I highly doubt it, but if so, then the onus is on the coaches and training staff to ID it and tell him he can’t go. But given the rockets I’ve seen him throw in the weeks Allen got dropped and fell on that throwing shoulder, I doubt it’s a physical problem. The dude is checked out mentally. I have no idea why and not going to pretend I do like everyone else on this board.

Should Dorsey come down to the sidelines?

It does not matter. -
Absolutely happy for him as well. Way to recognize, even though I am a bigger fan of Cook’s game.

Those may not be in the store but your general observation is correct - NewEra has fallen off a cliff in recent years. I don’t know if they’ve just run out of ideas or if they’re letting AI design hats to save money, but most things out of them are putrid recently.

pretty much yes - the absence of the AFL in the NFL pre-merger means the two do not equate today.
-
Doesn’t the QB need to be under duress for intentional grounding to apply? Edit: Yep - not the right call Allen was not under immediate pressure. You’re wrong.

Buy: Kincaid and Douglas Sell: J. Phillips. Looks washed. Hold: Linval and Fournette.

Pre-merger “NFL” is not the NFL.

$18 million a year huh? I’m sure Terry would totally do that.
-
No way to really know for sure unless you have some clocked runs from this year too to compare. Personally I highly doubt his straight line speed and acceleration has decreased significantly in 2 or 3 years if we assume his playing weight as constant over that period of time. It’s more likely what you’re seeing with regard to him looking slower getting around the edge of the D line is Allen keeping his head up and looking downfield for a passing option for a longer period of time, instead of just accelerating and taking off.

Kinda funny if the Bills would’ve said that, since they aren’t a criminal court and that evidentiary standard doesn’t apply to them at all. I couldn’t give less of a **** about Araiza either way, but this isn’t even close to the truth. There were a multitude of things that went into the prosecution’s decision not to pursue charges. The alleged victim was a trainwreck and not the least bit credible by witness standards. Multiple people disputed the alleged victim’s account, including people who know and did not know Araiza. Cell phone data and videos also contradicted her accounts, including her assertion that Araiza was present inside the house during the gang assault.

It’s not completely absurd in the abstract, but when you take into account respective contracts, etc… yeah it’s never happening

I have no idea what this post has to do with your thread title, but to that - why not both?

I agree 100% the Bears stink. I don’t really understand this move either, they must really love the guy.
-
Well that’s the rub - waiting for free agency potentially puts you in a bidding war for the guy, but trading a high asset for him to avoid that just gives the player more leverage in negotiation, since the GM would be skewered/fired for giving away a 2nd rd pick for a rental.

NFL Scheduler Really Hated the Bills this Year

apparently football is rocket science for QB Josh Dobbs

Hey we good for something! -
I’m also not opposed to him playing this week - I’m not opposed to giving him the week off either, for the reasons you stated. Just saying he’s not a 23 year old man cover guy they’re trying to convert. Douglas probably has a lot of base knowledge of concepts coming in.
-
He’s a zone corner. There’s only so much complexity to that and he’s well versed coming in.

None of us really have time to play in the fantasyland of your mind where you think you know the business of football wherein you state, in the very first sentence of this thread “Obviously the Bills tried to trade him.” All I tried to tell you was no, that’s possible, but not obvious. Not to everyone. And all reports since then suggest that you were dead wrong, and now you can’t accept that. Know who else acts that way? Children. Edit: and since we all now know Beane is a liar since his statement didn’t align to JMM’s baseless assertion, why not supply some secondary sources from the NFL rumor mill or insiders? Did any of them report prior to the trade deadline actual team interest in Elam that the Bills were listening to and considering? Were there picks or other compensation discussed? Cuz I didn’t see any.
