  1. That was a weird play looked like he slipped or something
  2. It kinda makes sense to me to wait to the bye to ramp up activities for him…LCL sprains are pretty rare so it’s hard to say but one I know of was Treylon burks who came back fairly quick and injured his knee again a month later then tore his acl after those two knee injuries that same year maybe there’s a reinjury risk angle. Seeing as that’s pretty much half the sample size of dudes that only sprained their LCL I could see why a team would be cautious. It’s not some veteran player…you can tank his whole career if his knee takes another bad injury
  3. Someone will be dumb enough to hire him if we’re following the same script as last year lol October is almost always our low point and nobody remembers it if you finish strong. there just aren’t many good HC prospects this offseason too
  4. There’s different grades of sprains…serious LCL sprain could very reasonably take 6 weeks+ to heal a mild LCL sprain for just a normal non athlete they usually tell you you can get back to normal activities in a month possibly wearing a brace but normal activities doesn’t include covering nfl wideouts 😂
  5. I think bishop had cramps…don’t think it was a benching. He honestly has been getting better granted it’s hard not to cuz the bar was so low to start with 😂. Rapp seems like the way bigger problem
  6. I feel like the defensive scheme has been changing a good amount starting around the playoffs last year but the results are bad so no one cares (which is understandable lol). Feels like we’re playing way more man than usual at minimum.
  7. Edge actually feels like it’s been pretty good for the first time in a long time which has given me some hope lol. in the interior, Walker has looked good at times in and Ed has played well also. Everything else on defense has been horrible though to the point where Shaq Thompson felt like a huge upgrade over our starters at LB 😂 id just stick Hoecht at OLB and have him blitz his a** off haha that’s gotta be better than anything most of our LBs have been doing
  8. He’s been pretty bad in two preseasons now… that late regular season bills game was even less meaningful than a preseason game imo cuz it was pats starters against bills backups the whole way
  9. Last season was kinda the same exact trajectory to be fair. One huge game and one where we dominated and he didn’t have to do much of anything in the first few games then a nosedive in October. Couple games where we played a good half but were sleepwalking through the rest, banged up defense, beat bad teams and lost to the only two good ones we saw in a 4-2 start there wasnt much talk about Josh being mvp in week 6 after just sneaking by the jets after two ugly losses.
  10. Idk if anything has changed since I saw this meme flying around the internet but apparently the broncos are running the nfl’s least creative offense when looking at motion rates etc. could be bo nix limitations though for sure. I think Payton is possibly just another guy the nfl has passed by. It’s not his specialty that is working well for them. eagles got murdered by the giants when the giants were starting bargain bin receivers the next week lol. I’m not sure the broncos sneaking by them is super relevant. I think he’s probably just another mcd at best where do the broncos have less talent outside of qb? The skill position players is pretty comparable and their defense is loaded.
  11. Such a freaky Friday year for the bills where I think the DL is gonna be good for once and the secondary terrible 😂
  12. I think Moore has a solid skill set but 0 football iq after watching that game Monday haha falcons could just blitz all night because some of those WRs that never really play had absolutely no idea how to adjust their routes even our straight up JAGs would’ve been open a ton if they at least knew what they were doing 😂 if we can’t get a big fish adding a pretty good wr with a little bit of common sense could still help a bunch
  13. Idk what’s going on with Rapp but I’d imagine the team is about ready to give up on him as well. He was pretty serviceable last year which probably gave him a longer leash but he’s been about as bad as you can be this year lol feels like bishop is getting better to me but he has been the victim of an unfortunate lowlight where he has to tackle a massive running back one on one in the open field a few times haha assuming Palmer stays healthy(which I don’t think you can assume unfortunately) if you could only pick one player to add I think a safety would be the bigger impact but we really need both. If you’re going into a hugely important game with just Shakir though and no Kincaid/palmer wr would be the bigger add
  14. He seemed to fiddle with defensive attention and free up other guys….it was probably more subtle than most people expected but the offense got significantly better overall with him in the lineup
  15. This is probably true overall but I really do think having even just one more pretty good wr could move the needle a good amount. Even that would be much better than nothing imo but obviously the better the guy you can get the better it is the depth is pretty dreadful if Palmer goes down which was a huge issue Monday night. Shavers/moore were about as bad as you could get at route adjustments it was like they’ve never played football before lol
  16. He’s traded for a player midseason three years in a row I’m pretty sure 😂 it would be more unusual if he didn’t trade for someone lol
  17. He’s traded for players midseason the last 3 years I’m pretty sure unless I’m goofing on the Hynes trade year
  18. This board hates Kincaid but he seems to get a lot of defensive attention…Josh looks really uncomfortable without Kincaid out there
  19. I think he’ll probably give them all one final chance unless we miss the playoffs and maybe if we end up a wildcard team. Not sure that’s what I want to happen but that seems like what’s gonna happen 😂
  20. The defense is a straight up enigma…I really think there’s players playing well and a lot of them were meant to be depth pieces it is so strange. Deone Walker gives me a sliver of hope as that is notoriously one of the big problem spots.. I think there’s still a chance they turn it around I think Hoecht could be great tbh and he plays a few positions of enormous need. Ogunjobi is a veteran coming off a few bad years that maybe a change of scenery helps. I don’t have as much hope for him
  21. Im all for the overall negativity but the Baltimore point is so annoying…we saw a much better Baltimore team than anyone else did
  22. I wish it was easier to find blitz/man defense rates haha I’m way too sad to rewatch the last few games. To me it feels like the scheme is changing which is either a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it 😂 but I could be wrong.
  23. This is always so interesting cuz people are like ‘they’re just depth pieces who cares’ but beane seems to miss on all his big signings/early draft picks and his depth signings/late picks go on to be impact players haha If we truly think Hoecht is a depth piece he’ll probably be an all pro 😂
  24. If you fire him now the OC everyone hates is now the head coach and Bobby babich is the only one coaching your defense lol. If we had some coordinator we wanted to audition for HC I’d somewhat understand it but we don’t
