  1. The Bills are soft. Physically and mentally weak. That's all there is to it. So sad. Emberassed on national TV.
  2. Good luck Bills!!! I have to work on the Pacific coast. Enjoy the game everyone that can see it!
  3. I'm just contradicting the statement that posters said he sucks. Interchangeable or replaceable is a long way from he sucks. Otherwise we generally agree. For the record and with all options on the table I would move Edmunds outside let Milano walk and use those dollars to find a new MLB. If the intent is to keep Edmunds at MLB then I would be fine with keeping Milano on a reasonable contract. The real need is a true edge player that can defend the run just enough not to be exposed but has the potential to be an elite pass rusher. Think Hughes when he first moved from OLB to DE- adequate against the run but very good pass rusher.
  4. Ok no one has ever said Milano sucks on this board even after he bounced off Watson. Some of us believe his ability is overstated on this board. The Milano discussion is whether he should be signed long-term and the cost especially in light of his injury history.
  5. 100% ok with benching Murphy. I don’t understand benching Phillips though. He has not been great but he needs snaps to develop. Kudos to McD for being willing to make a change. Makes choosing Murphy over Lawson look even worse now. But water under the bridge. Let's see how Epenesa plays with more snaps. Hopefully he can generate some outside rush.
  6. They haven't gone cheap so much as they have gone young - and not entirely by choice. DT is one of the hardest positions to transition to NFL. Phillips is coming of ACL. Much too soon to know how they will pan out. Losing Star cost this team valuable DL play and reps.
  7. So do you think the Ravens win the division? Vegas only moves the point spread if a QB goes down. I agree he is a very good player but I don't think his loss will cost them winning the division.
  8. Agree. As crazy as it sounds, Brady might be their biggest weakness now.
  9. Titans and Colts still play each other twice. I predicted Colts would win the division and make it to AFC Championship. Rivers needs to clean up his turnovers if they want to make the playoffs. I thought Reich would settle Rivers down a bit but so far he is on pace for mid-teens interceptions. Still early though.
  10. Its not Cam its there o-line. Pats nearly beat KC and Seattle. Bills best path to the playoffs is to win the division. Bills need at least a split with New England and maybe need to sweep the division to win it if Miami gets hot down the stretch.
  11. Its both. They need Phillips and Oliver to improve, get Star back next year, and draft a couple edge players. If Phillips and Oliver are busts it will be very hard to fix the defense in one off-season. This assumes Edmunds is still their chosen one at MLB. They should let Milano walk, move Edmunds outside and find another option at MLB.
  12. If Ben stays healthy, I still think Pittsburgh wins that division. Not sure one player changes a lot but Bush meant a lot to that defense. I had Pittsburgh, KC, and Seattle as the toughest games of the year. Still think that is the case.
  13. It is Russell Wilson's trophy to lose at this point
  14. Great point. I would have taken him in a heartbeat over Rex and McD. Same for Hue Jackson. I thought both would make great HCs. Similar stories for Wade Phillips and Norv Turner.
  15. Seriously, they are giving the 0-16 Lions a run for worst ever. Josh Allen
  16. Agree, Kielce could go off for 125 or more yards. The game plan to stop great tight ends is to use a DB on them especially when they line up outside. KC and Reid love crossing routes. McD should know better than anyone how to defend Reid’s offense. I didn’t see him get hurt or leave Titans game. Smith will help the run blocking.
  17. I've been harping on the pass rush and the defense in general since the Houston collapse. Nothing new. Only 5 games played, plenty of time to turn it around. During McD's tenure his defense has been thrashed a game or two each season. Baltimore, New Orleans, Houston and a few other games over the last several years. He has had to take over playcalling at least once that we know of. But the defense has bounced back. He will need to do it with new faces. Maybe a healthy White and a semi-healthy Milano will help.
