Allen needed to make big time throws to win the game. It wasn't a gimme implosion or something. That being said, both can be true.

If you drop playoff Josh Allen on to the playoff Ravens team they would have multiple titles. They are stupidly talented, but it sure feels like they lack the team cohesion that the Bills have.

If anyone is actually getting upset about this, grow up. It was tongue in cheek, not a major attack on the fanbase.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I think the idea of solo tackling Derrick Henry with a full head of steam is almost impossible for just about any safety. To me the main problem there was the D-Line getting manhandled and letting huge holes open up for Henry. In the passing game, the secondary were playing the run so hard that the middle of the field underneath the safeties was almost always open. I don't know if that's an indictment on the safety play. I don't really know what I'm trying to say here other than don't let what you already thought was bad about the defense before the game dictate your analysis of what actually happened.

That's the secret ingredient that makes them extra terrible... The bias!

Bosa was getting fooled but he was also getting into the backfield often. I think from a pure pass rushing perspective he had a pretty good night. Baltimore is also the single best rushing team of the last 25 years so I'm not going to hold it against him too much. I think against traditional offenses he'll be good to great.

The refs being bad at their jobs is probably the least shocking thing to me in the universe. It's a constant like gravity.

The fan should get banned, but is this really as big of a deal as some are making it? He tapped two players helmets, Jackson pushed him back. From all reports the kid was fine. It was classless all around, be better, but just ban the kid and move on.

Lost in the sauce is that amazing 30 second drive to get the field goal before the end of the half. As long as the Bills have Allen they're in every game. This just really solidifies it.

Allen got them that win by sheer force of will. Ed Oliver deserves a game ball.

Week 1 is probably a liar but man this game just stinks. One of the worst showings from the Bills of the last 5 seasons.

If the coaches that made Damar Hamlin, Levi Wallace, and Dane Jackson look like serviceable starters have dumped you for a day three flyer then I don't have high hopes for a career revival. I expect he's going to look worse and worse as the season goes on when teams get game film on him.

It all kind of hinges on the D-Line and if it's really improved or not. Pressure and run-stuffing from the front 4 combined with the return of Milano / Bernard as a LB pairing should make up for any problems in the secondary, assuming Benford can play. I wish this game was week 4 or 5. I think being week 1 makes it a really tough win for the Bills, who almost always look very wonky the first game of the season. It'll probably be a 28-31 type game, I just have no idea who is who in that scenario.

Back in the days of analog cable I remember my dad had one of those de-scrambler boxes so he could watch PPV boxing and HBO. Nobody really had any moral dilemmas about this, most people just thought "oh that's nifty". These streaming sites are just the modern day equivalent of the de-scrambler box. The pearl clutching reminds me of those "YOU WOULDN'T DOWNLOAD A CAR" PSAs they used to put before movies. For the record, I would 100% download a car instead of pay for one if it was a viable option. I'm not going to shed any tears over mega corporations losing revenue that's basically a rounding error for them when it comes down to it. Better to steal from record profit making companies than your neighbors.

I feel that Eagles hit was one of those that looked way worse than it really was. It's a penalty but ehhh...

The penalties have been very one sided. It's keeping them in the game. Aubrey is the man, btw.

There's probably some old witch's curse at play here that Curtis Samuel and Tre White will never be healthy at the same time.

If Deone Walker or TJ Sanders pops and shows that they're a clear starting caliber force it's going to change the defense entirely.

That background song at the end went pretty hard. Ultimately the season was too safe to be memorable, but as fan it was enjoyable. Hopefully they live up to the lofty goals this season. Go Bills.

I guess you can do worse on the PS, I hope he doesn't see any elevations to gameday unless it's week 17 and we're resting guys with the 1 seed locked up.
