Dawkins is a good LT. he’s proven that. What he was paid (and it wasn’t as “average”) is just market standard.

Problem is there aren’t many alternative FBs floating around nowadays, and even if there were readily available cheaper replacements, none of them would be able to come in off the street after cuts and learn the system and do all the things that Gilliam does for them right away.

1. yes they serve a purpose: owners can charge a full price ticket to see practice football. 2. yes. You evaluate talent in practice (training camp.) you can also do joint practices with other teams, which everyone already does, and I have no problem with. preseason games probably had their worth, way back in the day. Similar to your appendix. Now they suck and they’re horrible football and they’re are ONLY there so owners can get their home game gates in.

I don’t disagree with that. But the other poster I was replying to saying “they both looked fine. Keep them both,” that wasn’t the case and that isn’t happening.

Keep both on the active roster? No chance. One will be sent to the practice squad sure. Whether or not they stay there or get scooped up is another question.

We won’t know his exact reason unless he decides to talk about it but yeah the OL depth was mostly what I was saying stinks yes.
