  1. Bills have the QB to make a run. Not sure the defense is good enough to get out of the AFC. Also, sadly they don't have the coach to do it.
  2. That play to throw to the back may have been scripted just to set up other stuff later. JA has no pressure so there is no reason for the dump off other than that was the plan all the way. Sure looks like something they should try again but the problem is Davis doesn't have the speed Sander has. If you try that with Diggs the safety probably rotates over. Davis is fast enough and he blocks down field well. So you may get the corner to bite if JA fakes a pass to the flat first at the same time Davis does a stop and go.
  3. Me too but they have worked that pass for a TD to Diggs earlier this year. I still hate the call. I like options. Bucs pass rush was gassed. They should have moved the pocket or let Josh scan the field. Anyways, on to Carolina and McDermott's last hope of salvaging this season
  4. Sanders has been getting open consistently this season. Allen has missed him a few times. All great QBs make their WRs better. I have no problem letting Davis get more reps. But, lets keep the focus where is should be. The oline is terrible, Edmunds is the worst player on defense, and McDermott is a gutless fraud. McDermott for as much as I want him gone is not going anywhere. Beane can address the oline and they can trade Edmunds to someone the unsuspecting team that will say for three years he is young.
  5. WR, TE, Safety, and OLB/punter/kicker is a wash. The problem is their biggest strength is our greatest weakness. They run well and Bills cant defend run.
  6. Did you see how tired Diggs was at the end of that game. This is not a good thing. Sanders is a good player. Yes I want Davis to get more action but missing Sanders is not good for the WR group.
  7. I'm not anti-balance. But I'm sure people said the same thing in 1982 when San Francisco was throwing 3 yard put patterns to the full back instead of running the ball. There are numerous ways to win in the NFL. Had one break gone the Bills way on the final drive no one would be talking about how much Allen passed the ball
  8. Any team that chooses to run the ball against the Bills has done it with relative ease. Yes the Bills made some nice stops. But they gave up long TD run and Edmunds couldn't stop Fournette in the hole despite having a free shot at him 2 yards into the backfield. Edmunds is awful and the run defense is awful and this coaching staff is a joke.
  9. Yes you are missing the fact that winning is the biggest problem for this team now.
  10. That is good scheme. Best way to stop Gronk was always to cover him with CB. He's too fast for a LB. And he is bigger than everyone anyways. Dane was good enough to be CB#2 or at least solid depth. Levi has been solid all year too. If they both come back it will give insurance that White can recover fully before being pressed into action.
  11. Its an interesting question. At what point is a hobbled Allen less likely to generate a win than a healthy Trubisky? Any time they play an injured starter at any position you have to wonder if the backup would be better simply because they are healthy. My guess is if Allen can walk he plays.
  12. It doesn't matter. They will be lucky to just be competitive against Carolina. If Allen can't play they will struggle to win 1 game down the stretch. The season was over in the snow last Monday
  13. Don't see it. They left everything on the field today and couldn't get it done. The players saw McDermott fake a punt and then punt on 4th and 3 down 14. They have no faith in this clown of a HC. My guess is 2-2.
  14. Yeah I agree with the OP. Daboll called a great game but I think his red zone calls were bad again. Too many calls where the pass was predetermined to go one place and one place only. The Bucs were gassed and had no pass rush at that time. Letting Josh sit back and find the open guy was the right call or even a run I would have been fine with. Not a big fan of the fade or even back shoulder that is predetermined to only go to one guy. Same thing on the 3rd down in OT. That was a one man route to Diggs no matter if he was covered or not.
  15. I thought so too in the moment but the replay showed the ball was thrown pretty far wide of where Diggs was
  16. Most people missed it during the game and the broadcast crew missed it too. He was rolled up on and grabbed his ankle on the first TD drive. My guess he has a high ankle and gutted his way through the rest of the game. He's a man and a winner unlike the gutless HC.
  17. You don't know that. And it wasn't Frazier that punted on 4th and 3. McDermott is a loser and coaches like a loser. Allen is the only reason this game was close. McDermott cost us the season. And he will never get it done.
  18. 3rd and 1 and Edmunds came up small. When we needed a man a boy showed up. Please trade him. Some dumb GM will give a first rounder for this guy
  19. Not true. When the WR caught the ball it was right in the middle of the field where Edmunds is supposed to excel according to this board. He ***** the bed again
  20. It should only have confirmed the fact Allen is a MVP candidate. All other questions persist. Well maybe Dane Jackson is a viable CB#2
  21. Bills WRs are gassed but so are the Tampa pass rushers
