  1. Many of Beane’s picks made plays last night. Allen gave the game away.
  2. well, it doesn’t. I’ll adjust my concern when the games start counting.
  3. Agree and I think it’s a bit difficult to judge Allen’s performance what with penalties sabotaging drives all over the place on Saturday.
  4. Funny because even though all these teams refuse to pay these guys, the Colts will now turn around and demand an arm and a leg in trade compensation.
  5. Jesus. There are no “schemes” in preseason. If you are bumping this stale thread to bang your drum at least understand what’s going on.
  6. So because you’re not the GM, you seem content to B word without offering any sort of solution? Edit: I’m asking because they can only do so much in the offseason. The O guard play last year was terrible too - they brought in McGovern and drafted Torrence. All you [censored] expect miracles from the front office every year. It doesn’t work like that.
  7. Hey! Torrence might be good. Or not
  8. remind me which oppo team you’re a fan of again? Was it Pats or Phins?
  9. What’s your proposed solution? Given your level of CONCERN
  10. Dawkins is a good LT. he’s proven that. What he was paid (and it wasn’t as “average”) is just market standard.
  11. lol. Point to some plays where white has looked ‘cooked’ beyond the first couple games where he came back. Dawkins has “always sucked”? Show me some metrics on that as well.
  12. I mean maybe? Fingers crossed indeed because they have a big problem in the middle of that defense. Dodson is not the answer.
  13. first we’ll need to know your level of CONCERN on the TBD concern-o-meter. Are you at 6.5 or above? Better address that soon! Less than 6? Might get by this season…
  14. lol. Still trying to adjust to that generation of mediocrity staring you in the face and awaiting you huh? Spite is a bad look chief. almost all of those flags in the 1st half were legit penalties.
  15. he probably should have, yes. Too late now
  16. Problem is there aren’t many alternative FBs floating around nowadays, and even if there were readily available cheaper replacements, none of them would be able to come in off the street after cuts and learn the system and do all the things that Gilliam does for them right away.
  17. 1. yes they serve a purpose: owners can charge a full price ticket to see practice football. 2. yes. You evaluate talent in practice (training camp.) you can also do joint practices with other teams, which everyone already does, and I have no problem with. preseason games probably had their worth, way back in the day. Similar to your appendix. Now they suck and they’re horrible football and they’re are ONLY there so owners can get their home game gates in.
  18. completely against it but I’m one of those that want to see preseason games eliminated altogether.
  19. I think ESPN has been slowly circling the drain for a while now. Rumor has it Bob Iger is also beginning to realize this.
  20. I don’t disagree with that. But the other poster I was replying to saying “they both looked fine. Keep them both,” that wasn’t the case and that isn’t happening.
  21. Keep both on the active roster? No chance. One will be sent to the practice squad sure. Whether or not they stay there or get scooped up is another question.
  22. We won’t know his exact reason unless he decides to talk about it but yeah the OL depth was mostly what I was saying stinks yes.
