  1. Dillon just had one of the worst seasons you can have as a RB. I wouldn't want him on the team at all, or pay him more than vet. minimum. I'd rather stick with Ty Johnson then even take a flier on AJ Dillon.
  2. Dobbins is kind of interesting if you can get him on the team for a cheap prove it type deal.
  3. I'll open my wallet and drop 60 bucks right now if that's what it takes for a Superbowl win .
  4. Considering how the market has been for RBs compared to last season, it wouldn't surprise me. RBs are getting paid this year.
  5. Likely the best fit for him. I'm very glad Beane is staying away from this first wave of RBs.
  6. There's a reason why the comp. formula isn't made public and the NFL can change it arbitrarily without informing anyone. It would in no way surprise me that there's implicit bias in the formula.
  7. You're right, a WR in R2 then as well. (Half kidding) A veteran signing is your insurance policy. I'd love to get Ridley or a flashy trade but I don't see it happening.
  8. Wait until you run the numbers when Tua get paid 50+ million a year from the dolphins.
  9. Just give me a day one rookie and middle tier veteran. There are more than a few examples of rookie WRs coming into the league and immediately contributing in the last few years.
  10. Not to mention he had a torn pectoral. It's one of the easiest injuries rehab-wise to come back from in football. Much different from an ACL tear or ligament damage.
  11. Elite coaching is probably the biggest difference between the Bills and Chiefs. Reid is way more experienced and a really innovative offensive mind who is sprinkling in a lot of creative plays within a really solid offensive package of plays. McDermott is a defensive guy. Say what you will, but defensive minds don't effect modern football as much as offensive ones. The defense is inherently reactive. This puts us at a disadvantage.
  12. I don't have any stats on hand to back it up, but it felt like he got better after the CB room stabilized and Douglas was brought in. Maybe wishful thinking on my part.
  13. He's a stabilizer on that D-Line. The difference with him in the lineup vs. out was pretty stark. The contract is right in line with his value.
  14. Everyone said a similar thing about rolling with Bernard as the starter at LB last season. Rapp was mostly fine last season except for the penalties, which are going to have a lot of variance from season to season. Another year in the system and I think he's serviceable as a starter. They'll probably want to invest in another veteran or mid draft pick though.
  15. If they brought in Aaron Jones and signed him to a 2 year deal I'd be happy, but not overwhelmed with joy. When he's healthy he's a real threat, but I wouldn't want to pay big money for him with Cook on the roster already. I said before, I really like him, but he'll probably get a decent paycheck from somebody else. If he wants to ring chase, the Bills might be a nice spot for him.
  16. I really like him but he's had a lot of injury issues. He's probably too similar to Cook though in role to be a RB2.
  17. Kirk Cousins has generated generational wealth. He's a slightly above average QB but a shrewd businessman. Wild.
  18. Yes. It's enough for me to write him off as a backup that I would want on the Bills. Just my opinion though, obviously the Bills disagree. I'm not mad they resigned him, it hopefully will matter little as he won't see play. I would have gone in a different direction, I'll take potential over known bad play at the bottom of the roster all day.
  19. He ran into a punter a game or two after and had a big penalty.
  20. All of them had spectacular plays when they're on the field though. Cam Lewis has really only had lowlights. I get that's harsh, given his position as a backup, but I'd much rather try someone new at this point than give him another shot.
  21. Cam Lewis is probably my least favorite Bill of all the guys on the team who don't see play. I know we shouldn't judge a player by a single paly but the 4th down against Jefferson where he doesn't bat the ball is a cuttable offense. I don't feel good with him taking snaps. I don't understand what McDermott sees.
  22. Given the opportunities he had and the multiple goose egg games with no stats, I'd disagree that he was playing to expectations. He blew up every 3rd-4th game. Too volatile to be relied on.
  23. Look, he wasn't terrible, but he had every opportunity and did not end up producing as expected, or necessarily even to an acceptable level. Good luck to him but this was 100% the right decision to move on.
  24. This was the right decision, for the Bills, not the Jags. I don't know what they're doing. I wish Davis all the success but he had every opportunity here in Buffalo to show he's a #2 WR and it never panned out.
  25. Makes a lot of sense for both sides. It would be really bad to have to change out LT, LG, and C all in a single offseason, and Dawkins has been good to great through his career.
