  1. Yes, that is a good point, it is quite rare. All I can think of is Patriots took Sony Michel round 1 in 2018 and then Damien Harris in round 3 last year, just before we took Dawson Knox hehe. The Rams took Darrell Henderson in round 3 last year and I could see them going RB early again this year. They’ve been heavily scouting RBs. Gotta just trust the Bills’ RB scouting after stealing Singletary last year, I have faith we’ll get an upgrade at RB2 and Yeldon will be riding the pine again.
  2. I feel like a lot of the O-line guys they are interviewing are available later in the draft - Robert Hunt, Cameron Clark, John Simpson, Prince Tega Wanogho. I could be wrong but I don’t think I’ve seen any of them mocked in round 2. Also, don’t expect any Tight Ends picked, it’s an awful draft for them and we doubled down last year on Knox/Sweeney. Bills have barely had any interviews for TE. My feeling is we go CB/S with our first pick, someone good could fall into our laps at 54, Kyle Dugger anyone? I’d rather RB myself but just don’t think that happens in RD 2.
  3. Thanks @DCOrange Based on our visits and roster, I think we can rule out any TE's getting picked by us. It's a terrible class and Beane was smart to draft two last year. The WR visits are probably skewed by a lot of 1st round research prior to the Diggs trade but I still think we grab one later on, there will be plenty of WR talent available later in the draft.
  4. I saw an excellent graph on twitter showing every team's visits by each position, can someone teach me how to embed a tweet? lol
  5. I liked the orange pants and brown jersey combo they had, these new ones just look really plain. Not much to work with when your symbol is an orange helmet though.
  6. I like Carlos Hyde as a backup plan if they don't get the RB they want in the draft. But how much will he cost? Latavius Murray got 4 years for 14M last off season to backup Kamara.
  7. I like the idea of having a capable backup RB, look at the Saints last year, Kamara got hurt and Latavius Murray stepped up and they didn't miss a beat. Again, I do think Yeldon is decent but am not convinced that McBean feel that way considering how he was utilized last year.
  8. I like Yeldon but I think Beane knows that we are in trouble if Singletary gets hurt. TJ is more of a third down specialist because he has reliable hands. They need to add another RB.
  9. In round 2 I like CEH or Akers. I believe Swift, Taylor, Dobbins will all be gone by 54. CEH wasn't among the 58 prospects invited to attend the draft virtually so I think there's a good chance he is available at 54. OR wait and draft Lamical Perine in round 5. If that doesn't work out then just sign one of Freeman, Hyde, or Miller. TJ Yeldon will not be our RB2.
  10. He's been quite durable so far, I've never seen him even limp off the field. In fact, I've never seen him come off the field, he plays almost 100% of their snaps which is ridiculous.
  11. There's likely going to be plenty of WR talent available to sign after the draft. This class is loaded.
  12. He’s similar to Tony Pollard last year, both look awesome when they get the ball but they got very few touches at Memphis. I feel like Antonio Gibson is getting more interest this year so we’d probably have to use a 3rd on him which is too much, would prefer to grab him in round 4.
  13. Here is a list of the 58 prospects invited to attend this year's virtual draft, usually an indication that there is significant interest in them: A.J. Epenesa, Iowa DE A.J. Terrell, Clemson CB Andrew Thomas, Georgia OT Antoine Winfield Jr., Minnesota S Austin Jackson, USC OT Brandon Aiyuk, Arizona State WR C.J. Henderson, Florida CB CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma WR Cesar Ruiz, Michigan G Chase Claypool, Notre Dame WR Chase Young, Ohio State EDGE Cole Kmet, Notre Dame TE D'Andre Swift, Georgia RB Denzel Mims, Baylor WR Derrick Brown, Auburn DL Ezra Cleveland, Boise State OT Grant Delpit, LSU S Henry Ruggs III, Alabama WR Isaiah Simmons, Clemson LB J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State RB Jacob Eason, Washington QB Jake Fromm, Georgia QB Jalen Hurts, Oklahoma QB Jalen Reagor, TCU WR Javon Kinlaw, South Carolina DL Jaylon Johnson, Utah CB Jedrick Wills, Alabama OT Jeffrey Okudah, Ohio State CB Jerry Jeudy, Alabama WR Joe Burrow, LSU QB Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin RB Jordan Love, Utah St. QB Josh Jones, Houston OT Josh Uche, Michigan LB Julian Okwara, Notre Dame EDGE Justin Herbert, Oregon QB Justin Jefferson, LSU WR Justin Madubuike, Texas A&M DT K'Lavon Chaisson, LSU EDGE Kenneth Murray, Oklahoma LB Kristian Fulton, LSU CB Laviska Shenault, Colorado WR Lloyd Cushenberry, LSU G Mekhi Becton, Louisville OT Neville Gallimore, Oklahoma DT Noah Igbinoghene, Auburn CB Patrick Queen, LSU LB Prince Tega Wanogho, Auburn OT Ross Blacklock, TCU DT Tee Higgins, Clemson WR Terrell Lewis, Alabama EDGE Thaddeus Moss, LSU TE Tristan Wirfs, Iowa OT Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama QB Xavier McKinney, Alabama S Yetur Gross-Matos, Penn State EDGE Missing - Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Cam Akers, Michael Pittman Jr. Thaddeus Moss is also a surprise invite considering he is most likely a day 3 pick, Jalen Hurts is also listed and I expect him to go a lot higher than projected.
  14. He certainly has a scary injury history but I’d be glad to grab him at 54. He had a pretty solid 40 time at the combine even though he was clearly labouring. Could be a great YAC receiver with his size and physicality.
  15. I believe Rodrigo Blankenship is the number one rated kicker in the draft. Tyler Bass also looked good at Senior Bowl week. I’d rather spend a late draft pick on a punter (Braden Mann) instead of kicker.
  16. I'm thinking that if Beane doesn't get the RB he wants at the draft then they will be signing one of Carlos Hyde, Lamer Miller, or Devonta Freeman shortly after, hopefully to a cheap deal. I don't believe anything about Yeldon being our RB2.
  17. I’d prefer taking Dillon in the third as opposed to one of the top five RBs falling to us in the second - Dobbins, Taylor, Swift, CEH, Akers. I agree that Dillon isn’t getting the hype he deserves. I like the tape, solid lateral movement for a guy his size, combine numbers were fantastic, he looked good catching the ball at the combine, and just his size is impressive. His vertical number of 41” is also insane, that’s usually a good sign of an explosive running back.
  18. The Tennessee Titans team doctor did it last week on behalf of all other NFL teams, the original report was overwhelmingly positive so who knows what is accurate.
  19. I assume it was a sports hernia so I can’t see that causing him to slide. He is getting some first round hype so I think it’s a long shot he is available for us. Would love to get him though, he’s going to be a weapon.
  20. I’m going to throw Denzel Mims out there, buyer beware. His highlights are awesome and he tested great at the combine but he also has a crazy amount of drops, big red flag.
  21. Perine already has a Bills connection too, his Florida RB coach is the brother of the Bills RB coach.
