  1. Ideally, Beane was the clear hatchet man and made it easier for McDermott.
  2. 7th round pick who escapes the Browns to become an All-Pro with the Red, White, and Blue. Well done. Dude hit.
  3. Exactly. It's no slam on these great Bills players. Not at all. The only constant is change.
  4. Agree. Just please don't make it a reach or give up picks to move up.
  5. If you were looking for $$, Hill would be an easy mark given his reputation.
  6. ........plus the expenditure of a 3rd round pick.....
  7. I'd prefer not to trade up. Really hate seeing a rd 3-5 pick used for a trade-up when there is never really a "sure thing".
  8. Separation skills and hands above all for the WR. If the receiver can't separate until deep or late, then there are few opportunities for them to contribute. If they can only separate in the short areas, then we have another slot guy - which we don't need. Downfield blocking, size, and height for contested catches are secondary. For the times you can't "scheme a guy open", you want some natural separation skills. Replacing Davis is thinking too small. Bills need to draft a guy to be the #1 because by the time he "gets it" in year 2, Diggs won't be a dominant #1. Think ahead, not behind. Then, by all means do draft another receiver in rounds 3-5 that has scary speed or high RAS.
  9. I think this $13 million simply eases the ability to get that handfull of $2-3 million one-year deals that fill holes and give you essential depth players.
  10. Multi-year plan to build a team? No. Quarterly earnings and CEOs with short-term thinking.
  11. Brave words, but you've earned my respect. Why not? Duper and Clayton (Miami) were drafted in rounds 2 and 8 respectively.
  12. If the Bills go Round 1 for DT (which is the popular position this week), is he a 3 or a 1, or a 3 who could play 1, etc.? Bills wouldn't draft a DT in round 1 unless they brought pass rush skills and you already have that in Oliver. Is there a true 1 tech that can also pass rush? If not, I don't love tackle in Rd 1.
  13. I think there is a lesson with Von regarding BIG money for an older player. He was an "all in" signing. Meanwhile, KC has found a way to be all in every year without signing Methuselah. Tre and Milano are young enough to have been worth a big contract- just bad luck.
  14. The Bills cap situation is real and is poor compared to the Chiefs. It will be tough to be 4 points better next year.
  15. I would give the deep arcing ball to Kelly. Also the short area touch passes and the quick slant throws. So, not Every respect.
  16. Was I wrong to appreciate the OL blocking equally? Also, OJ passes to Braxton at 4:47 on the video.
  17. She would just date a different, younger player.
  18. DaQuon Jones. He allows everything else to happen on D
  19. Every White Stripes song they play is one less Taylor Swift song they could play.
  20. He did a great job of getting more playmakers involved. Moved past forcing it to Diggs. Give him another receiver to work with and I'm good.
  21. You would have to sedate Beane for most of the first round for that to happen.
