I think that in today’s offense the ball comes out so quickly that the traditional edge rusher is becoming a relic much like the hike stuffing middle linebacker. By the time an edge pushes upfield and curls into the QB, the ball is gone. Instead, today’s game requires a strong push up the middle to collapse the picket, forcing the QB to essentially roll out of the pocket and into a sack.

I think Chad has played himself onto a team this preseason. He has looked sharp.

Unnecessarily roughness against Cleveland on Chad Kelly. Fortunately it was just a blow to the head.

My optimism doesn’t stem from a preseason win. It stems from how the offense and defense looked. The offense was crisp. Everyone was on the same page. The pocket was, for the most part, clean. The routes were precise. Allen got the ball out quickly and accurately. The defense applied pressure. Coverage was tight. They are SO FREAKING FAST. They were able to impose their will on the Panthers. That at is what I liked. They weren’t a dumpster fire. They looked like a good football team.

I might be in the minority, but with Brown, Beasley, and Jones - with Roberts as WR/ST guy, I would almost rather finish the room off with Duke and Sills. Good players will not make the team this year. I won’t be too upset if Foster is on the outside looking in.

After Kraft, cut out all Johnson and Johnson products. Only then will you be a true fan.

The main reason I would love to see Murphy improve this year and our D Line become dominant is because Tom Brady has won 11% of all Super Bowls played. Long term, I want the Bills to win. Short term, I would love to see Mr Brady put in the dirt.

I agree with this 90% of the time. However, every now and then a “true” true #1 comes along. A guy who is a team player AND a great receiver. The Texans’ #10 and the Falcons’ #11 are two true #1 receivers that I would love to have. The AB types? Suck it.

I don’t know if anybody has mentioned this yet (and I’m too lazy to read the whole thread) but Reuben Brown made more ProBowls than Thurman, Reed, Kelly, and Simpson. Only Smith has made more ProBowls. But guards aren't sexy.

People are talking about Chris crushing on Josh. I think I am developing a crush on Chris after watching that clip. I feel like maybe I’m that duckling that accidentally imprinted on the chihuahua.

Oliver from the moment he started walking down the hallway all pumped, clapping his hands, and chanting “Let’s Go!” at the draft. However, if Cole’s Twitter was still banging, he would be giving Ed a run for his money.

We fans might have Foster ahead of Zay Jones on our depth charts, but I doubt that is the case with McD and company. I have a feeling Zay is a more “lock” and that he will see much more playing time than Foster throughout the season.

We need to take these points into consideration when we form our opinion of Star L. Is he overpaid because he isn’t hitting the QB, or is he paid just right because he moves the pocket and indirectly pressures the QB?
