  1. His Instagram was even better: If there is anything that my 11 years in the league has taught me it is to always expect the unexpected. I never expected to become a Buffalo Bill and I never expected to fall in love with the city and the amazing fans. However, that is exactly what happened. I would like to thank the entire Buffalo Bills organization, Terry and Kim Pegula, Coach McDermott, Brandon Beane, Doug Whaley, Anthony Lynn and Rex Ryan. It has been my pleasure and honor to take the field and represent the proud Buffalo franchise. We shared some great moments together and you guys will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you to all my teammates that went to battle with me each and every week. I am going to miss the amazing atmosphere and wonderful #billsmafiafans the most! With that being said, I am excited and overjoyed to be continuing my career in Kansas City! The chase continues...
  2. My only final roster complaints are that we need to fix the CB/S depth and replace the punter. CB went from a position of great depth to one that is very shaky. Why the H do we have SIX safeties and only four CBs, two of whom are injury prone and the other two having been temporarily knocked out of the third preseason game? It seems highly questionable/concerning from any point of view. I think you have a hard time justifying Conor McDermott or Dean Marlowe over a capable fifth corner. I just keep going back... three CBs on the field on most plays. Two safeties. So let's go with four CBs and SIX safeties on the final roster... makes no sense?
  3. your mom is the enemy
  4. Like most Bills fans, I am blindly obsessed with Duke Williams and will be full of anguish should he not reach the practice squad.
  5. This is surprising not so much from a football standpoint but from a PR standpoint. I'm not sure how players/agents will be able to trust Beane going forward. He was pretty emphatic in his guarantees that Shady would be here. I guess Shady and Gore really were in a competition for the job.
  6. lol! What the H... that's not me... ROFL I could be wrong, but I think this often happens when players feel their injury is not season-ending and they want a chance elsewhere. Seems like it might be applicable here.
  7. Look for Love to be waived with an injury settlement at some point.
  8. Why does our defense have to pitch a shutout?
  9. I just wanted to thank you for calling him Mayfield instead of Baker thanks
  10. The laughing reaction is a positive one. It's hilariously great that you spent this much time researching this. My favorite part was "or cancellation..." lol
  11. What was interesting to me is that CBS didn't seem to care about this game. FOX, for its dress rehearsal game, had the whole studio crew on-site, a nice production, and Aikman and Buck announcing. CBS went low budget with a subpar crew and no studio bodies.
  12. I am very confused about what's going to happen with these receivers. It's hard to read into all of the pieces of evidence as they all seem to conflict with each other.
  13. I just made the call. I didn't feel like arguing or lying about my intentions, so I just asked for the CLG group and if they could offer me any deals on Sunday Ticket. They said they didn't have Sunday Ticket available, but they took $40 off my bill for 12 months and waived my $25 receiver charge. This is in addition to an existing $25 off for 12 months, so my bill is now $12.99 per month. lol
  14. Does anyone find it interesting in any way that McD chose peach as his flavor of choice?
  15. I could go for a twist in a waffle cone right about now. Is this the old "FlaFitz" from BBMB? I don't recall a walk in Seattle specifically, but I remember that year a picture of Mularkey with tubs full of cheeseburgers from McDonald's. They'd have them on every road trip. Some other coach in the league had suggested it to Mularkey.
  16. McKenzie has popped so much during the games, not only in the preseason but also in the regular season last year. At this point it would seem rather foolish to let him go. He's a very dangerous weapon on offense AND special teams. You have a primary X, a primary Y, and a primary slot, and you have backups for all three. Some teams will keep a 7th receiver as a specialist. This is what I would do if I were the Bills... X: Brown, Foster Y: Jones, Williams Slot: Beasley, McKenzie Specialist: Roberts I actually think this is a position on the roster where the Bills need to keep an extra player. It is not unheard of to keep 7, especially when you have such a great specialist in Roberts and you have so many unique skill sets that you don't want to lose. You might even see McCloud and Phillips on the practice squad, too!
  17. This is rather concerning. After what Wade has put on tape, it wouldn't be entirely shocking if some other team picks him up on waivers.
  18. Whoa! How interesting is that red helmet, white jersey, blue pants look?! Crazy
  19. I'm pretty sure the home team does, because that's why the Dolphins, for example, always wear white when it's hot and make the visiting team wear their dark colors.
