They were a bit run heavier than people seem to be remembering early and were actually pretty successful moving the ball through the air by comparison. When they had to get one dimensional to stay in the game though things got ugly. even their first drive when down just 12-3 was a run-run-pass three and out. First drive of the game was a run-run-pass three and out as well. Outside of a nice long run on third and medium they weren’t really doing much of anything on the ground and it wasn’t for a lack of trying. The idea that they lost because they were too stupid to run the ball is a bit odd to me.

I think there’s some fans of other teams in here pretending to be bills fans and it’s kinda on full display today. I get that nobody wants to admit their predictions are wrong whether negative or positive but there is some shocking stuff getting posted haha

Pats are honestly givin me commanders energy…I think they’re gonna overachieve one year on the back of an easy schedule then parity is gonna rough them up a bit. Outracing parity is tough if maye lights up Baltimore and they win that game it could def sway me

They got knocked completely off their gameplan when the bills pounded it right down their throat and scored a boatload of points lol the lengths some of y’all go to give the team minimal credit are a bit surprising

This is kinda the goalpost move of the haters tbh…if wins against the chiefs only count if you do better than giving them a Hail Mary final drive opportunity to tie, they probably lose like 2% of their games lol I’m gonna fact check this but I they’ve lost like 4 two score games in the regular season (assuming their starters were playing) in 7.5 years and two of them were against Buffalo 😂 2018 -2020 were 16 game seasons so that’s 125 total games and 2 two score losses against non Buffalo teams. Might need to knock a couple final week of season games off the total when starters weren’t playing If you wanna add in playoffs it doesn’t become any less crazy really…ends up being like 6 in about 146 games

There’s one team that pushes us enough down the stretch fairly often. The other two teams are really bad though yea haha chiefs never have anyone close to the point where you can’t even guess who came in second most years 😂. Caveat though last year the broncos and chargers were solid and the chiefs took care of all their business so no one got close

Chiefs schedule is def front loaded if I’m really gonna entertain this point haha it’s hard to imagine them winning less than 5 of their last 8 and it will probably be more they’d win that jags game 9 times out of 10 which is skewin things a bit this early in the season chiefs were 5th in DVOA and 1st in elo rating if those advanced stats float your boat haha DVOA likes them significantly more than it likes the eagles.

Yea this is my biggest pet peeve on the bills message board. There’s definitely various reasons to be down on the team at any moment so general negativity doesn’t bother me at all. but the people that talk up our opponent all week and then say ‘ehh they weren’t good’ after we win are a little ridiculous imo

It’s such a confirmation bias thing…was saying this in the gameday thread not long ago lol. There’s good results on defensive timeouts often but no one remembers the good ones and there’s no way to know what would’ve happened if they didn’t take the timeout.

The depth seems like it’s much better this year at least. Hairston and bishop looking good is a bigger positive than those guys going down is a negative so I think cautious optimism isn’t unwarranted. Ed sounds like he thinks he’ll be back for the playoffs at least

I think mahomes deserves some credit tbh I understand the defense taking sh*t for giving up big plays to this guy but he’s one of the best to ever do it. bills got after them with Trey smith playing even. people always talk about the playoff defense and I get it but the afc playoffs is three opponents with hall of fame talent level qbs leading stacked offenses lol it’s an absolute meat grinder. We definitely have to be better on defense but these guys are gonna get their yards/points even in a great defensive game

I know people don’t like the injury excuse because at the end of the day you’ve gotta find a way to win the game with the players you have, but the bills offense would be scoring far more points on the bills defense than the chiefs do in the playoffs. There’s always been some joke of a player for them to pick on due to injury it’s kinda ridiculous 13 seconds game was pretty even…we had no tre and they lost mathieu mid game but that was a very different chiefs offense. Last couple with aj klein and kair elam forced in were a joke

Worthy is the most overrated player in the nfl I’ve been saying it every week lol he’s ok but gets talked about like he’s prime Jerry rice. Coleman retained his lead in career receiving yards per game over worthy in this one 😂 if the bills drafted worthy I’m fairly certain he’d be another Curtis Samuel…a lot of his success is Reid wizardry causing busted coverages…we don’t really have that

Man just feels like the von miller situation all over again…guy was a wrecking ball his first game+ back then gets a serious injury.

I def know what you mean but kc absolutely needed this one I don’t really think they were pulling punches. They’ve got a more uphill battle than ever

3/4 of the last 4 defensive timeouts resulted in spectacular plays and 1 was absolutely awful haha

This one probably shouldn’t count but that’s another great result after a defensive timeout lol

It’s somewhat confirmation bias tbh We’ve had great results on the last two defensive timeouts and quite a few of the others but y’all don’t remember the good ones. That was obviously a bad and inexcusable one though no question lol

He does seem to be a little bit better with that to be fair to a kc player which I hate doing 😂. I think he’s within the gray area timing now that other guys on other teams are getting away with also. it was ridiculous last year lol
