  1. I legitimately never knew this until today but Cole bishop is 6’2” apparently haha
  2. I get we get on the bills for potentially running too much but the flip side of that coin is the chiefs who can’t really run on nickel or dime. Pretty tough to win a game that way
  3. They really feel like they’re primed to be this year’s 2021 titans. If they hang on to the 1 seed I can’t really see them winning in the divisional. Not a gimme at all on paper but feels like about as easy as the second round of the playoffs realistically gets
  4. Oh yea I’m not saying the bills won’t win the division but I was curious how people felt about that hypothetical
  5. One thing about non season ending injuries is it keeps the guys from getting hurt in the middle of the season leading up to the playoff push 😂. Silver lining
  6. Football is a super high variance sport and there are so few games in the season that it’s just really prone to causing short term overreactions positive or negative. if you change one or two plays you can turn a comfortable win for a team into a loss in a lot of the games so in a smallish sample size there’s just really no way to tell how good a team is
  7. That’s probably the most likely outcome…it’s a bit uncomfy though and playoff football pretty much starts now for them which will take a bit of a toll either way. Tiebreaker wise if they finish 5-3 instead of 6-2 it might not be enough to get in so the wiggle room is pretty minimal they don’t have a ton of layups on the schedule but there aren’t any super tough games either
  8. I think a lot of that is more opponent he usually sees on the road than something that would apply to the other teams lol
  9. Yea I’d go 1 seed still for sure (like it’s something we can choose… 😂)but wildcard game against pit on the road might be better than a home game against kc or Baltimore round 1 should it shake out that way the 1 seed is such a huge advantage…not only do you get the rest and an auto advance to round 2 but you get a jumpstart gameplanning on the few teams you expect to potentially see round 2
  10. The afc east could end up in a really weird spot where the division winner gets a significantly tougher first round matchup than whoever ends up being the wildcard if you swap the jags out in that graphic for Baltimore or kc, would you rather be the bills or the pats? Really interesting question
  11. The jags game wasn’t even that bad tbh they outgained the jags handedly and the jags pulled off some real low success rate catches to move the ball at all.. 7 points of the jags total were a mahomes pick 6
  12. Not to mention letting them sit out for a year and learn from a vet seems to make a tremendous difference in a qbs development and mahomes got drafted to a much better roster. Who knows if mahomes even turns out to be the same player if he went to a talentless franchise and had to be the immediate starter instead
  13. Seems like a point of emphasis to no longer bend over backwards to protect QBs dancing along the sideline. Wonder if teams complained about guys like mahomes kinda pretending they’re running out of bounds then taking off down the sideline he’s done that quite a few times Bryce young got demolished earlier in the day jogging to the sideline but still in bounds
  14. The part that seems to get overlooked is draft picks turn into players on rookie deals for 4 maybe 5 years, the player you’re trading for is not usually in a situation like that.. if there’s a guy you like long term anyway and you’ve got the current/future cap space it takes some of that sting out of losing an early pick but trading a pick for a short term rental hurts because you’re losing the opportunity to have a guy play for you for essentially nothing and the player you’re trading for could leave you anyway those ‘I want this guy long term’ type trade prospects get a ton of interest from other teams so the price gets driven up honestly if Hairston works out the first round picks have been quite good…way too early to tell though of course haha bishop,Kincaid, and Hairston could rewrite a lot of the script on our early picks but we’ll see how they look long term
  15. They think Carl cheffers is to them what Shaun hochuli is to us so they pretty much went in looking for things to complain about ended up pretty even imo…we got called for a few ticky tacky things which offset a couple bad officiating breaks for them
  16. This stat is honestly pretty crazy especially when you consider they’ve gone pretty conservative due to blowouts/running out the game like 3-4 different times now
  17. The current thinking seems to be starting to shift to we miss on second round picks most but we do love to overreact to 1-2 games of course 😂 our first rounders in the josh era have been Josh, Edmunds, Ed Oliver, Greg Rousseau, kaiir Elam, Kincaid,Hairston Second round picks are Cody ford, aj epenesa, boogie basham, James cook, Torrence, Coleman, bishop, TJ Sanders it’d be pretty cool to give up a second for a trade instead haha
  18. This felt like a straight up fluke play as far as pass rush goes at least. Bosa could’ve moonwalked in for a sack in fact it was so easy for him that he figured he was getting played by the chiefs and hesitated for a second or two lol. Chiefs blew the blocking assignment so badly that it worked out in their favor 😂. Bosa would’ve felt awful if we ended up losing the game I’d imagine
  19. It’s not easy to pull off but when the second wave of defenders contains well, mahomes definitely seems to panic a bit.. I don’t know if it’s the score as much as it’s that. Felt like he thought he was escaping pressure but was actually scrambling right into a late rusher all night
  20. If he’s this happy maybe he takes something a bit team friendly…I’m hoping that’s the case at least 😂
  21. I really think Moore has a chance to be pretty good with more reps tbh. I don’t think any of his issues are physical really…he just seems like he’s a bit slow picking up on how his qb expects him to adjust his route in certain situations.
  22. I’d be interested to see what the chiefs defense success rate on plays like that is…they are probably the best d in the league on obvious passing downs the bills were 2-5 on 3rd and 5+ I think and their opening drive TD they were knocked back to a 2nd and 14 and scored a td Josh was great but I think the offense definitely could’ve been better…Hawes dropped that wide open bullet and we missed blitz recognitions/pickups a few times and Spencer brown who was great the rest of the game gave up a quick pressure to karlaftis on that huge 4th and 2 play
  23. He’s been playing pretty well for awhile but nobody has really paid attention because the defense has been so bad overall and he had a couple ‘getting run over by huge RBs in the open field’ plays that would’ve probably happened to most safeties this was his best game for sure but I definitely wouldn’t call it his only good one
  24. Chargers losing their next 2 before the bye kinda has some benefits too at least. Keeps the Steelers ahead of the ravens and if Baltimore and kc both get forced into the wildcard race I don’t think both can make it chargers game in two weeks is Jax who is putting pressure on kc in the wildcard race. Of course if Denver fumbles too that opens the division back up for kc though and maybe no one else steps up for the wildcard if you knock the chargers back a few games
  25. He woulda had all day to throw if karlaftis didn’t beat brown so bad lol they basically got pressure with a one man rush there 😂
