Ehh in this case if a division rival offers you a great deal you take it imo.. Dolphins and jets have to completely turn their roster over anyone they trade will be on the downswing by the time they are competitive again

That’s my guess at what fell though…maybe the bills only wanted Deebo and the commanders tried packaging Von in for more picks, maybe bills wanted both and commanders would only give up one. Idk

Bills picks are traditionally very late in the round to be fair…if someone is matching the bills offer there’s pretty much never a reason to take it

I don’t think you restructure a deal unless you’re pretty sure a trade is getting done…it’s possible something seemed like a sure thing and fell through though for sure

Deebo is definitely a good run blocker at minimum….i don’t think you really get much value leaving Keon out there a ton of snaps with Deebo on the roster

If we pick up Deebo, Keon is gonna lose a ton of snaps imo. Even at this stage Deebo is better than keon at everything

I mean they’re doing that now and the bills have a worse version of current Deebo getting like 80% of the snaps haha if there’s a Deebo trade Coleman is def getting phased out short term

Not sure if we are but commanders could be holding out hoping his price gets driven up til the last moment

I still think it adds quite a bit…should be a mostly throwaway pick too. Obviously it’s not super flashy like trading a first and a second for waddle or something like that though for sure. How many guys are there working the underneath/intermediate stuff competently? lol one maybe? Seems like Kincaid gets a lot of work deeper down the field Deebo feels a lot like the kinda player we wanted Keon to be

I don’t think that’s a big stopper tbh…jets and dolphins are FULL rebuild. They’d ship him here if we outbid everyone. Will we though is the question…obviously if you get matching offers then yea ship him outside the division

Deebo gets a ton of targets a year…where does this gadget guy label come from I really don’t understand lol he’s more of a full time player than shaheed would’ve been in this offense

Assuming he stays healthy (which is a tricky assumption lol) I honestly really like Deebo in this offense he’s kinda the model of player they were trying to hit on with Coleman and probably missed 😂 If you’re running the football half the time, you need a mauler in run blocking, you need a quick outlet on these chiefs exotic blitzes that’s a pretty big target and has a shot even when covered. You need someone with the iq to sit in open space on the field

Chiefs had every reason to go absolutely all out on the bills the last three regular season matchups. There’s an absolute 0% chance they weren’t throwing everything they have at those games this year the chiefs are battling for the division last year they were trying to continue an undefeated season and that was their final speed bump the year before that they had a really good chance to prevent the bills from making the playoffs at all

Yea that was a weird scenario where I think Odell was better than the available WRs we’re talking about here as likely targets and he was a free agent after bullying his way out of Cleveland obviously a big name wr would definitely help 😂

They seem to think they’re a cb coming in midseason away but I really don’t think so

I’ve got a feeling the bills kinda know that a pretty good receiver jumping in midseason with 0 rapport with the qb doesn’t add as much value as a pretty good DT/edge jumping in after going through the Amari cooper experience. Guess we’ll see though someone like Elijah Moore who’s fast but kinda lacking in the game iq dept but he’s been on the team for awhile would probably give you as much juice as a jakobi meyers type coming in that doesn’t know the playbook

Not sure if we’d pay the hypothetical price but Miami and NYJ would take a big offer from Buffalo for a wr…they won’t be relevant for awhile anyway this isn’t like dolphins/jets teams that are close to competitive giving the bills ammo

I don’t think a team knowing they’re going into a full rebuild cares about trading skill position players within the division too much. By the time the jets reload Garrett Wilson will slow down a bit I don’t think he’s coming to Buffalo but I wouldn’t be shocked

This was definitely an ‘offer they can’t refuse’ type thing…sauce has been pretty meh since they no longer let him hold every play haha I am honestly kinda shocked they got two firsts unless the jets are eating a bunch of contract or something
