  1. Haha only here and probably on a fins message board would people consider McDaniel the better coach. The guy had a good half season, and that’s somehow better than playoffs 5 out of 6 seasons? I get that people are let down with how the season ended, but…..
  2. Tua’s option doesn’t kick in until next year
  3. I think it’s hilarious reading through the comments and the amount of people saying the Panthers got hosed and then there is just as many people saying the Bears got hosed! Guess that means it’s actually probably a pretty even trade
  4. Can't go in with just this mentality. Would be great if it worked out and the best player at the time is a lineman, but you can't say 2 months from the draft it can only be a lineman.
  5. So outside of the fact that they don't owe fans an explanation about these moves, by giving an explanation of what they want to do with him they lose negotiating leverage, both with Oliver if they want to re-sign him and with teams if they want to find a trade partner. The people who need to know, know what's going on with him. Fans don't need to know and they shouldn't let us know
  6. Who do they need to explain things to? The fans?
  7. So a couple of things about Brown. First, he has only played 2 years so he can't get a new deal. Second, what has he shown that would make you want to extend him? Played in like half of the games last year, played terrible (definitely regressed) this year. Being tall and having a "mean streak" (whatever that means) does not mean he should get an extension
  8. I get your sentiment but this right here is too much hyperbole
  9. Oh the Bengals certainly used it as motivation that’s for sure…in the end that’s what matters
  10. Yes I did say they showed some this year (Diggs did, Allen never has) but your statement was they have always shown displeasure. I agree this year, and even then, the latter part of the season, but not always
  11. I actually found this comical with how much it was blown out of proportion. It’s great that they left out little details like, oh by the way, the Bengals were also selling tickets just in case the Jags won. Didn’t fit the national narrative or the stories the bengals wanted people to believe
  12. Worked out well for the Colts! Peyton hurts his neck, Curtis Painter went in, they got Andrew Luck
  13. This is just simply not true at all. Frustration this year yes, but up until this year that wasn’t the case
  14. I just think the “attack the pretty girl” trope is old. She’s been incredibly supportive as well, she’s never said anything bad about Buffalo. I just think the “obviously it’s his wife doing the talking” comments are dumb
  15. There’s tons of wives who have done it she just us a bigger following so hers is amplified more. Why are we allowed to tweet and complain about athlete salaries but she isn’t? If you think that other players significant others haven’t complained openly about a contract that’s flat out wrong. The big difference between her and us is we root for the team (as does she) but she also roots for the player, which for the most part we don’t. We are always saying this guy should take less money, that guy should be cut, can’t wait to get rid of that guy. Our allegiance is to the team she just has a different perspective
  16. See I don’t get this take at all. Why, because she wants her husband to make as much money as possible? Because she wants a say in where he plays next? Because they live in Florida and god forbid she would like it if he was there? Sound like pretty much every other wife of every other player. yes she has made comments about his contract in the past, but she’s never bashed Buffalo, in fact has spoken highly of it. She supports the team and wants what is best for her and her family. why aren’t people in every thread calling out the wives or girlfriends of players who might go and play somewhere else? We all know why, but is anyone actually able to admit it?
  17. Wow what a concept, the wife gets a say in where she wants him to play. It’s almost like they have a normal marriage!
  18. As should anyone’s wife-what’s your point?
  19. You would give up a first round pick for a guy who averages roughly 50 catches and 700 yards per year? Yea I know QB play and all that, but that’s a lot to give up for a guy who hasn’t had 1000 yards yet and banking a ton on potential
  20. The only one who has done anything of note is Teller. Jones went to the Raiders and did absolutely nothing, did nothing for the first part of this season then finally, finally came on towards the end. And I’m sorry, but 300 yards and a couple of touchdowns for Hodgins is nothing. He’s a slower version of Robert Foster in that as soon as the Giants get some talent at WR he will quickly fall down that depth chart
  21. Spencer Brown definitely did NOT show improvement and he better not be locked into a starting spot. The Bills should be looking to upgrade everything along the offensive line. The only spot I think is safe is Dawkins-not amazing but if you can get better play next to him he will be fine and money needs to be spent on other places
  22. Well it depends - does the player play for the Bills or another team? If he plays for the Bills the guy apparently needs 1500 yards at least and 10-12 touchdowns. If he plays for another team, it looks like around 300 yards and less than 5 touchdowns. Simples math, duh
  23. If you're talking about during the game, you and I were watching different broadcasts. Those guys did not but praise the Eagles O line repeatedly. They repeatedly showed the one play where Jones tried to jump over the line because he couldn't do anything. If you're talking since the game, it's because Hurts is the QB and he set a record....why is that hard to comprehend? The season is over, and offensive line talk is not going to get people to listen to/watch your programming
  24. Last question then we can both move on-do you put any responsibility on the Eagles for losing that game? At this point that’s all I wanna know
  25. Go back and read your earlier statements, but it’s fine I’m good with it. Again the bigger thing is you are putting the loss on the refs not on the Eagles. It was a penalty, that is also a fact. It was definitely a call that if the Bills were involved and it went against them everyone here would be crucifying the refs and I’d they didn’t get the call everyone here would be complaining that the Bills didn’t get the call on an obvious penalty. I was rooting for the Eagles as well, didn’t want to see the Chiefs win, but the Chiefs were the better team. The Eagles choked that game away. The defense made no stops in the second half, the offense sent 3 and out right after they lost the lead, the special teams gave up a huge punt return. That’s what cost them the game, not the penalty call, and that’s also a fact
