AJ Klein named AFC Defensive Player of the Week
CapeBreton replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Congrats to Klein! We certainly have a knack for getting the most out of our defensive players, like they turned Jordan Phillips into a beast last year after the Dolphins released him and we grabbed him for nothing. -
Week 13: Bills at 49ers on MNF (in Arizona)
CapeBreton replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Deebo gets pretty much all of his catches behind the line of scrimmage and it's all yards after the catch, they should be able to game plan for that. Aiyuk will be back and I'm more worried about him. -
Daboll doesn't get enough credit for his trick plays.

I liked the fake botched snap that they attempted at the goal line, Allen sold it and then direct snap to the RB. It didn’t work but could have been awesome. -
How about Bass? He's settling in...

So locked in right now, everything seems to be right down the middle lately too. -
Can't figure out Devin Singletary.
CapeBreton replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shouldn’t we differentiate that he only lost 1 of those 4 fumbles? Or does that matter? I guess fumbling it four times shows some ball security issues. I nope Moss never fumbles the ball, then he will just be another fumbler like Singletary and Yeldon. -
Jack Eichel doesn't belong in your Bills collage.

Really hope Ekeler doesn't play, he wants to but hopefully staff keep him out. Chargers running game has been awful since he was injured.
-
At the time, Dolphins fans would have rioted if they picked Herbert over Tua. Everyone seemed to hate on Herbert pre-draft, even Chargers fans hated the pick.

Kroft has actually been really solid this year, I do like Sweeney but don’t think he’s our best TE yet. I had defended Knox last year when he had a lot of drops, lots of them were him trying to get yards after the catch and taking his eyes off the ball. He made some amazing catches too. But this year he’s been downright bad, nothing redeeming to his game at all.

Not saying he is any good but teams do this you know.

Wish the Bills would have brought in Luke Willson for a visit, dude could probably offer some good Seahawks intel.

Revisting 2019 Draft - D.K. Metcalf?
CapeBreton replied to Houston's #1 Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ve heard this and it wouldn’t surprise me if this was the reason he fell in the draft. It was likely because of the picture he released with his teammates where he was absolutely jacked at the gym, like scary big. His combine numbers were also absolutely ridiculous besides the 3-cone, I don’t think he fell in the draft because he had a poor 3-cone time although that has become the narrative. -
What did so many of the draft experts miss about Allen?
CapeBreton replied to Batman1876's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe it was Daniel Jeremiah who said it. Mayock was also infatuated with Allen, this was before he was Oakland's GM. -

Best line ever from his pro day video: ”When you see him live, it is like scouting narcotics.” It’s not hard to see that at the combine and pro day that he has some ridiculous talent. Anyone that really hated on him was just looking at the numbers which were not great in college. Props to the Bills for swinging for the fences and nailing the pick. -
They hired Ian Hartitz this summer and he absolutely loves Josh Allen, so maybe he's putting in a good word. He's a good follow on Twitter for fantasy football info. We all know their grading system is completely bogus though, it makes absolutely zero sense.

I like to think this team knows what they are doing. If they felt Bass was the best choice, I'm sure he will be solid. He nailed every extra point this past weekend, even Butker missed one last night.
-
Not surprised that he is seeing some regression in his passing stats. Last year, his receivers were always WIDE OPEN and he made a lot of easy throws, absolutely no defenders in sight because defenses were selling out to stop the run. Not sure why Kyler Murray was mentioned, he looks like a solid QB all around.

Where to find footage from during the power outage?
CapeBreton replied to NickelCity's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here is some All-22 film showing the McKenzie catch and Diggs TD.. quite blurry. No Knox catch and fumble though. -
Chiefs @ Chargers - Romo is always right!
CapeBreton replied to Houston's #1 Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How does an NFL coach not go for it there on 4th and 1? Take a chance man! Completely idiotic. Pretty obvious that KC was going to march down the field and all they needed was a field goal too, not to mention the Chargers defense looked absolutely gassed in OT. Gives me confidence that we will crush the Chargers in week 12. -
TNF: Texans at Chiefs (-9) 8:20 NBC

The over/under for CEH was 72.5 scrimmage yards, I made some easy money betting the over there. -
Jets seem to be hurting to start the year. I think Mims is going to be a solid player so this is good news for the Bills.

Great to see Sweeney back, has he done any work at all though? I didn’t think he was even running yet.
