the face at your own risk. Sounds like you did not really enjoy being at the game and watching a come from behind win, in adverse conditions, on the road. It is all about the W.
  18. When we play Miami in December we will provide heaters on their sideline because we will use them too. We will not cheat during the game. We will beat the hell out of them on the field. We should turn the furnace off in their locker room to start the third quarter, let the room get cold. In addition, turn off the hot water heater to their showers too. None of this affects the game.
  19. I hope this is sarcasm ^ I don't like Moss as a runner but he can at least block someone on a pass play and pick up blitzes. Cook is clearly not trusted.
  20. Cook better start learning his RB position first and take advantage of opportunities. There is a reason the coaches are not playing him. With McDermott you have to earn it in practice.
  21. I don't like seeing vets out for extended times although I was not happy with Crowder yesterday, way too many drops. Maybe he could have been a solid vet as the seasons goes on. Definitely a big drop from Cole Beasley as a slot receiver. He may be missed more as a punt returner.
  22. What don't you get? With McD we have: A highly credible voice at the helm Continuous improvement A winning record A great culture Players that are talented, good people, and want to be in Buffalo A legit shot at a SB
  23. Because Moss can block in pass protection.
  24. Pittsburgh looks like a mess after the Jets loss. That’s why it will be close for awhile but Buffalo will win this time.
  25. Opposing coaches would disagree. Play the Bills, you worry about Josh Allen.
