  1. Man if the chiefs lose and the chargers beat the giants the chiefs are 3.5 back 4 weeks in that is absolutely wild. The chargers could be the noticeably inferior team going forward and still win the division. If the chargers win that chiefs rematch I really don’t think the chiefs can catch up
  2. I’ve gotta watch again but it seemed like the delayed contain-style blitzes were getting to him. He thought he had a lane to escape through and a second level defender would seal it quick. seemed like he was beating the more traditional blitzes pretty easily
  3. Kickers scare the sh*t out of me. you’d have to trade an early pick and make him the highest paid kicker in the league while eating the bass contract and despite all that he could get the yips at literally any moment 😂.
  4. I think some of that could be tua limitations though it’s really tough to say
  5. A team that can’t beat any of the good teams is not a sure thing to beat all of the pretty good teams imo. If they’ve truly got zero margin of error and have to beat all of Indy,Jax,Washington,Denver/lac they’re probably gonna miss. Even the raiders play them pretty tough. If the chiefs fall to a wildcard type team that jags game is hugeeee if they end up in as the 6 or 7 seed they’re gonna get a tough draw in the wildcard round too.
  6. They must still be paying the football gods back for that super rare chiefs choke against them like 3 years ago lol
  7. I mean getting the 1 seed is MASSIVE especially with the somewhat recently expanded playoffs that took the 2 seed bye away. It’s not luck that the patriots/chiefs often had a bye and a fairly easy home divisional game and their players are more rested and healthy for the afc championship. If the chiefs had to see us after a tough game with Baltimore they’d never beat us tbh
  8. The ravens have so much trouble with the chiefs defense it feels like…I think their only win over the chiefs was due to a CEH fumble when the chiefs were running out the clock chiefs are up 5-1 in the Lamar era I’m pretty sure
  9. Yea it’s unfortunate…end of the season all anyone really does is compare stats. People will remember Goff had a great game tonight for like a month or so then move on sadly
  10. I can see the don’t want them too for sure but the haters will come up with excuses to cheapen your teams superbowl win no matter what lol. Give me the easiest path possible. There’s def a small chance they miss…tough to tell yet though. Definitely would require the chargers and broncos both being good to even start talking like that though
  11. Probably would hurt the chiefs more if they lost…there’s a modest chance they might miss the playoffs entirely if the ravens/bills can beat them and broncos/chargers keep it up. AFC north is in a weird state with the burrow injury and I don’t think the ravens are in much trouble at 1-3
  12. Stats are so crazy…I thought Goff had an amazing game but it wouldn’t help him in the mvp race because it was just a 200yd 1 td type game
  13. Cbs probably…they don’t really have a lockdown. Lamar just can’t take advantage cuz he mostly throws to wide open guys
  14. Man crazy it felt like the lions defense had an amazing game and they gave up 30 still technically
  15. NFC west seems impossible to tell haha I don’t think Arizona is great but the three other teams have all looked good at times
  16. It is crazy how not bad that roster is now and it feels like Daboll is running them straight into the ground. Can’t help that Daniel jones is playing well in Indy and saquon has been great in Philly lol I don’t even know if it’s all on Russ the playcalling is so bad a lot of the times. They were running the ball well and still looked completely inept
  17. I think the commentary dudes were just straight up wrong about the Josh scramble against the ravens tbh. That whole rule has an ‘OR when the ball carrier starts simulating touching the ground’ that I legitimately think Terry didn’t even know about and since the rule on the field was short a challenge never would’ve overturned that application of the rule. if it was ruled he got the first on the field maybe it holds up to a ravens challenge because it was such a quirky slide where it’s hard to pinpoint where he started simulating touching the ground. Ironically I think that non challenge decision was one of the big reasons we won that game and is a big positive for mcd and negative for the fans saying he was wrong 😂. TBD coaching would’ve lost us that one especially given we only got that late first half fg off because mcd used defensive timeouts when the ravens were driving which is for some reason considered bizarre now no idea what makes the timeouts bizarre…that is literally done all the time and has won us multiple games tyreek catch I agree with you…your hands can come off it briefly and it can still be ruled you have control but I think he didn’t possess it in time
  18. I don’t even know that Tre is playing that bad overall now that I’m rewatching some of the games again haha. In the moment though I can see why he stands out in a bad way at times. if last night turns into a trend against even mediocre receivers I’d be concerned but waddle is pretty tough to man up. I do think Hairston when he’s up to speed will be an improvement but Tre has been serviceable enough where idk if we need to do anything drastic in the short term
  19. It felt like we were getting cooked doing the opposite of how people usually define the mcd scheme lol waddle is a tough assignment and Tre was manning him up without much help pretty often I think lost in all the ‘dolphins are imploding’ drama is tyreek/tua are still a really tough wr duo it was an interesting game we played a lot of contain and it really did seem to make tua uncomfortable for some reason even though we weren’t technically generating a lot of pressure. Idk if that’s one of tua’s quirks that we key in on lol. He was bailing pockets in very strange directions at times cuz the edge defenders were scaring him which forced him into some really difficult throws that should’ve been routine.
  20. Yea I think the quick pressure was more responsible for that outcome than Bernard was
  21. Johnson has looked like a different player in a bad way too lol. Mostly in pass catching though I think…he seems like he’s running it fine
  22. Teams are playing that soft cover 2 on passing downs with a spy most times it feels like…I think the bills needed a little more play action on the early downs in the second half last night when the dolphins were loading the box a couple times they dialed up deep shots and they weren’t there
  23. I’m so excited for Hoecht and I hope I’m not disappointed haha just feels like such a good fit and we’re halfway there to getting him back.. seems like a younger Lorenzo Alexander Ogunjobi had a few down years and maybe a change of scenery helps but I don’t think it’s a sure thing
  24. It’s so funny now that mayfield is playing well and Darnold has looked good at times. ‘Right josh’ was the only flat out bust in the class lol. Hell even mason rudolph carved out a pretty nice career backup role
  25. I think they were a bit too close to the end zone at that point to really kill off all the clock…if they scored with like 1:20 left I wonder if they woulda gone for two. If we disappeared Bernard on that INT play I think they would’ve been on the 13-14 ish yard line with 3 minutes left and the bills had two timeouts and the 2 minute warning
