I’m genuinely struggling to take gm criticisms seriously anymore tbh lol. Everyone crowned Howie Roseman the greatest gm in the universe extremely recently now everyone has flipped and said he sucks it’s all pretty exhausting 😂. Veach was amazing then everyone said he ran the team into the ground when the chiefs started losing now everyone is saying nevermind he’s amazing again.

They paid him back later on a very soft one to be fair

McDermott would be givin up 50 burgers every week with this group of guys imo. he had a bunch of washed veterans plugging holes to prevent a total catastrophe that beane ripped the bandaid off on finally and got rid of them bills were ranked like 21st in defensive DVOA last season and they dumped a starting safety, two starting-ish linebackers, the starting nickel corner, and anyone else I’m forgetting in the offseason I think everyone is comparing what’s going on now to mcdermotts regular season prime for whatever reason and ignoring the fact that mcds defense slipped down pretty far last year. Can’t even imagine the results he’d get with a third/fourth string nickel corner against the rams and lions like what happened to us this year lol that’s got 60 points allowed potential

Apparently it is! Someone here informed me of that but I can’t remember who 😂. Doesn’t seem like they call it ever though. they put out a memo about it last year and Jack Campbell publicly said I don’t care I’m gonna keep doing it haha

They seem to have less depth than ever this year though and the special teams are legit terrible. Was sayin this in another thread but this genuinely feels like a team a kid built in madden 😂. Gives me big time Phil rivers chargers vibes Their superbowl team they took a big swing on a midseason trade but it was a pretty legitimately assembled team outside of that all the hoopla over the nacua and Garrett injuries because they’re big names but they genuinely seem to have had pretty good injury luck so far

Man this is legit a pretty big deal for the rams…granted they’ve got the cardinals and raiders coming up Fallin from Alaric to David quessenberry is pretty rough

It’s improved a bunch…they were AWFUL last year and jumped up to pretty good (so far at least)

He also punched cook right in the head going for one of those signature punch outs 😂 pretty sure he punched Josh in the back too. I might rewatch and just focus on that lol this punching thing is getting quite out of hand

I’m gonna be honest I kinda like that he’s grabby especially in that game last night where the rams were holdin everybody playoff football they arent flagging dbs for questionable holds which has done nothing but work against our offense up to this point. Would be nice to inflict that on someone else for once lol

Rams defense is stacked I wouldn’t give up on him after one game lol rams held the eagles under 200 yards and 0/12 on third down a week prior and everyone is talking like we were supposed to light them up lol it’s pretty interested

I wonder if they looked at the tape and also concluded mevis was gonna miss that wide left if it wasn’t blocked like some fans have. It’s also possible I’m reading way too into this 😂

I think a lot of the miscommunication stuff is gonna get ironed out as time goes on. The mcd defense was schematically hopeless in the modern nfl so I think I would take this years team and we have dj Moore this year too idk if im more optimistic than most though 😂

Giants ended up with schoen and the fans are pissed about it so they probably have an axe to grind to be fair. These aren’t exactly unbiased individuals lol

It’s still too early to go by that imo…got the bills and niners and the Denver game was really weird where they held them well under 300 total yards and held the eagles well under 200 yards and to 0-12 on third down. that defense is loaded with talent even without garrett…they’ll end up top 10 easily and maybe even top 5. Lots of football left. Just too small of a sample size so far

Rams have the best cb1 and nickel corner in the league imo so it’s pretty hard to judge. Have to rewatch to see who was covering who though. I think Lake was on Kincaid a bunch that was the game where missing Moore was gonna hurt the most and of course he’s out that game 😂. With Moore in one of Kincaid and Shakir probably draw a matchup they can work with Some teams have one elite lockdown corner but the rams have two

Hoecht is definitely in Milano territory where I think you want up give him some snaps to ramp him up from the Achilles injury recovery and they should get big returns from that later on he’s gonna randomly go off out of nowhere down the stretch after being terrible for months probably 😂

I think teams don’t want to take a guy out of coverage in the middle of the field against the bills either…it’s kind of a pick your poison thing and Josh genuinely hadn’t been running much this year even when the running lanes were there

Idk why it doesn’t get more national attention but the rams might have the best corners in the league…passing to WRs was always gonna be a struggle in this one probably even with Moore Lake and mcduffie have been ridiculously good and Jaylen Watson being your ‘worst’ starting cb is kind of ridiculous lol it’s also worth noting that that cb tandem was lifted straight from kc so they probably had a lot of familiarity with the bills

The rams roster feels like a kid assembled it in madden tbh lol starters are absolutely stacked but they’re missing depth in a lot of places and special teams is awful. if they take a few injuries this season is gonna get away from them even with Garrett back genuinely think public perception on them is gonna swing in a hurry unless they get insanely lucky staying healthy

Snead can’t put together a decent special teams group and it is KILLING them though to be fair. It’s a big reason his team is 2-3. He’s got a stacked group of starters on offense/defense but they cut a lot of corners to do it…we’ll see what happens. They’re pretty healthy now but if they lose some additional players things could go sideways in a hurry bills were DEEP into the depth chart at times this game and still came away with a win

Their defense is absolutely stacked…they were only Swiss cheese because josh made them look like Swiss cheese. Probably the best cbs in the league and I don’t think anyone is that close Aaron Donald is beating father time somehow too and Byron young is really good their big issues roster wise are special teams and depth and they seemed to be very healthy in that one (outside of Myles Garrett who was hurt when they traded for him)

The Detroit game was solid imo…gotta factor in they haven’t been held to less than 31 by anyone yet. Back to back early stops to put them in a huge hole is pretty much the best it gets against them
