  1. Why not an option 1A where the Salary Cap saved by resigning Edmunds is used to improve the oline, and Edmunds is replaced in the draft?
  2. Your confusion is because you have a reading comprehension issue. I wrote 2024. The coming season is 2023.
  3. at all costs? Edmunds is seeking offers from other teams in free agency.
  4. If he had no contractual obligation to disclose allegations then there is nothing dishonest about not disclosing those allegations or lawsuits.
  5. To be clear. Sandusky is part of the PSU history. But otherwise, I think you have the University of Pennsvlvania and Penn State University confused.
  6. The Oline needs a complete redo. No one other than Dawkins should be on the roster in 2024, other than as a possible backup. If the team is committed to rebuilding the line, I think we need to borrow a first round pick from 2024, and combine it with pick 27 to move up in the draft. On the points chart (I know that is far from perfect), that could allow us to move up to 12 by trading with Houston. At 12, it is almost certain one of the top 3 Tackles in the draft, Paris Johnson Jr., Peter Skoronski, and Broderick Jones should be available. We likely would have our pick of them. My personal choice Skoronski. We our second pick might be able to add John Michael Schmitz. If not Joe Tippman from Wisconsin should be there. Tippman would be able to start at Guard as long as Morse is Healthy. There are several good guard options who should be available with our later picks to compete with Bates & Spencer Brown for the other guard spot. These include Andrew Vorhees from USC and an interesting UCLA player Atonio Mafi. Chandler Zavala from NCS and Jarrett Patterson from Norte Dame. Bang, bang, bang, new line is Dawkins, Tippman, Morse, Vorhees, Skoronski.
  7. Lots of immediate options being discussed in this thread: https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/246114-suitable-edmunds-replacements-in-the-draft/
  8. My biggest fear is we commit huge dollars to Edmunds, effectively locking us into a defensive scheme, and DC, that seems to have been figured out by the good teams.
  9. Your addition of Graham seems to fill out the consensus in this thread that there are lots ways to move on from Edmunds (on rookie contracts)
  10. The premise of the OP is that we can get an adequate Edmunds replacement in the third round.
  11. Lets get all the draftees, and build an super line. Its just this simple:
  12. Skynet does what it wants.
  13. I love Jack Campbell. Different type of player. We need to to address offense in rounds 1 and 2. He won't be around in round three. But he his an old school MLB. might be wasted in the McDermott/Frazier full time prevent defense.
  14. Seems like there are several third round type players who can be suitable Edmunds replacements. This assumes we are keeping Frazier and our scheme. These are two: DeMarvion Overshown - former safety who grew up to be a linebacker https://thedraftnetwork.com/sr-prospect/demarvion-overshown-9d45f5cd-68e2-4ed1-ba13-6c61db37b4b8/ DeMarvion Overshown 🔥 FREAKISH LINEBACKER ᴴᴰ WARNING EXPLICIT LYRICS Drew Sanders - Projects all over the place from early second to late third Best Linebacker in the Nation 💪 | Drew Sanders 2022 Arkansas Highlights 🐗 || HD
  15. What we learned from Daboll leaving is that we had to take step back with our superstar QB, while the new OC and QB gelled. This will be repeated when Dorsey leaves. It is why some teams with a truly elite QB have a head coach who takes ownership of the offense.
  16. I am not anti-Dorsey. I am not sure what the available options would be that might help the Bills win a championship. If there are no better options than Dorsey then roll with Dorsey. But Imagine if you held interviews for the OC Job, which included Dorsey, and asked him "why are the best choice to help the bills win a championship in 2023? " and his answer was "I was only a rookie last year, you have to give me time to develop, obviously I will be better in year 2", a logical GM would kick him out the door. So I assume Dorsey has more to offer than that.
  17. Brandon Beane drafted Josh Allen. As a consequence, the Bills are now almost automatically a playoff team, and even a top 8 team. But it is fair to observe that well into Josh Allen's career we appeared to be stalled. If you place Allen on the top 24 NFL rosters, those rosters/coaching staffs look just about as good as the Bills (or better if you put him on a few teams like the niners, eagles, chiefs or bengals). (note not saying the chiefs or bengals are better than they are now with Allen, just saying they have stronger non-QB rosters than the Bills). However Beane has been doing it for the last several years ought to change, if the goal is to win a championship. Because it seems the current process has gone as far as it can.
  18. Either the Jets or PFF is silly. I picked up Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall, and still landed Torrence
  19. If you are confident the oline is fixed with a first round guard than this plan is viable (I think the line needs a much bigger overhaul) Having over 30 million spent on WR 1&2 with a total age of 61 is also a bit unusual. I am not sure that is optimal. I would rather spend the money on Philadelphia Eagles guard Isaac Seumalo, and roll with Davis / snd round WR pick to battle it out for WR2. Davis will be much better if Allen has better pass protection. https://heavy.com/sports/buffalo-bills/isaac-seumalo-eagles-free-agency/
  20. This would not be a popular opinion. But I think Diggs would be the greatest slot receiver of all time. Wes Welker and Julian Edelman on steroids.
  21. I think we need to borrow from the future. Trade away future picks to get two additional first round picks in the middle of this draft. This is a QB heavy / Defense heavy draft. Top tackles, and WR's are going to be available in the mid teens. #27 should land the best Guard in the draft.
  22. You realize that mock simulations are games. And the user does not control the game. PFF sets the rules not me. Also you may not have noticed the title of the thread ".........never going to happen draft." Why be such a dawgturd. I enjoyed their analysis of him in the draft guide which included this comment: "Role was comical for projecting to NFL. Just vertical routes from the slot."
  23. Today's online rebuild list 2 round draft. I am willing to use three first round picks 2023,2024 and 2025 on online to protect my QB who is worth more than all those picks combined. My view is that if it was actually possible to trade these future first rounders, we could have the best online in the league beginning as soon as this season, and in any case by next season. Kick Skoronski inside on the left, with Dawkins at tackle, Torrence at RG, and Jones at right Tackle. None of these guys are projects. I would expect Josh to have all day to pass, and Cook to have massive holes to run through. Diggs Hyatt, Shakir should fill WR1, 2,3 just fine, and Knox will become more of a weapon, because he won't have to block as much as he does not. This offense would become unstoppable.
