Tua throws 5 picks on first day of Dolphins mini camp
CapeBreton replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Once again reminded how lucky the Bills are that Miami fans insisted on drafting Tua, they would have lost it if Herbert was the pick. And yes, I do believe Miami made the pick to make the fans happy. -
Dan Campbell wants a live Lion at Detroit pratices.

This guy does not seem stable whatsoever. McDermott on the other hand, now there’s a coach you could set your watch to. -

I wasn’t high on Etienne so not too devastated about that. I’m surprised Teven Jenkins hasn’t gone yet. -
2021 NFL Draft Round 1 talk - Official thread

Maybe the Bills were trying to trade ahead of the Steelers to get Najee? That makes more sense than the rumours of them trying to trade up for Etienne. -
2021 NFL Draft Round 1 talk - Official thread

I did not want Kadarius Toney so I’m pretty happy with that, someone good is going to fall our way. -
McShay- Bills trying to move up above 23 for Etienne
CapeBreton replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There were guys we knew the Bills had been in contact with and were potentially interested in (Allen, Harrison Phillips, Zack Moss to name a few) but there was never any reports of us trading up for a specific player in the days leading up to the draft. That's why I don't buy this. I also saw that Ettienne's over/under draft position was 33.5 on a betting site I use. So maybe he isn't as highly ranked as we think. -
McShay- Bills trying to move up above 23 for Etienne
CapeBreton replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am not a huge fan of Ettienne but won't argue if he's the pick, I just really hope we don't trade up for him. I love me some Najee Harris but he'll be gone. I also like Javonte Williams but he's likely gone between our first and second pick so kind of no mans land for us. I also don't mind taking an RB in the first two rounds of the draft, this is where the majority of good RBs get drafted. Everyone seems to think that you can pick an RB wherever but most of the guys drafted late are pretty terrible. You get the odd Austin Ekeler, James Robinson, Chris Carson late or as a UDFA but those are rare finds. -
Call your shot: Who will the Bills pick in the 1st round?
CapeBreton replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m going with Melifonwu, would be a reach by all the rankings/mocks but I’ve got a feeling he’s the guy. -
Best player for immediate upgrade to our starting lineup.
CapeBreton replied to gjv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’d like to take Najee Harris but not Ettienne. Harris just looks so much better, he’s going to be a beast. -
Jayson Oweh DE PSU my first round TGT.
CapeBreton replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel like the Bills put less emphasis on combine/pro day results and more emphasis on the tape. Oweh is an absolute freak but I’d be shocked if he’s our guy in round 1. I have seen him mocked higher than our pick so maybe he won’t even be there, I think that would be good news if he’s already gone, let our guys fall to us. -
David Njoku, TE Browns, on the trading block...
CapeBreton replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why would we ever trade for Njoku? This guy has stone hands, cannot catch the damn ball. Definitely not known for his blocking prowess either. -
Who’s the ONE guy you want the Bills to draft no matter what!!?
CapeBreton replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Ifeatu Melifonwu, would be awesome to grab him in the second but I can't see him being there. If they took him at 30 I'd be happy too. -
Who is the one player you DON’T want the Bills to draft @30
CapeBreton replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kadarius Toney is the only guy I'd be upset with. Seems like more of a gadget type player and his college stats were fairly average. But I trust this scouting staff to make the right decision, they've been great lately so no need to question the pick once it's made. -
I'd be OK with Kadarius Toney in the second round, no way is he worth a first round pick. He seems like more of a flashy gadget player to me, you can wait on those guys.

How can you not like this assuming it's dirt cheap? If Allen ever got hurt with Barkley at backup, we were totally screwed. Trubisky isn't great but he can get by.

Shaq Barrett should have won MVP not Brady
CapeBreton replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Giving it to the QB is just the easy thing to do, and it's Tom Brady so what do you expect? -
RD 2, Pick 54: DE AJ Epenesa, University of Iowa
CapeBreton replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he had the highest body fat percentage of any edge at the combine so he needed to lose some weight. It’s a shame he lost too much weight, I expect he’ll be at the proper weight next season so that should help his progression. -
Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston
CapeBreton replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just thinking about how big an advantage for us (and lucky we are) to just draft Josh Allen in the first round, only had to give up two second rounders to get him. It will be great for whoever acquires Watson but they are going to have to give up an absolute boatload of assets too. *end Captain Obvious post* -
Who do I blame? CLEVELAND!!
CapeBreton replied to Houston's #1 Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People act like we have to beat the Chiefs to prove we are for real. I say screw that, you take whatever luck you can get to win the Super Bowl, we should have been playing Cleveland in the AFC Championship but they blew it. It's OK to get lucky to win, how about the Patriots in 2019? They faced the Rams in a joke of a Super Bowl because the refs blew a call that would have sent the Saints to the final which would have been a much tougher game for them. -
How does Josh work on his nerves...?
CapeBreton replied to Adamb412's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe you should stick to tennis. Choked? Go away with that. Not sure what he was supposed to do out there, he was constantly being pressured, his receivers were not getting open, and we can't run the ball.- 152 replies
