I think this must have been a preseason guy that didn't make the team and 88 went to someone else once the season started. I can't find anyone on the rosters that had 88 that looks close to that signature. Agreed. Maybe he didn't know how to spell his name?
-
That was my guess, but the signature doesn't look like Neufeld

I like Klein but he has not been very effective as the third LB. He does better when he plays MLB. I hope they still play some 4-3. They have other LBs than can step up to play. Even if they play a big-nickel with a safety more than Johnson would be better than their straight nickel package.

You should be worried about being outcoached not that the refs are in New England's pocket. The only modern day scandals are individuals fixing or betting on games for their own financial interest. None of the recent scandals were to benefit one team over another. I truly believe Spyware was a massive cover up. Someone will eventually come clean and tell the whole story. That is a true conspiracy. Not refs calling games.

Sunday late thread: Baltimore at Pittsburgh
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
There seems to be debate on the final play. Romo blaming Lamar Jackson and others saying Andrews should have made the catch. I've been a consistent defender of Lamar but that was a bad throw. No way Andrews can make that play without a miracle and or diving for the ball which would not have allowed him to get in the endzone. What do you all say? -

Bills have the better QB at home. They have no business losing this game. Lose a close one and they still have a shot at the playoffs with the weak schedule ahead. Get blown out like they did against the Colts and I will start the fire McDermott thread. -
NFL Cap Going to 208 Million

Who is Bradley? You are correct Hughes, Addison, or both will be gone. Butler will be gone for sure. H. Phillips they can probably bring back on the cheap. Not sure how they structured Williams contract but if he plays decently at guard down the stretch they probably bring him back so they have fewer holes to fill on the line. -

Sign Quenton Nelson to the largest guard contract in history fully guaranteed and Force the Colts to match it -
I like Collinsworth. He is second best to Romo. I'm not even sure why this board doesn't like him. He talks about the city and the fans with great reverence. He is a good analyst. I think why fans don't like him is that he doesn't prop up bad teams with BS. He praises the winners and the good teams more than the losers. When the Bills were losers there wasn't much good to say about the team. Now that they win he comments on their good play just as much s anyone. He also does a good job calling out the OL and DL play. Buck is terrible calling NFL. I think he is excellent at baseball. Aikman is hit and miss. He makes some good points and then there are times he can't even form a sentence. Very painful to listen to the two of them. They are the worst of the network lead teams. Al Michaels is a bit full of himself at times. But he has the track record to back it up. He gets a bit verbose at times but it's tolerable.

All-22 Grades for Bills/Saints (The Athletic)
Ethan in Cleveland replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
As a well documented Edmunds skeptic, I still did not see A- play from him but I also did not see any major negative plays. He looked solid. New England's o-line and run game will be a better gauge of his play. If he continues to get better they can have a solid MLB for another 7 years and he will just turn 30 at that point. He will be expensive but will be an anchor (in a good sense) for years to come. I was in favor of picking up his extension for just this reason. Let him prove it on the field before they invest huge money. Love Knox, but agree his blocking is still not good. -

My gut tells me this is all still COVID deconditioning and the short week really impacted him. I expect him to look better coming off this mini-bye. -
At this point we should just shut down the board until Monday night. Every person can post a valid point to support their hypothesis. It will all come to a head on Monday night. Win and they control their destiny to probably at worst the #2 seed. Lose and there is a good chance they don't make the playoffs.

What is your Buffalo Bills relationship status?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to cwater10's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im both a long term lover obviosuly but also a One before we all die. I was born in 1970 so I can't live off of AFL championships, I was in my two's during the peak SB years, and now I'm 50 with less time on the planet than I have already spent. My lens is win now at all costs. That is why I can't stand Beane's approach of not aggressively adding talent earlier this year. -
Christian McCaffrey out for the season

How much do you think these chronically inured players are PED related? I'm just thinking guys use PED to add size and increase speed on a frame that was never suited to handle the load. Maybe it's just repeated bad luck and nothing more.
