Would’ve LOVED for the Bills to have made this move. Makes me wonder if there are any other starting caliber players that Beane could trade our 6th round pick for. Yeah and we heard all last offseason the Dolphins would challenge for the division crown. Then midway through the season it was “the Jets and Dolphins have caught up to the Bills”. They ended up winning the division 4 games clear of second place. The Bills are still a class above the rest of the AFC East until someone proves otherwise.

I agree he’s overpaid, but they just won a playoff game in the first year of rebuild and are still top 5 in cap space even after paying Jones and Barkley.

He’s definitely better off having an NFL team pay for his surgery and having access to their facilities and staff for rehab.

Yeah because Milano signed 2 years ago for a team friendly price even at the time. Milano would get paid $15M per year at minimum if he was an UFA this year. $12M per year for Wagner would be an absolute BARGAIN.

Hard disagree. Probably just needed more time to get comfortable in a new offense, but he wasn’t good at all during those first 4 games of the season. Caught less than half his targets and IIRC had one bounce of his hands for an interception.

With how ridiculous the WR market is getting I’m not a fan of trading for 1 season of a guy before he costs $20m+ per year to keep. I’d MUCH rather spend that 2nd or 3rd round pick (or even a 1st) on a WR and get 4 years of cheap labor.

Either JSN in the draft or I could see OBJ signing a cheap one year deal to try and ball out and then cash in one last time in 2024. I still think OL is the #1 priority over WR but there’s none I’m really in love with.

No. I think he's over-hated by BIlls fans and over-targeted by Josh. Whether it's more Knox, more Cook/Hines, improved play from the slot, or adding a do-it-all WR2 the Bills need to do a much better job attacking the short to intermediate areas of the field. A WR with an extremely limited downfield route tree shouldn't be getting nearly as many targets as he does.
