  1. Yes because 25 years ago is a relevent to today's salary cap and free agent rules as the last 10 years.
  2. With the Bills defensive scheme seeming to have been exposed by the Bengals. Plus the fact the Bills have only 1 starting player who could clearly be traded for a first round pick (Allen), and the large number of free agents it seems almost like the Bills have slipped into rebuild mode, albeit with a super star QB in place. I feel like for the next run, the Bills should do exactly what you said. We should be drafting online and WRs with our early picks.
  3. Since 2012, Russell Wilson (2013), Nick Foles (2017) and Patrick Mahomes (2019). Since 2012 3 QBS on Rookie QBs won Super Bowls. Tom Brady won 4 Super Bowls. All other QBs combined 3 Super Bowls.
  4. Successful QB on a rookie contract
  5. Texans are going to get a new QB in the draft. Things can turn fast.
  6. I think people are concerned the Jets beat us with Zack Wilson, and would have an even better chance with Aaron Rodgers. The Jets roster is much better than the Packers.
  7. Hurts, Lance/Purdy, Burrows all disagree.
  8. Its all relative. Our main competitors in the AFC have equally or greater restructure opportunities.
  9. I think it shows teams are interested in having a middle level talent at QB for five years at rookie prices. With the idea they build around him (like 3 of the final 4 did this year, the eagle, bengals and niners did this year) and maybe even catch a QB for the future worth paying (which seems to be the case for Burrows and Hurts).
  10. Yes. Because Lamar wants 250 million guaranteed. Whichever QB the Panthers draft will be under the rookie Salary Cap for 5 years. This will be less than 40 million for the first 4 years total. Fifth year option is probably 25 million. So 250 million - 65 million - 185 million the panthers save by not going after Lamar.
  11. When you combine those rookies with our super deep dline rotation, no one will be able to stop us.
  12. Use and research are different things.
  13. This dropped on twitter a few minutes back, an interview with Diggs:
  14. This might the most depressing statement on TBD since the end of the season (because its true). When you pause to think about it, what we saw in the Bengals games is that our defense was "exposed". hmm.
  15. At best this would help identify a top college talent scout, not a GM
  16. No truth to this at all.
  17. But he really really really wants to be the highest paid player
  18. awful for an LB
  19. Hard to believe Oliver with a 1 year 11 million dollar contract is worth a second round draft pick.
  20. Overshown had a weak combine.
  21. The growing pains with Edmunds never ended
  22. They don't have to. NFL teams can cut whoever they want. Cut him or keep him. Both are fine. Extra legal proceedings like fines and suspensions for activities prior to joining the NFL is what I was specifically referring to.
  23. I think the legal system should handle legal issues. I don't think everyone's employer needs to function as a separate wing of government to provide additional punishments. If the law thinks Mixon and Hill should be in prison, then they aren't available to play in the NFL. If the law says they are entitled to be a liberty, then let them do their jobs.
  24. Was Geno Smith undervalued? The answer is an obvious no.
  25. Not sure you understand how the NFL free agent market works.
