  1. He's the guy you sign to get you by for a limited stretch when your starters are out.
  2. Trending that way for sure.
  3. Keeping the O line stocked was every bit as important as getting a full WR corps.
  4. Media pre-draft: Propose fantasy draft scenarios to entertain listeners and get ratings. Media post-draft: Chastise said listeners for being upset about thinking those scenarios were realistic.
  5. People should be elated that we now have the guy with character issues that they said Beane would never get.
  6. I'm here for the melt-downs.
  7. Don't worry. After the draft, people can properly go back to ignoring ESPN.
  8. Got a feeling that D-line gets addressed next.
  9. Can he play receiver?
  10. I think the Bills don't take another receiver until the 4th round.
  11. Doesn't excite me. Miami, NE, and the Jets not concerned.
  12. I think it will dilute the product. Too many games for every one on them to be "must see" and the players will get beat to hell.
  13. For anyone not satisfied with the number of meltdowns on this forum, there are plenty more on WGR.
  14. When you don't have a 3rd, you don't want to lose value by cashing in 2025 picks this year, and you're looking to field a complete team (to include depth) rather than obcessing on a high WR pick.
  15. I can't. In a year where there is a deep WR pool and a need to fill out the roster with more young players, the desire to spend 2025 1st round value for 2nd round return this year is strong in many. WR is being thought of like QB. The concerns at IOL, edge, and safety can't be ignored.
  16. That's not a crazy trade-up scenario. Beane will view the extra 2025 2nd as money to play with this year.
  17. Still too much uncertainty in hitting on a QB - even with that much draft capital.
  18. Rookies on cheap contracts certainly makes a good case. If trading next year's 2nd gives 3rd round value this year, I'd probably pass.
  19. What would Allen have done with Reed in today's game? Something excellent no doubt.
  20. Beane will want to get back into the 3rd almost as much as he'll want to move up in the first. Will be difficult to do both unless he foolishly gives away next year's picks.
  21. The double dip is most likely round 1/2 and round 4/5.
  22. Next year's extra 2nd round pick and all of this year's picks are burning a whole in Beane's pocket. I'm sure he is dreaming of trading up and getting "his guy" because he just knows he'll hit on his guy - even if there is no case for it in a deep WR class.
