  1. I would too, but for personality types like Rosen, a healthy ego matters. If he turns out to be the worst of the fab four, when he said he'd be the best, no amount of money can erase that.
  2. I see a pattern here...Arizona, Miami, and soon the LIons. Then the Redskins, followed by the G-men, and then retirement. That was a nice career.
  3. “Tool Time” Allen, in reference to comedian Tim Allen’s Tool Time segments on that “Home Improvement” show. Allen has all tools to get the job done.
  4. Easiest question ever, as he brings excitement. He can do everything, and you never know what you will ever get. JA. Nobody else comes close.
  5. I know it cannot be in the Bills division, as he is still shaking in his cleats after the last time we played him. Giselle will never tolerate a rattling skeleton on her couch much longer.
  6. They probably were fighting about Josh Allen. Each wanted their daughters to marry him, so they could change allegiances then to the Bills, so they were playing rock, scissors, and paper, to settle the score.
  7. This guy has talent. He is a great comedian.
  8. Nope. Will be so fat and stuffed from early Thanksgiving smorgasbord that I may not be able to get any beer in me.
  9. Seems accurate to me. Allen better than Brady now. Hope Boy wonder retires. He is slipping.
  10. That does not matter. If he is dumb and unstable, he is really a genius. That is an alternative fact! Get er done Beane!
  11. I have the right to remain silent. Anything I say can and will say will be used against me in a court of public opinion.
  12. The NFL knows how to create schedules, with sequences.. W-W-W-L-W-W-L-W-(L) So, sorry Dudes, we are losing to the Brownies. Bet on it.
  13. Beasley cannot help it he was blown off his routes the last two games.
  14. Ok. Personally, I do not care where the lies, embellishment, sarcastic humor, secrecy and spinning without regards to the fact comes from. Spinning, embellishment, humor in bad taste, secrecy, and lies are harmful wherever it comes from. And the leader of this nation is normalizing that. Acting without integrity, and party before country, regardless if journalist, sports journalist, politician, or the average Jack and Jill, will mean the death to this supposedly greatest country, and in ways this country has already lost its soul because of it. Thanks to those without an education, and those with no morals, ethics and compassion. Those with selfish, greedy, and power grabbing interests, whichever party they come from.
  15. It sounds like you have a bit misplaced hostility. Sounds familiar.
  16. That is an easy question to answer. Anytime sports is used for either party’s agenda, like when sports teams are invited to, or show up to, the White House, when political advertisements on big scoreboards are used during games, when Presidents show up to big games to try to get positive media political attention , and when them or their supporters who put party over country, tweet or vocalize publicly political either negative or positive messages about sports related positions, players and teams, that is with purpose to create political sports journalism stories and messages, helpful to their cause. No wonder why fans are showing signs of getting fed up with political grandstanding using sports to spread their political media messages. The more it happens, the more sports fans will clap back and bite them in their rears as we have free speech after all too, and not just them, and we will show our displeasure in the stands, polls and through protests soon to if need be, not only against those journalists who are spreading distortions and lies, but against those politicians too who have agendas to take advantage of us all during mostly big sports moments or when it is convenient to them, to use sports to get more to side with their base.
  17. So you do not think Republicans use sports for their anti-liberal and pro-conservative talking points?
  18. So Eagles fans love giving Bills fans the bird? Can we give them some Buffalo chips in return?
  19. I am an optimistic fan. I look at the good, minimize the bad, and dream of better things to come.
  20. The only game changer we need is for Boy Wonder to retire. Then almost every team has a shot to make the playoffs except Miami, as with too big of names, you often sacrifice on the team elsewhere as there is only so much only to pay your team. NE is often without many big names. If it were not for Tommy taking pennies on the dollar year after year, to spread around to his Babes, for the sake of his team, they would be less successful. How many unselfish players are like that these days? I would rather have a team of many above average, hard working and unselfish players that buy into the system, than a few ‘I” or “me’ prima Donnas who divide the team. I suppose one might argue pick a nice and unselfish prima Donna. Unfortunately, that rarely exists.
  21. Your posts are usually spot on, but you are spot off for a few things here. I am going to give another side, as debate is how people really learn, and not by everyone agreeing... Bottom line is, the better team won. One can analyze as much as they want otherwise, how the Bills played very poorly, but does it ever occur that the reason the Bills played poorly is because the Eagles are really much better than the Bills? Heading into the season the Bills were ranked around 27 or 28,, and the Eagles I believe at #5. Just because the Bills were 5-1 and the Eagles 3-4, that sample is not big enough to drastically change the pre-season rankings, as other variables early on in the season come into play. The Bills easily could have lost most of their games. As for Allen, who says all rookie qbs have to be at the top of their game in year two? It was not long ago qbs were given 5 years to develop. Bill Polian said to give Josh up to 4 years I believe, if I remember correctly, as some qbs take longer to develop than others, because of raw talent, their college competition level and system they played, the current system, and so on. I see Josh taking steps to improve his short to medium game throws, his footwork, and decision making. Yes, there are still hiccups there, but to be down on Allen, when the last 3 games he has committed 6 TDS and 1 INT, any critique is a bit unjustified, based on the mentioned. The Bills team need not apologize to anyone. Simply put they “likely” played their best. learned from any mistakes, and got beaten by the better team. Before the season, only a fool would have said the Bills should definitely beat the Eagles. The fact the Bills got blown out is more a reflection on how good the Eagles can be, and not how bad the Bills are. Since when can a team other than the Patriots not lose a game like this. No apologies are needed to me by the Bills, as I have faith in where they are headed. Trust the Process. Do not jump to conclusions when a game goes against unreasonable expectations, based on falsehoods, and not reality. And the reality is the Bills are likely not a 11-5 or 12-4 or better team, as we still have defensive line, wr, holes, and a qb who just needs more time to fix some tendencies or flaws. Some may have hyped the team too much based on the record, not taking into consideration how hard it was for us to win those games, and taking into account who we won against. We have yet to a great game, for more than a half for any game. This tells me the Bills despite their record and lofty predictions about their D, they still are not guaranteed any wins against easy teams,, much less against teams that were forecasted to be the cream of the crop. We lost fair and square, despite likely giving it our all. It’s time Bills fans not overreact to such rarer losses. It is what is is.
  22. The reason I do not get upset at an “occasional” loss, or with this loss in particular is because: (1) I do not have expectations that are unrealistic. I do not expect the Bills to win all home games or all non-New England games. I expected the Bills to lose about 6 or 7 this year. This likely still will happen. (2) I expect on any given Thursday, Sunday or Monday there to be upsets, as not always does the better team win, and this is because of mistakes, wrong calls, bad luck, injuries, bad weather, momentum, slightly more motivation. etc. (3) People often assume that if a team loses, they did not give either the effort or they think the coaching decisions were awful. Not always. For many losses, the team could have played their best, orbhad sound game plans, but that other team just played better. Those who critique “every loss” are unrealistic. Most games have 3 point spreads. It is hard winning in this now parity league. (4) For blowout losses, I feel better for those than close losses. If we get our rears kicked, then maybe more lessons will be learned, and any over confidence prior, be now tamed. (5) Yes, we had had like 17 years of no playoffs, before heading there 2 years ago, so I get any frustration, here we go again, or victim mentality. But, I have faith in McD and Beane, and where we are heading. Getting to the playoffs that first year under them, and heading in that direction again this year, I have bought in. Making the playoffs seems like an obtainable goal this year, based on our weaker schedule, and record. And winning a playoff game is realistic too, if we gel as a team, get some luck, learn from things. (6) I do not care if we beat bad teams or great teams, nor the score, as long as we win enough games and get to the playoffs. I do not care what the media thinks about us, otherwise. Do you think New England’s image is tainted from beating up on the AFC East year after year? Nobody cares at years end who beat who, and how they looked in their Wins. All they care about is wins and losses, at seasons end. (7) Whenever the Bills lose I focus on something good about the team, or some good about a player or group of players For this game, I focused on Allen. I did not focus on his fumble, low completion percentage, or low yardage. I focused on his two more TD passes, and 0 INTs. In the last 3 games, he is 6TDs, 1 INT there. (8) Most players and coaches are likely trying their absolute best each game. Critiquing them too much thus seems to serve no purpose. Some players are just not as good as others, or it takes them longer time to learn. They have families too. And they are likely their worst critics, for if they mess up. No need to pile on. (9) If all else fails, I use Humor. This does not mean I do not get a little down after a loss, but within minutes I am over it, because of positive thinking, or from using some humor. (10) There are other things in life to be happy about, when our expectations for a game fails to materialize. Life is as happy as we want it to be. (11) Next week, Washington will be toast.
