You are forgetting the context. Hopkins was traded for a RB and a 2nd round pick. Most would agree Hopkins is a top 2 or 3 WR and Diggs was more in the 5-10 range. I think most thought a first round pick was fair but when compared to how little Arizona gave up the question was asked if Buffalo outpriced the market. The consensus among almost everyone on this board was the Bills paid a fair price and the Texans got fleeced.
Base defense is a 4-2-5. There is rarely a third linebacker on the field. So far neither opponent has been able to run the ball against the Bills nickel. Dodson has no place to start if Milano is healthy. But he might rotate into the game for a few plays.
I would have taken away 3 carries from Moss and give them to Josh. This week maybe make it closer to 5 or 7 more carries. Donald is a beast and getting Josh outside will be wise.
One trick pony? He threw for over 4000 yards and 20 TD his rookie year. That would be double what Allen did his rookie year. He has been a top 10 QB when healthy and endured hits in and outside the pocket that no other QB took.
It remains to be seen if he can keep up this pace, but Cam going to New England keeps them competitive.
I see no reason Buffalo can't go 6-0 in the division. Patriots are probably a bit smoke and mirrors right now with a little bit of unknown how to play against Cam.
He seems like it but other Patriot assistants have looked good early only to fail when they did not have Brady and Belichick. Still early. Only questionable move was the challenge on Diggs sideline catch. It cost him a timeout that could have been needed. If memory serves that was only second down so even if overturned would not have forced a punt.
I like the rotation even without the heat. I doubt there is a big difference between Ford, Winters, Nsekhe, and Williams at the guard and OT spots. Any combination will probably work.
Newton is playing well but Buffalo has a better roster. They both have difficult schedules. Both defenses are strongest in the secondary. Bills WR group is far better. Injuries and head to head will decide the division.
Have not worked out ...
Pederson won a SuperBowl
McVay got his team to a SuperBowl
Shanahan got his team to a SuperBowl
Gase is total garbage no argument there
McD is 0 and 2 in the playoffs.
Daboll will be on some short lists if Bills keep playing well. He has Belichick and Nick Saban ties so he will get a look if he keeps doing well from both college and pro teams. I might be more worried about a college team given the more recent ties to Saban
Chandler why do you attack everyone that has a different opinion. The stat line read 28 points and no turnovers. I pointed out two of the three sacks you mentioned in your stats.
Since you are a moderator I suspect you will not get any points assigned to you for calling another poster a fool. If I did that to you I would get banned for 5 days. Inappropriate behavior that will not be addressed.
Maybe it was a shot at CBS for losing the network feed
Could have been some industry inside joke
Media loves Buffalo when the Bills win
Beat LA and all is well
Bad coaching. Seattle 3rd and 1 was terrible call. Not calling time out after Edelman catch along sideline cost them two shots at endzone.
Cam then misses TD to Edelman.
Last play Seattle is selling out. Any fake run their scores easily and as others said a 5 WR set is also a walk in TD.
NFL is about doing the ordinary consistently and the amazing a few times a game. Davis makes a ridiculous catch. Wilson throws gping backwards while jumping in the air to convert a 3rd down. Amazing!
I was worried they would not get enough targets but so far Daboll is dialing up a ton of throws to them. At some point the opponents will start playing more two deep zone and it will open up some opportunities for Knox/Kroft and the backs.
Beasley is also making the most of his opportunities with more intermediate throws than last year.
