  1. Maybe, but I was more thinking Tyreek Hill's inspiration to go the porn star route might have been inspired by the Rodgers' stache!
  2. Wow, the Jets vaunted defense is taking it to the Chiefs. .....Wait, .....am I watching in an alternate universe?
  3. Wow, I spelled educated wrong. Everything I typed after that is suspect.
  4. I get it. It's a problem when media personnel who are supposed to be well edjucated and are put in a high profile position to ask questions of a high profile athlete and they look foolish. On a similar, but unrelated note, I love Paul Hamilton. Very insightful, and does radio interviews very well. But his articles are hard to read. The content is good, but how it's presented is not good. It's choppy and has zero flare.
  5. Yeah, but when Trevor Lawrence throws for 4 TDs in week 7, (not next week), he'll be the MVP candidate.
  6. I'm in Tampa and I listen to WGR on my commutes. I get it, some of these reporters are just asking questions everyone knows they should ask. Probably get lazy how they word it. But what bothers me more is, when I listen to WGR online, sometimes they rebroadcast interviews on Shopp an the Bulldog. I hate it, because i can only hear the answers. I hear, "blah, blah, blah, yada, yada yada....", and then "Yes, he's good!" Comedian Brian Regan did a bit on that. I can't find a clip, but it's spot on.
  7. Hopefully this is an evolution and not an anomaly. I think he's gaining that mad scientist personality.
  8. Noooooo! I'm hoping for an incredible upset tonight. But hope isn't the same as expectations. And I expect the game to be over at the 5 minute mark of the 1st qtr.
  9. My game ball goes to Beane. There was a lot of questions with Oliver and some questions with Rousseau, but I think he nailed them both.
  10. Beane is starting to look a lot better with picks of Oliver and Rousseau. I was skeptical about Oliver. I was always hopeful of Rousseau because of his wing span, but these picks are looking incredible. and they compliment each other real well. What a D line. Get healthy Von and take your time. We need you for the stretch run.
  11. I'm jealous of everyone going to the game next week. I've been to London a couple of times and it's an incredible city. Hope everyone has an awesome time. With that said, Jaguars had a get-right game this week. Hope the Bills fans help to give the Jaguars a get-wrong game again.
  12. I was worried after their first 2 drives. But I got to thinking, that's what our defense does in a lot of games. We give up some easy drives early, then the D tightens up. It's like a feeling out period. And I'd rather have that than dominating in the first quarter and then fading as the game goes on.
  13. I've been a bit critical of Dorsey, but I absolutley love his game this week. The scheme and playing calling were probably his best. he had Allen looking off receivers all day. Had Allen at his best.
  14. It's an anniversary, so just be happy with the flowers.
  15. I've got my onesie ready and cereal selection but I'm not watching on Disney.
  16. Anyone have a quarter I can borrow? I need decide if this is a good thing or bad thing.
  17. Don't know why, that makes me chuckle every time a read it. Bills 34 Phins 31
  18. Thursday night football is like the weekly Christmas Eve. When I was a kid, we were allowed to open one gift on Christmas Eve. It was always pajamas or socks. Kinda feels like that's what Thursday night football games are like.
  19. Be careful. Anything can happen....
  20. Me, by the time the primetime night games arrive......
  21. I have a question about this 12 personnel thing. Actually a more general question to the numbered personnel terminology. Let's say for example we're at the goal line. And the Bills line up with 1 tight end, their normal compliment of linemen, no RB, but one of our backup linemen lines up at RB. The Fridge thing. Is that 11 personnel or 01 personnel? Seems to me it should be 11 which is contrary to how we use 12 personnel with Kincaid lining up in various spots. Why is the numbered formation terminology based on the players and not the actual formations? I think if you're in 12 personnel, the tight ends (regardless who is playing the position) should be in tight on the line of scrimmage. What if we put 3 RBs split wide with 1 TE in tight and 1 TE in the backfield? That's 32 personnel implying 3 RBs. and no WRs, when we really have 3 wideouts and 1 RB. Or am I overthinking this whole thing?
  22. And he's not the only Smith that called himself a Legend....
