  1. Because he’s not a significantly better player. He’s played 1 season of off ball LB after playing on the edge at Alabama and because of that he isn’t nearly as instinctive as Campbell. Sanders also had a terrible 20% missed tackle this rate this past season. He may have a higher ceiling than Campbell but the only thing he’s really better at right now is blitzing.
  2. Shooter wasn’t white, nothing to see here
  3. He literally had the best catch % on the team this past year and has a drop rate of 6% the last 2 years.
  4. Nah just keep building the line and try to find another impact WR. The running game was already good enough last year to take advantage of all the light boxes they faced. If you want the the RBs to take more pressure off Josh then just run the ball more and actually use Cook/Hines as check down options.
  5. Yeah he’s definitely more of a trade down target than a candidate for the 27th pick. Only about 5% of mocks since the combine have him going in the first round according to https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/
  6. I wonder what the difference could be between Iceland and the US when it comes to people committing gun violence 🤔
  7. He’s very good but not a three down back and his skillset would be very redundant with Cook and Hines already on the roster. Would flat out be a terrible pick.
  8. I think mass shootings have become the new “trend”, if you will, for evil and mentally unwell people the same way serial killing was back in the 60s through into the 90s. Even if guns aren’t the root cause of these killings, that doesn’t mean gun control (not a gun ban before anyone freaks out) can’t be part of the solution. Some major changes/advancements need to be made in order to curb the shootings just like how major changes to criminology and forensics made serial killing MUCH more difficult.
  9. But it’s not one or the other. It’s really just better to not get hit OR do the hitting.
  10. He’s had more than 2 injuries though. He got concussed against the Patriots in 2019 running for a first down and he injured his shoulder scrambling to the sideline against the Raiders in 2020. Still agree with the rest of your post though.
  11. It’s because fans (I’m guilty of it too) want a loaded WR room, and in a loaded WR room he would be the WR 3/4.
  12. And he’s still playing at a high level
  13. I saw one a few weeks ago with the Bills drafting Rashee Rice at 27 with Bijan and Addison still on the board.
  14. My guy it’s literally just trade the Cardinals what they want (two day 3 picks) for Hopkins. Not gonna involve the bears for no reason.
  15. Yeah I suggest not trading away 2 players instead of a second day 3 pick the Cardinals are (rumored to be) asking for
  16. If Edwards regains his pre-concussion form from 2020 and 2021 it’s gonna be an Edwards vs Bates vs McGovern competition for the 2 starting spots.
  17. If you know any high quality RTs available for trade we’re all ears
  18. Oliver and Gabe for Darnell Mooney and an early day 3 pick. Then use the money it frees up to sign another vet DT like Daquan that will actually show up and do their job every Sunday.
  19. I believe in all of this completely and would not be shocked at all if he made a big leap this offseason and became a quality starter. Doesn’t change the fact that he sucked hot booty cheeks this past season and going into next season without adding a RT that doesn’t suck would be incredibly foolish.
  20. In his 2 full seasons as a starter 2020: pass - 64.4 run - 68.8 2021: pass - 70.7 run - 65.1 His overall grade during those 2 seasons was better than both Bates and McGovern.
  21. Which is all it takes
  22. I think the better question would be which positions should they NOT consider drafting in the first, because there aren’t many.
