Kc is just in f-ed up tiebreaker shape and they’ve only got afc games left mostly either against other contenders or division games where the division record tiebreaker could be huge. If they lose one more the only team it doesn’t really hurt against is Tennessee

I think the Baltimore defense has a lot of the same issues as ours and is arguably worse. They surprisingly weren’t as bad at stopping drives as you’d think given the score but the ravens offense just turned it over so many times that it doesn’t show up in the points allowed Cincy shockingly only had two td drives in that 32 point game lol there were quite a few 5-15 yard fg drives after a turnover i was gonna mention both those tds being in 3rd and long scenarios but we are certainly not known for shutting down 3rd and longs either 😂

I think Bill’s problem is he couldn’t envision a world where he couldn’t be coach and gm. Very likely would’ve been scooped up again otherwise Tomlin will get scooped up very fast if he leaves also imo. With that anonymous report that a veteran hc is lookin for a change of scenery and staring at their first below .500 season in awhile I think that’s probably Tomlin wanting to go to NYG

Not that betting odds ultimately mean anything but if we all finish 13-4 I think we’d be a road favorite over the entire playoff field which would be very interesting lol

Milano is playing a lot better too very recently and Shaq Thompson is available now. It’s tangentially related to Bernard being out but I don’t think it’s all an ‘addition by subtraction’ type thing with him Milano always seems straight up awful after coming back from injury then he goes on an absolute tear months later haha

Houston was the beneficiary of probably the worst trade in the history of sports which definitely helped a bit haha it gets a little bit hard to track because they traded picks for further picks but you can trace Will Anderson and Lassiter back to that and I think maybe Calen bullock too crazy thing is they missed on a chunk of those picks and coulda been even better 😂

Projecting out the draft you probably can’t assume Jefferson will be available at pick 22 either when they decided to trade for Diggs . If they didn’t trade that pick and were intent on using it on a wr there’s a nonzero chance they could’ve ended up with reagor or Tee Higgins instead of Jefferson Funny enough lookin through Jefferson’s draft profile his weaknesses were not great at separation and doesn’t win 50/50 balls 😂

We did see Johnathan Taylor with a meh qb on their side and 0 WRs on our side last year and did a pretty decent job against them to be fair it was post Amari cooper trade but Amari was out

Broncos offense has looked pretty awful to me every time I’ve seen them tbh…I really think they’re dumbing things down for nix. They hardly ever use presnap motion it is straight up bizarre I was just gonna say that’s the only team that really worries me…people get wayyyy too hung up on overall records at arbitrary points in the season when deciding what teams are good. Texans have played the anti-pats/bears schedule where they pretty much only play good teams lol. 9 teams over .500 right now, the ravens, and the titans twice was their schedule I know this board loves them (well not loves haha thinks they’re great) but I’m really not sold on Denver or NE yet personally

Im a little puzzled by this take personally but respect it haha I was pickin up what you were putting down on the rest of the posts though 😂 If this team cuts out some straight up boneheaded turnovers I think they’ve got a chance to be better than last years team…safeties and corners were horrible last year, receivers were just as bad considering cooper didn’t really play that much in the playoffs anyway, honestly think the LBs are better with Shaq Thompson in there, bosa has some juice out of the other DE spot, Hawes definitely gives you some options to pound the run,etc. and even if the team is a little worse, avoiding one of a 2024 kc and 2024 Baltimore level team would easily offset that in my opinion I hate that I’m gonna upset the pats fan here again who seems like a good dude haha but as solid as I think that team is I think their ceiling is pretty low this year and they are far below the standard home team in divisional round quality. Doesn’t mean they can’t win by any means but just pure talent wise that’s about the best it’s gonna get for an opponent in round 2. Same goes for pretty much everyone else in the mix too

It probably won’t be the chiefs if they only win 10 unless that one loss is against Tennessee which seems impossible 😂all their games remaining are afc and losing to the raiders pretty much blows the tiebreaker with lac even if they beat them in the rematch i feel like the worst thing possible for kc was Houston winning the last two but Indy knocking Jax back into the division race and I’ve got a feeling that’s gonna happen

Depends on how healthy they can get quickly imo. if guys like Kincaid are back next week I think they’ve got an ok shot at it but will probably lose 1. If it’s the same kinda banged up team they’ll probably lose 2

The defense limiting points off turnovers is somehow pretty standard for this team. It’s really bizarre considering how meh they’ve been most of the non post-turnover drives up until the last few weeks haha. I think they’ve only given up two or three td drives off turnovers all year and we’ve had a bunch of turnovers 😂. Probably like 3/17 giving up the td

There’s a bunch of teams like that this year it’s honestly pretty crazy haha NE and Chicago were like 17 and 22 in DVOA coming into this week not sure how much they’re gonna move. LAC was below average also ironically their metric is pretty high on Denver
