  1. They should absolutely make his a priority re-signing!! They are so much better against the run when he's in the game and he gets pressures allowing players like Oliver freer to rush the passer. Only wish he would get the love he deserves rather than looking for love... HEY GUYS!! I GOT THE BALL!! Hey guys? Guys? Hello? Guys? Anyone? I need a hug... (Credit - Jeffrey Barnes Photo)
  2. Motor should get named again after his effort yesterday - for at least 3 of his carries!! He trucked a number of Falcons on the day!! I'm so glad Dabold FINALLY started to feature him (as I said for weeks they should). The biggest beast on the team is the smallest guy in this picture!! Photo credit - Jeffrey Barnes
  3. “Very frustrating. There’s people’s livelihoods at stake in terms of, you know, people’s jobs ... our performance is judged off of wins and losses or how well a person does ‘X’ or ‘Y’ and some of that is dependent upon other members of the team. That’s why this is a team game. Being able to count on people is important."
  4. Exactly. They gave the backs zero chances in the first half and be being so out of balance they were getting killed. Daboll's reasoning was simply Tampa has a top 2 run defense. However, when they did give it to the backs in the 2nd have, albeit a limited number of times, Motor went for 52 yards on only 4 carries and Breida gained 12 on 3 carries. That's a pathetic 7 carries for an outstanding 64 yards and an average of 9.1 yards per pop!! Daboll was an offensive genius and daring last season. This season he's somewhere between trying to be too smart and coaching scared!!
  5. Agreed!! I was looking at some rushing stats and for as much and some think Motor isn't and can't be the answer I fully believe his lack of overall production (total yards and TDs) is due to the dumb rotation Daboll uses. Motor out played Moss all season yet they consistently gave Moss more snaps and carries each week until recently. In yards per carry Motor is 9th - take out Allen, Jackson and Hurts he's 6th but only has 112 carries. The top 10 in rushing yards have on average carried the ball 204 times so far this season. If he had 204 carries he's got 996 yards which would place him 3rd behind Taylor, Mixon and ahead of Cook. On times stuffed per carry he's 13th - he's only been stuffed 8 times on 112 carries. In yards per carry in the 2nd half of games he's 7th. Yards per carry in the 4th quarter he's 4th. On his first 10 carries of a game he has the 11th. He has no fumbles inside the Bills or the opponents 20 yard line. They talked about going with the hot hand at RB yet for some unknown reason they gave Moss the bulk of the work instead of the more productive back. Motor has been doing this behind a less than stellar and at times banged up O-line. If they had a couple of true road graders who run block consistently and effectively plus actually gave him the rock regularly I don't think anyone would be talking about RB being a need. They should relegate Moss on the bench, feature Singletary and spell him with Breida they rest of the season.

  7. I'm not sure which team is better overall but I am sure Ferguson > Cardona so the Bills have go that going for them.
  8. Before yesterday Fournette had 3 TDs on the season - Singletary has two. Fournette gets the ball in the Redzone - The Bills would give it to Moss.
  9. This and I would add feature him the way Tampa is featured in TB. Motor is averaging 4.7 ypc while Fournette is averaging 4.5 Motor has only 98 carries while Fournette has 139 If they had given Motor the ball only as much as Tampa gives it to Fournette - instead of unexplainably giving more snaps and carries to Moss - just the 4 extra carries per game they were giving Moss - Motor would have 655 yards. That would make him 9th in the league among all backs - ahead of Fournette, Gordon III, Ekler, Gibson, Aaron Jones, Conner, Swift, Dillion....
  10. Take it for what it's worth - according to PFF Jon Feliciano has a 59.1 rating, Daryl Williams is 65.3, Ike Boettger is 56.3, Cody Ford has a rating of 49 and James Ferentz scores a 48.5
  11. After the debacle that was the loss to the Jags - in games they both played in so subtracting the Steelers game. Against Miami Moss had 8 carries and averaged 3.3 ypc - Motor 11 carries and averaged 6.3 ypc WFT - Moss 13 with a 4.6 ypc average - Motor 11 with a 2.9 ypc avg Houston - Moss 14 with a 4.4 avg - Motor 14 with a 5.6 avg KC - Moss 11 for an avg of 3.4 ypc - Motor 6 for an avg of 4.2 Titans - Moss 8 with a 3 ypc avg - Motor 5 totes and a 5.4 avg In the last Miami contest Moss had 8 carries with a 2.4 avg - Motor had 7 carries witha 4 avg. Jags - Moss 3 for 6yds a 2.0avg and barely passing GPA - Motor 6 for 16 with a 2.7 So thats Moss with 65 carries and an average of 3.6 while Motor has 62 and averages 4.7 ypc On the season among all RBs with at least 50 carries Motor's average of 54.9 is 8th (tied with Elliot) while Moss's average of 3.6 has him tied for 39th!! Snap Counts over those 7 games? Moss 18, 44, 46, 42, 42, 47 and 19 for a total of 258 - Motor 43, 34, 32, 19, 35, 25 and 48 for a total of 236 Side notes: Moss has exactly one carry over 10 yards while Singletary has 5 games with a carry longer than 10 yards and 9 carries of 10 or more yards on the season Motor has caught 21 of his 27 passing targets - 77.8% Moss has caught 18 of his 25 targets - 72% So Motor can't catch? Let the Motor run!!!!
  12. I have been saying for weeks I don't understand the coaches' love affair with Moss! He consistently gets more snaps and carries while underperforming Motor's production. Give Motor consistent carries and snaps - platoon a little - but feature him!!
  13. Retired from the NFL and working for USC (Gamecocks not Trojans) as an analyst
  14. This signing has nothing to do with Darnold's play and everything to do with the fact he has an incomplete fracture of his right shoulder blade and is likely to miss several weeks.
  15. Sorry - while Allen has been great - Taylor had games of 169 yards from srimmage and 2 TDs, 158 and 2 TDs, 110 and 1 TD plus a game of 122 with a TD In his last 5 games he's had over 100 yards from scrimmage and at least 1 TD - no one has done that since Tomlinson did it in 2006 when he had 6 straight.
  16. I'm sure someone may have pointed this out but the reason the had those two inactive is because they wanted to be able to rotate 5 DTs in an effort to stop Henry. Epenesea has flashed and considering what he had to deal with last season he's come a long way. Basham has also flashed. Moss is not slightly better than Singletary and I don't figure out why he gets more snaps than Motor. However, that's a coaching issue not a front office one. Just going through year by year Allen and Edmunds were very good picks. Landing a solid DT, albeit with some injury issues, Harrison and one of the best starting nickles in the league in the 3rd and 4th rounds plus depth and special teams player Neal in the 5th is a very good draft. Teller turned into a pro bowl guard but for a different team while McCloud is a very good return specialist for the Steelers. How is class not a drafting success? Oliver has been good not great but he's been the best DT from his draft class plus was forced to play out of position last year. Ford does look like a bust right now. Singletary and Knox are very solid selections in the 3rd round. Joseph was a gamble, high risk, no reward because he went on IR and was released before taking a snap for the Bills but he was a 5th - oh well. Juquan Johnson has been solid on special teams and when his number has been called but buried behind Hype and Poyer. Darryl Johnson was taken in the 7th and before being traded for a 6th he was excellent on special teams and if the Bills weren't as deep as they are at DE he would be featuted in their rotation. Tommy Sweeney is the other 7th round pick and when available has a been a good blocker and good on special teams. Not sure what else you would want from this class? The 2000 draft class had it tough and had to deal with an unprecedented season. Still, as it's been said, Epenesa has flashed this year and has the quickest get off of any DE according to Next Gen Stats. Moss has been solid in his rotational roll. Davis was a huge surprise when asked to fill in for Brown last year and his 599 yards was 5th among all rookie WRs and his 7 TD catches was 2nd. He would have a bigger role this year if not for Sanders. Fromm was their "Covid QB" and couldn't practice with the team and is now on the Practice Squad. Bass has been MONEY!!! Hodgins missed last season with an injury is on the practice squad this year. Dane Jackson is their back up to Wallace. While it's too early to judge, especially because of the unique circumstances they had to go through, this class looks solid top to bottom. As for this year's class way to early to judge but of their first 3 selections 2 are starting and the 3rd has been solid in his rotational role. While the rest of the class had an up hill climb to even sniff the roster due to how deep Beane made it through the draft, free agency and trades.
  17. Looks like the Fins "Tank for Tua" strategy didn't go as planned and now they want to trade for a guy (giving up multiple high picks) that will not onlu eat up their salary cap space but could very well be looking at not only a suspension but potentially jail time. Brilliant move!! Pull the trigger already Chris Grier!!!
  18. My fault - I had Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower and Corona Light Never again - Hot wings and Labatt Blue from now on.
  19. What I don't understand is the use of Moss over Motor. In the five games they both played Motor has been the overall more effective only to typically get fewer carries and snaps. Against Miami Moss had 8 carries and averaged 3.3 ypc - Motor 11 carries and averaged 6.3 ypc WFT - Moss 13 with a 4.6 ypc average - Motor 11 with a 2.9 ypc avg Houston - Moss 14 with a 4.4 avg - Motor 14 with a 5.6 avg KC - Moss 11 for an avg of 3.4 ypc - Motor 6 for an avg of 4.2 Titans - Moss 8 with a 3 ypc avg - Motor 5 totes and a 5.4 avg Over those 5 games thats Moss with 54 carries and an average of 3.9 while motor has 49 and averages 4.4 ypc Snap Counts over those 5 games? Moss 18, 44, 46, 42 and 42 for a total of 192 - Motor 43, 34, 32, 19 and 35 for a total of 163 Shouldn't those snap counts be at least reveresed? I don't understand what happened to "going with the hot hand" as the coaches stated they would. A couple side notes: Moss has exactly one carry over 10 yards Motor has caught 13 of his 18 targets - 72.2% Moss has caught 10 of his 14 targets - 71.4%
  20. I didn't "Reid" through all of the responses BUT Ferguson was signed in 2016
  21. Ed Oliver not only gets a sack but he combines with Star to hold Henry under 80 yards plus adds a pair of stops for a loss.
  22. How the heck are we losing when the last round we had more votes that the Browns and Broncos combined!!! Come on VOTE PEOPLE!!! Oh please keep the poltical BS out of it... If we lose its because AND ONLY BECAUSE we didn't turn out to vote!!
