  1. The offense was this off in October last year too for the record…and I’m sure he’s on the back burner in the mvp convo for now like he was at this time last year
  2. I think it’s just so similar to the Miami year everyone panicked over prematurely or you’d have more people panicking like you are. Not saying you’re wrong or right necessarily it’s still very much a ‘we’ll see’ type thing. vrabel might’ve figured it out after his first failed head coaching experience it’s def possible but that’s a we’ll see also. He wasn’t some kind of victim in Tennessee…the guy took over a perennial 9 win team run by mariota, chose to go with tannehill and eventually ran them straight into the ground. Making all these excuses for him sounds just like the people that make excuses for mcd idk how we can say he’s a 10x better head coach at this point
  3. If it makes you feel any better I think the receivers last year were just as bad if not worse(assuming palmer plays which he may not) and the offense did enough to beat the chiefs twice I’d say. They really were running at will for a lot of that playoff game…just came up short (allegedly 😂) on a couple qb runs haha should def trade for someone but even if they did it right now idk if they’d really be ready to meaningfully contribute in the chiefs game realistically
  4. This feels like sneaky good timing for the bills as far as scheme goes at least…extra rest compared to kc and just got a bunch of guys available on defense that there isn’t a lot of tape on. the Ed injury is a tough break though for sure
  5. I do think Moore will improve some over time I just don’t know if it’ll be fast enough to matter.. he seems physically skilled enough I just don’t think he has any sense of how his qb wants him to adjust his routes in a lot of situations
  6. Yea I was being kinder than I should’ve been probably haha can’t really disagree.
  7. Panthers are not known for not stopping the run though.. I think their run d was a bit overvalued based on schedule but they were solid/above average Jags ran on them week 1 but that was pretty much it. I don’t think anyone would’ve predicted this result. Bills probably could’ve cracked 325 yards rushing if they didn’t shut things down in the 3rd quarter I heard a lot of ‘the bills won’t be able to run and dowdle will run all over them making the game close’ from the haters which are things they got pretty wrong. There’s definitely this phenomenon where teams get labeled as ‘bad’ based on past years and it is automatically assumed these teams are not only bad overall but bad at every facet of football every year just based on name alone 😂
  8. Yea like I get that overall point but the panthers did a ton of things right on this specific play. Once Josh rolls left the safety can play middle of the field knowing Josh is under heavy pressure and has no time to throw it back to the right so you’ve essentially got 5 defenders on 3 receivers and the back of the end zone as an extra deep defender while Josh is running for his life I think Josh thought he’d have a shot at Kincaid but Mike Jackson got to break on kincaid’s route because there was no way Josh was getting that ball to Moore under that much pressure moving to his left
  9. I think they always end up with a terrible qb sometimes through no fault of their own so it always seems like Tomlin is getting the most out of his talent but im not sure that he is tbh this year the defense has been bad on top of the offense who added Rodgers,DK, and Jonnu smith not being very good either. It made sense for Tomlin to get the benefit of the doubt up to this year but I’m not really sure where they go from here if they don’t crack that 9 or 10 win threshold/first round playoff exit
  10. They def got banged up as the game went on (which is nothing new for them this year) but they def haven’t been one of the worst OLs in the league especially recently parity is strong in the nfl and it seems like people just assume teams that have been bad the last few years are just as bad at everything and it’s not always the case haha total season overall they’re average at worst I’d say…last few weeks they’ve been good though up front especially in run blocking
  11. Pats moved it on them easily too they just thankfully turned it over 5 times. Jets and Seahawks lit them up also feels like they’ve got more bad games than good games on the books
  12. I mean a below average qb with a great running back pretty much embarrassed us before the bye so Id call this progress at least 😂
  13. I’m not saying he is good or even decent lol he’s just not completely inept like he’s getting talked about here.. it’s not like their starting qb is very good either. People were talking about dalton being an upgrade all week and have quickly changed their tune With young starting, the panthers maybe score a few more points but I really think cook sets the single game rushing record and we score more too.. we shut everything down in the 3rd quarter. If you don’t even wanna get into our defense because of the dalton asterisk, we straight up embarrassed their dline
  14. Such a crazy assertion that they just don’t care about the regular season game by some people 😂. They’ve got more info to gameplan on and we’ve had some easily exploitable defensive injury in the last few playoff rematches im sure they would’ve annihilated Elam last year or Klein two years ago in the regular season all the same
  15. Hawes was an absolute beast in run blocking not sure what the formation splits were but Hawes def earned his snaps today. I think people are a little bit too hung up on on-paper stats if they’re upset Kincaid lost some snaps to Hawes today especially if Kincaid was still banged up
  16. The wr snaps will be gameplan dependent I’m sure…Coleman probably brings the most in run blocking which fans don’t really care about but it can make a big difference it’s a little bit slimmer pickings with Palmer out also
  17. Bills absolutely dominated a team in the trenches that’s normally sound on both sides... a lot went well independent of qb play. Andy dalton really isn’t horrendous either he just had no chance today. I really don’t think Bryce would’ve done much better tbh
  18. I feel like we all have very short memories haha. I once watched Josh when he was at max wr power getting so frustrated with the kc defense that he threw the ball at Chris jones’ head after a play 😂. He has had BRUTAL short stretches pretty much every year (most qbs do) with all kinds of different personnel/OCs. this isn’t anywhere near new. I don’t think the coaching is sucking the life out of him at all I think he’s just fiercely competitive and absolutely despises losing (which is a good thing). Do you all want to see him smiling at the tail end of games like the pats/falcons? Lol
  19. That’s exactly how it looks to me coupled with the blitz pickups being pretty bad the last few weeks and hurting his confidence. I don’t think he really scrambles with the intent to pick up rushing yards unless he knows he’s got a huge gain he can slide at the end of. Playoffs will be full send from Josh I’m sure
  20. BTJ is really starting to seem like a guy that needs a change of scenery…jags might want to cut and run while he’s still got value. Probably won’t happen but I wouldn’t be surprised
  21. Ravens game is gonna be a really tough one…I don’t think the bears are far behind the pats talent wise and the ravens beat them with Huntley. All three of the pats losses will be afc if they lose that one which is pretty huge
  22. I think it’s the blitz pickups being rough the last few weeks weighing on his confidence tbh…his internal clock seems off to me the last few games. This has happened pretty much every year for a stretch even when we were solid at wr I don’t think he mentally cares about receivers getting open or not like that to the point where that’s what would rattle him
  23. It was a classic find something that works and keep hammering it game. Hawes was an absolute beast in run blocking I wonder how the TE snaps shook out
  24. It’s not talking him up so much as it’s talking guys like Elijah Moore down if that makes sense? 😂 Palmer missing seems relevant to the comparing this years offense to last year’s at least. Taking Kincaid and the best outside wr away last year would’ve resulted in a falcons level mess or worse I think
  25. Palmer is solid too…still think we should add one more but I don’t see that injury talked about a lot.. even if you have a pretty low opinion of him getting someone like Elijah Moore off the field and palmer on is a big upgrade any way you slice it
