  1. We’re kind of splitting hair’s here. Bottom line…it was a bad call with bad execution
  2. They were up 3-0 at that point but that could’ve been huge
  3. It was a stupid call - plain and simple. They probably should’ve just tried to sneak it with Allen but if they didn’t have confidence based on the way the OL was playing I would understand. It didn’t look like he had much of a much of a chance. DB made a good play. It was a bad play call
  4. My thoughts are with you, man. I’m sure there are a lot of people who have inspired our love for the Bills/NFL that have passed away. I’d put both of my grandfathers on that category as well 👍🏻
  5. That’s part of the $2.5 billion downtown stadium cost
  6. Interesting…this is the same company who makes Josh’s Jacks cereal
  7. This is a crazy story…. but I always remember Bannan as being a player who seemed to flash a little in limited time when he was on the Bills. Next thing I knew he was playing great for the Ravens and starting I believe. Justin Zimmer kind of reminds me of him…on the field that is.
  8. LOL the whole ***** throwing was so ridiculous that it was funny at the time but the fact that so it’s sticking as a stereotype of Bills fans is embarrassing
  9. You can agree that overall the job Beane has done has been solid AND acknowledge thee very terrible signing of Star Louteleili
  10. Yeah two podcasts a week…and my guess is that unless he brings in guests, Joe is doing the podcast solo
  11. In the cases of Marcel and Fairburn I think there some truth to this, but for both it seemed to more about leaving for better market/destination. Marcel likely wanted to work in South Florida over Buffalo and it sounds like Fairburn wanted to move back to the area he grew up and cover his hometown team Bruce Nolan is criminally underrated. He’s so much better than anyone on Buffalo Rumblings. Hope he gets a bigger platform That’s his hometown. I’m sure he’d love it, but he’s too old.
  12. I’m thinking he’ll get the majority of snaps. He’s been their best pass rusher and they aren’t going to hold him back just because he’s a rookie
  13. Someone compared his situation to EJ Manuel with the Bills and Id have to agree. There are lots of questionable signs, which in isolation aren’t terrible, but in tandem shows what appears to be a lack of confidence in Tua as QB
  14. Especially coming from Wilkins who hasn’t exactly been a slam dunk himself IMO I think Miami sees that his ceiling along the same lines as I do…that of a Kirk Cousins or Andy Dalton. I think he’ll be a good quarterback if the rest of your team is good. I don’t think he’s a franchise QB. DeShaun Watson is, which is why Miami is likely looking. I’m guessing they tried to get a trade with contingencies, which Houston balked at. Either way, it’s not sending the best message about your QB
  15. This is likely what happened. Cameron Wolfe covered the beat before Marcel and left for the NFL Network. Marcel probably wanted that job to live near South Beach and with his familiarity/experience with AFCE the move made sense for ESPN. I believe his contract was going to expire in 2022, so I’m guessing he got a new deal with the move as well as a better salary.
  16. They live in Buffalo to cover all practices, local press conferences, and home games etc. Marcel lived in downtown Buffalo
  17. Maybe if you leave early. The traffic near and around the stadium is ridiculous
  18. Perhaps there’s a recency bias with the fan base and Tyrod. Rather than remembering him as the scrambling QB throwing bombs against the Jets in 2016, fans remember his as the boring QB who was the poor fit in Rick Dennison’s offense with a bad supporting cast
  19. I don’t get it. Moving on from Tyrod was the right thing for so many reasons, especially considering the 3rd round draft pick they go in return. Again, who perceived Tyrod as a loser? Most Bills fans have him accurately pegged as a game manager/backup As simple as this 👆
  20. Can someone explain this tweet to me? Is it to suggest that the Bills did Tyrod wrong?
  21. Like most fans I loved Tyrod and hoped he was the answer at QB. But by the end of 2017, it was clear he was more of a game manager when the Bills needed a franchise QB. There seems to be a lot of revisionist history on Twitter about Tyrod and that he doesn’t get the same accolades that other Bills players do - namely Ryan Fitzpatrick. The story is spun to the point that many are saying that Tyrod should get credit for breaking the playoff drought. Sorry but I can’t buy that. Its very clear to me why fans don’t speak of Tyrod as highly as do with Fitz: - The Bills teams with Fitz as QB were overachievers. They were supposed to be bottom feeders but Fitz’s competitiveness made them below average. Thank the Rex, Tyrod’s team was positioned as a contender. They underperformed. - Fitzpatrick is a YOLO QB who is very exciting to watch. Big highs and big low. Tyrod is very conservative as a passer and not as fun. - Fitz has an outgoing humorous personality. Many press conferences deliver awesome sound bytes. Tyrod is quiet and humble, which make it harder for fans to latch onto. - Fitzpatrick has had some success after his stint in Buffalo and routinely gives fans props. Tyrod, not so much. So all in all, it’s not surprise why there seems to be more fondness for Fitz than Tyrod as ex-QB’s. With that being said, I do hope fans give Tyrod a great ovation when he returns to Buffalo. He was never the right QB for the team but he was also placed in some pretty bad situations
  22. No matter where you park, it’s an absolute clusterf@@k trying to get leave. IMO the worst part about the leaving the game. You can expect your commute home to be tripled in length
  23. He dropped off fast. All-Pro in 1988, average in 1989, to below average in 1990. I always wondered what would have happened had Polian brought in legit competition for Norwood after his pedestrian 1989 season. Back then teams seemed to be less proactive with personnel moves so and gave players more time. The fact that Brad Daluiso was the KOS was a pretty big indictment of Norwood’s declining ability.
  24. This is the game when I knew Scott Norwood was finished as a Buffalo Bill. He nearly lost this game on multiple occasions. He declined quickly after 1988 - to the point that having him kick 47 yarder on grass in SB25 was probably less than 50/50. To his credit he did make a big kick in the playoffs, but it was clear that at this point he was a liability for the team
