  1. Beggars can't be choosers. They'll take the first offer, as they know it could be the only offer. So, do not be surprised if BB offers a bag of beans, and they accept it.
  2. Wondering if we all here were pranked, and everyone knew about it in advance? Remember, never assume things with a bunch of jokers.
  3. Pegs just lost his negotiating power once it was named HighMark stadium. Should have accepted an offer from the sanitation department when they wanted to call it The Dump. No need for new funds or a new field now, since our stadium sounds so shiny and new.
  4. I like the name. Sounds like a football player. Get er done Beane.
  5. yawn....PFF rated him 89 out of 125 tackles
  6. I see it as mostly good, , but if Josh has a big injury on a rushing red zone attempt, then I am sure the Henry Armchair qb guys or Debby Doolittles will be all over those rushing play calls..
  7. There is good and bad for Josh in that 0 Red Zone statistic....The reason he has yet to throw an INT is because of designed play call, broken play or being more smart or cautious in the red zone, Josh will throw either mostly when the guy gets separation, has the ability to zing it in there before the wrs can react, or more often run himself than throw into very tight coverage, and like for very short and goal plays he on many times he'll try to run out of design or very confident ability to get a score this way with less risk. The good is less INT's will occur and more rushing TDSs because of this. The bad for QB stat lovers is he gets less passing TDS this way. He could have at least 6 more passing Tds a year if he or Bills coaching staff were willing to take more chances there, but getting points is the most important, so I have 0 problem with this approach, as long as it keeps working.
  8. Happy Birthday to Coach McD! Hope you enjoy your day today. Take a rest, you deserve it.
  9. And we should see this coming Too: Phillip Lindsay a Colorado Buffalo with Buffalo on helmet coming to Buffalo with Buffalo on helmet.
  10. Thinking Beane has something up his sleeve. Get us down and confused, then Bam. A big free agent signing. So big, that it makes what the Pats did look childish.
  11. Patient and deliberate Turtle Beane is going to win against that reckless hoodie Hare and those other teams that are jumping at every free agent they see.
  12. Hey BB. What's up with you? Did you have a bad dream again of Tommy and the Bills laughing at you?
  13. To the OP, at 12:00 Beane started working his tampering magic. You may not see it right now, but stay tuned! He likely has 10 phones in his Bills basement and they are all ringing off the hook, and each of his fingers picks up one, while he plays it cool balancing them all, sitting back in his recliner grinning and one by one telling each on the other end what it means to be Buffalo Bill, the financial terms required to be A Bill, and how he can help them succeed and be happy as a Buffalo Bill. Just wait and see, and assume our master magician is at work again This is far from over! Remember Beane never takes a minute off, much less than a day off. He works on Sundays too. He has a master plan, and will go step-by-step to achieve that.
  14. It was week 3 Last Year, the Bills playing home against St. Louis Rams. As I live out of state, I cannot watch the Bills games live so I use NFL Game Pass on my laptop to watch full replay after the game ends . Anyway, to pass the time while the Bills game was playing live, I listened on radio to the second half of another game in the state where I live, not expecting any updates about the Bills as I felt the broadcasting crew for that game would just focus on their own game. So, I am listening to that play by play of that game and it is now late in the 4th quarter of that game, when all of a sudden the analyst without warning, just after a play in their game, says something to the effect of: "Uh Oh. The Rams have been making a big comeback and just took the lead." So, instead of enjoying the upcoming Bills game, wondering how the Bills would do, I already knew by that remark that the Bills must have been leading the game big, and that the Bills were losing now with likely very little time left. I assumed then worst, that the Bills lost, so I never enjoyed on replay the first 3.5 quarters of the game, regardless of them getting up big and playing well earlier on. I did have excitement though those last few minutes though with JA's final TD drive, so at least I guess things could have been worse.
  15. Rex or Doug, can you please reply to this post about you. Thanks.
  16. I may get flack for this, by some here, but J Poyer has "courage." I respect this dude for admitting he was an alcoholic and for the strength as a man to admit that big sickness, wrong or weakness, to want to deal with issues in other ways, and to abstain from that and be more himself or a better person. I respect him far more than any wanne be tough guys who never admit such problems or blame everybody else for their ways. Let's call it like it is. Being an alcoholic is not cool. It kills, hurts others, and ruins families, and makes one look certainly not strong. It's a disease or sickness in ways, yes. It's never to late to accept help or get help. Until one has courage or strength to change, or the wisdom to admits the cold, hard truths about alcoholism, and to want to do something about it, there is less hope. It's one thing to have a drink or two on occasion, but when that eventually turns to more and more, and when one cannot stop doing it and keeps getting into problems because of it, do the right thing, if not for yourself then for others you care about, though yeah, that latter may rarely work if you don't want to stop for your own health, safety and sanity. Dudes, get stronger in other ways than that. Become stronger physically, mentally, socially, or whatever else, to cause life's tough issues be less scary. Congrats To JP for taking the steps to be a better, smarter, more caring and/or healthier man. You've already succeeded there.
  17. At least he is not ripped. Do not want that. Then Roger Goodie will test him.
  18. Sounds like Billy is dreaming of his glory days. Bring back the goat too while you are at it.
  19. The fins taking no prisoners to win the division. Beane needs to strike back quick, with a monster deal to top that.
  20. Wondering if the signs in the locker room were changed from Championship Caliber to Super Bowl Caliber yet..
  21. Finally, some Buffalo signing news! Let's keep this rollin' Beane. No stopping now! Or else I will keep searching for crazy exciting other news in the NFL like Watt soaking in a frozen hole in a pond, or searching for more of Bakers' UFO sightings.
  22. Great Question. Let's not get er done, until we know. If Beane ever would considers such a signing anyway, I feel he needs to get Kyle and Diggs' input if they have great relationship, so as to not otherwise disrupt team chemistry. I do not assume they got along, as personalities can clash on teams, and especially if that team was not winning or if a player left that team in a way that team may not have fully liked.
  23. Dion is now officially my favorite Buffalo Bill. Was leaning that way prior, because of his personality, efforts on the field and off, and for being the best teammate one could have asked for, but that letter was amazingly well written, done so from the heart, showing his caring nature, strength and wisdom, and speaking the truths, but doing so in a fair way that could make his family, and others who have made mistakes or been at the wrong place and time--proud too. Nobody is perfect, and we most could be where his brother is if the police knew of certain wrongs or mistakes, or if justice then did not give us a second chance or turn a blind eye. A little more common sense, fairness and compassion could go along way to making this a better place, for all. Too often wrong assumptions are made, and because of a lack of desire to get the whole, complete truth, but to spin, to fit the stereotypical belief.
