Decastro was injured his first year against the Bills and other than that he has been to the ProBowl six straight years and named All-Pro twice. He would easily be the best lineman on the Bills team. Nelson I agree is on a HOF trajectory if he stays healthy.

I’m not done with Ford but I am ready to move on from Morse. He was a healthy scratch after clearing concussion protocol. He is a below average center paid like a top 3 guy. Pay cut or cut him. I would not draft a guard this year if the bring back Boettger. I want to draft a true center. Cut Morse bring back Feliciano,Williams, and Boettger.

Hardly. He cut guys and created a cap disaster then overspent on several free agents. He did well with several like Williams, Beasley, Feliciano, and Brown but really overspent on the likes of Murphy, Morse, Butler, Kleine, Jefferson, and Addison. Basically he is your average GM that got a franchise QB in Allen. If the Browns or Jets had taken Allen he would have traded up for Rosen.

Allen can only sign an extension so there is little to no impact in 2021. As for Brown a typical restructure means they add a year and covert his salary for 2021 to a bonus. Then the cap hit is his bonus divided by the years on the contract. No. By rule he can’t sign a new contract to replace his rookie deal he can only sign an extension. He plays on his rookie first round deal in 2021.

Works for me. Remember Epenesa had no OTA or training camp. He could be a lot better. Of course it is all speculation but he was felt to be a first round talent. I thought he was too fat and slow but he looked faster than I thought he would be and he cut a lot of weight. As for the draft I’m adding at least two DE and maybe 2 more edge players if they do not move Edmunds outside and Milano walks.

I don’t watch every KC game but I looked up Kelce. At one point he went 58 receptions without a drop and he was only credited with 1 during the season. But that stat can be subjective I'm sure.

The missing link is a pass rush. They have to upgrade DE and Edge players. Easiest way to do that is to move Edmunds outside, develope Epenesa, add a veteran, and draft two guys.

Maurkice has a decent shot at HOF. Steelers and Dolphins have had great history of centers with Webster, Stephenson, and the Pouncey twins.

I love the 60's standing bison. Even though I don't like the red helmet, I think it would be cool for a game ever season or every other season. It might be cool to have a crossover event, where one week the Bills wear Sabres Blue and Gold and the Sabres wear blue and white.

As others, I'd prefer Brown back on a restructured deal but Williams is intriguing at the right price. Has size and speed. He put up ok numbers dealing with bilateral plantar fasciitis. Coming off a missed season due to shoulder not a knee or something that would affect his running. If they let Brown go, he could be a good 1 yr rental in case Davis has a sophomore slump.

Watson has one less playoff win than Allen. Watson was a one man show in Houston this year. Dallas without Prescott was one of the worst teams in the NFL. With him they are a playoff contender. You should have stopped after saying they were both good.

Mahommes was hurt and it affected his movement in the pocket. He played ok just not super-human. The line was the main issue pure and simple. I will add Kelce had three drops in the SB in a season where he had only 1 in 16 games.

Agreed. I've been posting about lack of pass rush for two years. People have said McD's defense doesn't utilize pass rushing DEs. Beane has failed multiple times on fixing the DL. Murphy was a huge expensive bust. Oliver had not lived up to his draft status but has not been bad. The free agents all under performed their contract status. Epenesa is still an unknown and we don't yet know how well Phillips can play because of injury. The most productive player in the front 7 is about to walk out the door and Edmunds still is clueless as a MLB. Hughes is getting older and may have one more productive year. Star is coming back. They are set at DT. Just decide to keep Butler or Jefferson as the fourth DT and let the other go. The fixes in my mind are to move Edmunds to OLB, add draft another DE and MLB. If the don't move Edmunds which I doubt they will then they will need to sign another OLB/Edge and draft two more edge/DE players, and hope Epenesa is better. Oliver to DE is not a good idea.

I'd keep him over Andre Roberts. That said I'm on record wanting to keep Brown. By keeping Brown, I let both McKenzie and Roberts go. They can find a DB to be the KO/PR guy. He barely saw the field in the playoffs when the top 4 WRs were all hurt. That tells me he is gone. However if they decide to part ways with Brown and Roberts then my guess is they will make a play to keep McKenzie.

It depends. Bills OL would likely have done better than the KC makeshift unit. Bills WR would have had two weeks to get healthier. McD probably doesn't call the dumb TO Reid did. I still think Tampa wins 24-17 but it is a close game.

It was a perfect storm. The KC line was hit by injury, the Tamp DL and front 7 is very good, and Mahommes was hurt. The Bills can get better OL play and can make a few moves to get better on the DL. The SB proved the Chiefs can be beat. The Bills are 3-4 players away. They can find that many in FA and the draft and still be under the cap. Beane needs to be so much better in FA this time. Ford and Edmunds need to get healthy and play better. Knox needs to get better. All that can happen.

Bills TE might be the worst position group in NFL history. Not a single ProBowl for any TE in Bills history. That is really quite an impressive run of at best average to sometime horrible play. And it's not as if they have not tried. Tony Hunter drafted before Kelly. How many other TEs have been drafted in the first three rounds? Trade for Clay was a big investment.

The difference was the Tampa pass rush combined with the KC O-line injury induced shuffling. The Tampa run game was meaningless to the outcome. The time management by Reid was also an issue.

CB#2 is where they can save some money. Wallace is RFA and they can get him fairly cheap. Dane Jackson is on a rookie deal. The Bills are set at CB with Taron Johnson, White, Wallace and Jackson. Maybe add one vet on the cheap.
