Regular season is almost always all hands on deck health wise then we almost always lose our best corner for the rematch like clockwork lol. Cb depth seems like a huge issue come playoff time. 13 second game we had tre for the regular season and no tre playoffs, starting cbs were Dane Jackson/Levi Wallace. last year we lost the whole freakin LB room for the playoffs but corner was ok this year benford went down for the playoffs and we were left with Douglas and elam/lewis which takes you from a solid corner duo to one of the worst in the league. really gotta figure the depth out one cb injury shouldn’t be doing that.

If Allen asks for a new staff he should get it.

Idk that any of those guys are better than mcd right now lol Sirianni might have a chiefs problem also guess we’ll see -

Your ‘best quarterback ever can’t win the superbowl’ argument applies to McCarthy when he was at his best and he has regressed horribly since then and ran a talented cowboys team straight into the ground.. it’s quite frankly an embarrassing suggestion lol like if you were cryogenically frozen for mccarthys entire time with Dallas I’d still probably push back on the point but assuming you weren’t it’s just insane to pitch him as an upgrade 😂 belichick had one of the best ranked defenses in the league and gave up a perfect offensive game to the bills and the Brady pats gave up a boatload of points to the chiefs but snuck through on an OT coin flip. You really sure enough he will fare better that you fire your coach to hire a 200 year old man? Lol -
Josh played every bit as good as mahomes in this one if not better against an exponentially more talented secondary and pass rush after benford went down and people are completely discrediting it cuz he looked kind of nervous on the first drive lol it’s wild If he did what you said on the 4th down and somehow turns his body left to get that ball off Shakir never makes it to the line and then id ironically be agreeing with you that he made a mistake in a big moment lol your analysis of that play is completely wrong. Shakir would’ve caught that ball way behind the line of scrimmage when Josh needed to get that ball off and there were plenty of chiefs to make the tackle

Idk what the floor for great is then lol that’s a great defense that got even better since our last matchup. I really thought our oline was gonna be good enough to control the game, they weren’t, and Josh played well enough to win it anyway. if you told me benford would go down and we would get roughed up in pass blocking before the game I would’ve said we were losing by double digits but Josh willed them back in it and was probably one drop / a couple bs spots away from getting it done

This is less logical than the people blaming Lamar for Andrews’ 2 point drop last week imo. Josh made clutch plays all night post first drive and made perhaps the clutchest throw in history with a whole dline in his face and his guy just dropped it. If he had taken a bad sack there I’d probably agree with you
-
I genuinely still don’t get this take at all unless people shut the game off after the first drive lol I think your disappointment has blinded you from a real good game from Josh honestly. If he didn’t hit Kincaid in the hands on that last ridiculous throw I’d understand the point a little more I guess. The guy made crazy clutch plays all night that are being completely taken for granted

The only coach to blow a game to a 7 seed that hardly ever gets out of the wildcard round has a way better track record than mcd because he won a superbowl a decade and a half ago hahaha ok why don’t you go pick up Doug Pederson while you’re at it Sent your post to my cowboys fan friends and they are dying right now 😂 -
In some ways, this is worse than the drought in my opinion

That stat is such crap lol. Getting ‘stopped’ on that 4th down is absolutely a turnover. Completely functionally the same as a fumble , a straight up stupid technicality is the only reason it applies -

People thinking McCarthy is better tells me everything I need to know about how rational this place is lol. What a joke -
Allen's worse pass of night was to the wrong ref
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
That screen looked like an audible to me but I could be wrong…I thought cooper could’ve squeezed a few more yards out of that one tbh still would’ve been a scary 4th down but maybe a little less scary -
Joe Brady and Aaron Kromer had a rough night
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d buy that more if we didn’t take them down to the wire every time in the playoffs. The only difference between the regular season game and this game was our offense made the big time clutch play to seal it. This time we couldn’t connect -

lol that spot was so comically bad…I was holding out hope for my sanity that maybe his knee went down earlier than the still image shows but it didn’t. At worst that was like 4th and an inch and there’s no way in hell they’re stopping a sneak the ref is standing on the spot then places the ball a good half yard away from it 😂 -
Is it time to move on from McDermott?

Gruden won a superbowl that dungy likely would’ve won anyway without a ridiculous dynasty like the chiefs to slay in the superbowl then ran the team straight into the ground lol -
I am so tired of people blaming one thing lol what’s so good about the chiefs is one side of the ball gets it done when the other is struggling. Bills offense had a chance to pick the defense up on the final drive two years in a row and failed both times.. doesn’t absolve the defense but it’s undeniably true.. if they get that done, the conversation is all about how the chiefs defense struggles against Buffalo and not the other way around there can absolutely be multiple problems in a game lol

Just some thoughts before I log off for a while...
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s as good as a qb is gonna play against kc…we can nitpick him to death comparing it to a perfect performance and point out the plays missed but anyone is gonna miss some plays. I don’t like blaming one thing but we needed one more play from anyone and came up short -
And the chiefs won 2/3 of those games and completely uncharacteristically imploded in the other one.. people don’t talk about game flow enough.. if the Texans and ravens weren’t tomato cans on offense in those games the chiefs absolutely would’ve scored more points
-
A 4th and inches ‘stop’ in good field position for the chiefs is essentially a turnover and functioned exactly like a turnover in this one. That stat is kinda bollocks
