It takes time for an oline to gel. Ours has had time and hasn't gelled. I think drafting an entire oline together (or most of an oline) and being able to keep them on rookie contracts for 4-5 years gives a team the best chance to build something special. This is my NEW (feb 15) 2 round only mock draft via the PFF simulator (PFF didn't love it). Flame away. I am more curious about what people think on trying to build a same age oline more than dinging or braising the individual players.

Frazier: The hard FACTS on why many of us want a change.
Chaos replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
What do you think the Chiefs are doing differently to navigate what would seem to be the same challenges? -
Will he be in charge of calling defensive timeouts, that are followed by giving up a big play, or will McDermott still have that responsibility?

What does a senior defensive assistant do?

Have you looked at this if you remove Allen, Burrows and Mahomes?

Frazier: The hard FACTS on why many of us want a change.
Chaos replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is more or less what Beane said in his post season press conference, and also seemed to indicate there was not much anyone could do about it. -
FYI. Docs may not tell you, but being a Bills fan adds 20 points to diastolic and systolic measurements. You may need a different med dosage in season.

Biden State of the Union Address on February 7th
Chaos replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Those that hate peace and hate real rising wages will applaud tonight’s speech. People who prefer peace and prosperity will not understand what accomplishments have been achieved. -
Would you resign Edmunds or a tackle?
Chaos replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
The issue with Edmunds is DC. It seems possible that any DC other than Fraizer would want a different type of linebacker. -
How did the Patriots maintain a top team for 17 years?
Chaos replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Superb game day coaching and clock management. I am hard pressed to think of a patriots game during the Brady era that the coaches blundered away. Certainly not the most important part of the run. But also not trivial. -
McDermott will have had 7 years as a coach by the end of this year, not three. If he can't advance past the divisional round again in his 7th season, it is reasonable to make an assessment of what he is likely to achieve with the Bills. I would expect to make the divisional round of the playoffs in the first year with the next coach. If we failed to make the playoffs, he would likely be one and done. My baseline would be to make the divisional round of the playoffs, and show progress towards winning an AFC Championship in the first three years. And if progress is made I would expect a fourth season. If Allen plays at an elite level through McDermott Season 7 and four seasons of a new coach without an AFC championship, I would publicly apologize too him for wasting his time, and work with him to land with a new team, and hopefully get a trove of draft picks to start over again. A lot of ifs in there. 250 votes, over 200 replies (yours is the only truly useless one), over 5 thousand views. it has a pretty high level of engagement. I can't help it that you are not able to understand the question.

If Frazier returns, how much will your enthusism die?
Chaos replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
On game day none of the off season stuff matters. Will expect to win every week, and be disappointed at bad plays and losing games. And be excited about good plays and wins. -
UPDATED - v3.0 (FINAL) on p.13 - Gunner's 2023 Mock Draft
Chaos replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems like it might make sense to take the best Center in the class in the first round. -

After six seasons McD's results should be evaluated only against other coaches, past and present who have the advantage of one of the elite QBs in the league. Comparing him to Andy Reid / Dononvan McNabb is far less relevent than comparing him to Andy Reid/Patrick Mahomes. There are a number of instances of QBs who went to many playoff games with one head coach but only won a championship after a change in head coach. Peyton Manning, John Elway are the two most prominent. Did things finally "click' for him in his tenth season, or did Mike Shanahan have a skill set Dan Reeves did not?

Should QB Compensation Be Carved Out of the Salary Cap?
Chaos replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
You are correct. If you were too pursue this idea, why have a salary cap at all. -
We are at stage 7 of the McBeane Process: Stage 7: regressing in multiple areas and very contrained by salary cap.

Tomlin, Harbaugh and Carroll all did this early in their tenures. They have been resting on those laurels a long time. Think of this question in terms of production. Here is an analogy. In 2022 Aarron Judge his 62 home runs. Is there room for improvement for Judge. Certainly. Maybe he can hit 67 home runs. But people would think Aaron Boone was goofy as hell to suggest part of the Yankees 2023 strategy was to get more production out of Aaron Judge.

The Eagles are an enigma. They have had the easiet past to the Super Bowl of any team in recent memory. But they stil might be the best team.
