  1. Now that we can stop the run, we only have the heat as our enemy.
  2. Love the positive mention of DaQuon.
  3. ...and miss out on seeing a butt-punt live on TV? No way!
  4. Absolutely. It's the line more than it is the RB's. Also, any assessment that is based on the "heat game" is skewed.
  5. Meaningful snaps for Cook. He trending up little by little. He'll be up and down in use but I looking forward to seeing where he is mid-year. Also enjoyed the Gilliam catches.
  6. The US Army, at least as far back as 1988, would modify training based on a heat index. Still, you would see heat exhaustion occasionally - soldiers getting dizzy, losing coordination, even getting listless. Include headache and nausea as common symptoms. Even in the days before red card and coddling, the ARMY took heat conditions very seriously. In my opinion, this was the case yesterday with many of the players right on the edge - motor skills, strength, cognitive, all being challenged. Allen's throw into the turf on the missed TD likely doesn't happen unless he's totally gassed. Maybe Davis make the football move and maybe Milano has better focus and intercepts the ball. Who knows............ I'm rather surprised that the heat management solutions aren't better - even for the visiting team.
  7. Josh is gonna cork their blow holes.
  8. Haven't found much on high/low box rules yet, but the Cover 1 segments have softened my critique. His sack and tip were great plays.
  9. He's good at other things, just surprised they called his number as a Blitzer. Homework assignment accepted.
  10. After destroying Star Wars and its cannon, Disney sets its sights on MNF with that awful split screen.
  11. Edmunds sack came unopposed with an open lane. I've never seen him do that fighting off a committed blocker. He's not a pass rusher. Lacks necessary hand fighting skills for one. Suppose it was a clever call to send him because it worked. As to his hit I'm not impressed or apologetic. Seems the better players impact the play early on rather than finish it late in that manner. Just my take.
  12. Pass rush. Especially if Oliver is back. Also think Buffalo knows how to reasonably cover Hill.
  13. Beneford with the nice strip. Kid made a few plays tonight.
  14. Got a feeling Buffalo is going to put an end to this idiot Miami buzz next week.
  15. I won't settle for less than 41
  16. I love seeing the Titans implode.
  17. Poyer making a case to get paid.
  18. Nice protection for Allen to make that TD happen. Good job big boys.
  19. Jackson or Patrick?
  20. He's a runner not a thumper. He's not a pass rusher. Only effective when he has a very clean lane. Instincts are average at best. Otherwise, there are things he can do - perhaps enough to make you love our non-traditional LB.
  21. Had the same issue. We'll see if they post it for later listening.
  22. Collinsworth still sucks. "He's (Josh) starting to figure out the game." "I feel like I'm watching Tom Brady". Then add a pathetic never-ending pre-scripted segment on Stafford's elbow while the game runs.
  23. This assumes the Rams fans are even paying attention. They're probably more focused on what flavor of seltzer to get.
  24. Agree. If I wanted skunky, I'd get Molson Golden.
  25. I'd say Poyer was saved by the culture more than he defined it. Additionally, his wife has argued salary on social media (something that indirectly reflects on Jordan). Poyer gets paid for his excellent play and less so because he's a Lorenzo Alexander or Kyle Williams. Still my favorite defensive player until I see someone overtake him. Probably the biggest hitter on D lb for lb.
