  1. If he caught that bomb in the chiefs game all the chatter would’ve gone away
  2. Josh has the lowest interception % in the history of the nfl playoffs of qbs that have 20+ tds…mahomes is #2 pretty crazy when you factor in that 2 of those picks were 100% on the receivers and one was a meaningless late INT against cincy with the game already lost
  3. He actually sticks to the run when it’s working too. Qb is really the only person showing up in the playoffs. He’s had one bad game that I don’t think we would’ve won even if he was great
  4. Bein in the conference without mahomes is probably nice too lol I’d prefer the niners with Brock purdy being the conferences team to beat I shouldn’t even just say mahomes cuz that chiefs defense deserves a ton of credit
  5. People are gonna argue this but there’s really not enough info yet either way…the first surprisingly good season is the easy one but people talk it up like going from bad team to playoff contender is the hard part Packers could give them some issues too
  6. I think the answer is in between both arguments somewhere…the chiefs average a ridiculous 32 ppg in the playoffs since mahomes took over it’s not terribly surprising they score points against defenses that were good in the regular season.. I don’t think the bills are failing much worse than anyone else in their path but they certainly need to improve obviously Its easy to be pessimistic based on the playoff h2h I can’t argue that but I think bills chiefs games are gonna be toss ups for the foreseeable future.. If we had one of Milano/bernard for that game I really think that was a likely win Flacco was a pumpkin the whole time…the dude was turning the ball over like crazy but no one was paying any attention for whatever reason. I think he had 10 turnovers in 5 games nobody is saying Rudolph is the long term answer lol you’re kind of changing the question there. He was just the best qb on that roster by a long shot. To hear people say ‘you’re lucky you didn’t see Pickett’ is absolutely laughable
  7. Rudolph was light years beyond trubisky and Pickett…it’s not even remotely close. Their offense was above average with Rudolph which was the only reason they found themselves in the playoffs. Dropped 34 on the bengals and 30 on the Seahawks who were both fighting for their playoff lives this is the kind of revisionist history about bills wins that I’m talking about lol
  8. Rudolph won that job hands down…Pickett was healthy and benched.
  9. People def downplay the wins I have noticed haha that pats team was pretty good… my favorite recent example of this was people talkin up the Steelers offense all week leading up to our game then after we win mason rudolph got demoted back to ‘just a third stringer’ 😂. Chiefs are the most clutch team I’ve ever seen it’s legitimately crazy. Mvs can’t catch all year then he makes multiple huge catches in back to back playoff games. They always make the big play when it matters regardless of opponent. I don’t think good afc teams should be gutting their franchise losing close games to the chiefs in the playoffs
  10. To be fair it only gets harder though…people talk about it like it’s a linear thing like ‘look how good they were early in the Campbell era it’s only gonna get better from here’ but it really doesn’t work that way. draft picks get worse, schedules get harder, you start having coaches poached, opponents adjust to what you have been running. You just can’t blow an opportunity like this one I can get behind the later fourth down attempt but not taking the fg that would’ve put them up 3 scores was wild imo. If it wasn’t for that late run from the goal line I wouldn’t be as hard as him though but that was just outrageous.
  11. You have to overrule your oc there there’s just absolutely no way that can be allowed to happen…can’t believe that’s not what everyone is focusing on haha that’s like a fundamental misunderstanding of how football works by your hc/oc even if Goff checked into a run that’s just a huge mistake that the coaches can’t allow to happen a lot of these horrible plays throughout history we’ve seen you can at least see where the coach was coming from(ex our fake punt was a 11 on 10 situation) but this particular call had just no redeeming qualities lol
  12. Running on the goal line late in that one and promptly wasting a timeout because of it was the most mindboggingly idiotic football decision I have ever seen in my life and it’s not even particularly close I literally cannot contain myself commenting on posts like this to talk about that play and I really have no investment in the lions 😂. That’s how bad it was Why is no one talking about the run call on the goal line after the two minute warning hahaha I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.. I was absolutely stunned by that.. if he would do that again he should be fired immediately
  13. The Campbell defenders are wild after this one…it’s not like he’s never coached a football game before lol. That decision to run on the goal line under 2 minutes to go down two scores might have been the worst coaching decision I have ever seen in my life and that’s not even an exaggeration obviously you’re not gonna fire him but my goodness I am seething just thinking about it and I barely care about the lions 😂
  14. I kind of empathize with him this year…if kc lost Bolton and chenal and tranquil all at once I don’t think they make it out of the first round. it is getting a bit ‘boy who cried wolf’-like though where people were giving him the injury excuse in years past when things weren’t quite this bad
  15. Who even cares honestly…most of a talking heads job is to just make some hot take to get viewership.. like that claim by Ryan Clark is objectively wrong lol
  16. I’d give mcd an injury pass this year but no other years. One more divisional round exit or worse I’d probably move on if someone is available that they like I don’t see a lot of teams winning in the playoff with lbs that had to cancel vacations to be available because 3 linebackers are injured lol
  17. That and the run late from the goal line forcing them to burn a timeout were absolutely mindboggling awful coaching. Idk man that run call on the goal line was just really really really really awful decision making like I can’t even fathom it lol that was a coaching failure of the highest order. if that was our team I can’t even freakin imagine what we’d be saying right now 😂 I think our perspective is skewed because we’re on the outside looking in 13 seconds we got burned by the screen pass on first down big time which is real bad but I can at least wrap my head around it. running on the goal line down two scores past the two minute warning is absolutely absurd
  18. I think there’s a bit of bias here because it wasn’t our team. the run call from the goal line was absolutely inexplicably horrendous coaching that really wasn’t far off that big Kelce play during 13 seconds…it honestly might have been worse not to mention numerous blunders not taking points with a lead. Lions really choked hard in this one. I’d argue tonight was worse than 13 second but more diluted throughout the course of the game…lions were in complete control and straight up coughed it up with really questionable decision making throughout the night
  19. Now he’s gonna have to fight against parity though…that’s when things get really interesting i think what people are saying about mcd also applies here…going from a bad team to a good team isn’t the hard part. Its going from a good team to a great, consistent team that’s the big struggle there’s a long list of guys that have a big turnaround season then fade into the abyss like mcadoo and Daboll, Frank reich off the top of my head
  20. Johnson had one of the biggest coaching blunders of all time in this game lol. That was like Seahawks passing from the goal line against the pats level stupid. I would seriously reevaluate hiring him after that if I was one of the interested teams. I think he’s a jag without an elite oline personally but he’ll likely have his chance to prove it. I don’t very much like Campbell either though and it’s tough to tell who’s more important to the team right now I have a feeling we’re gonna see Johnson suck also 😂. Its easy to look like an offensive mastermind with an elite oline the oc that comes in to replace Johnson will probably have just as much success wouldn’t be surprised to see the packers take back that division though regardless
  21. I think some of it comes down to how the chiefs beat our defense this year for me. They just picked on aj klein all game long. Gotta think if Milano or Bernard was in his place things are tougher for them. otherwise I’d probably agree more past games against them im less inclined to use the injury excuse. Missing a whole bunch of starting linebackers is a lot bigger deal then missing Micah Hyde or tre white imo. these teams are pretty much even now in talent and it shows…back in 2020 the chiefs were definitely a tier better
  22. I think kc not even worrying about spying Lamar completely broke them lol
  23. I feel like he’s overrated as a scrambler even which was a big eye opener for me today…he’s like that rb that dances around trying to turn every carry into a home run ball which cost them a lot of crucial yards
  24. Yea the josh turnover narrative has always intrigued me because he just doesn’t do it in the playoffs…I think he has one of the lowest interception % rates in playoff history. Two of those 4 picks were 100% on the wide receivers and three of those six turnovers were in the same game that he won where the dolphins had to just send everybody all game romo gets mocked for calling him Mr January but he really isn’t wrong lol Lamar seems like he’s easy to know how to stop you just need the personnel to pull it off which most of the playoff teams have
