  1. Here is the video from yesterday: Here's a video of it being thrown out the first time, in 2016: It happened three time in 2018, with one fan being arrested:
  2. LOL, ok good cause then! Yeah, "ad nauseum" is the correct term when speaking of most Pats* fans. 😄
  3. Ugh, they have commercials from hell which are shown ad nauseum on NFL Network:
  4. Not true on the last one (unless there was just a recent announcement by the NFL I am unaware of). The Arizona-LA winner could still play next Saturday if the NFL wants to feature Dallas (if they win) at Tampa Bay (if they win) on Sunday (both have huge national followings) and also wants to put an AFC game also on Sunday (Sundays have better TV ratings than Saturday). Probably won't happen, but it could, as the NFL has been known to do stranger things for ratings.
  5. Sleeping. I sleep days. Go to bed around 9 AM. Plus, I am on the west coast, so the game starts at 5:30 PM for me.
  6. You think that's unprofessional? Look at the actual red carpet on the tarmac rolled out for McD when he arrived in Buffalo for the first time: [at 0.05:]
  7. Yeah, they would be a tough opponent. But...maybe I'm being a homer, but I predict a different outcome should we play them again.
  8. Well, maybe KC loses in the first round, say to the Chargers or Colts. That also guarantees us a home divisional round game (assuming we win the East and finish in the 3 seed, as Cincy is resting their starters).
  9. Damn...this is a hell of an explanation! You really know your stuff. Thank you.
  10. Good post! Let's add: Panera Bread = Bread Basket Bread And while not quite the same: PIN number = personal identification number number ABS brakes = anti-lock braking system brakes And a few others, but I am drawing a blank right now.
  11. Weeks?! Try, months or years, lol. :-) 😄
  12. Try most Costcos (at least in the northern part of California...except the northwest coast)). It is $4.37 a gallon for 87 grade at Costco in Concord, CA. Costco in San Luis Obispo is $4.39 a gallon. Not trying to shill for Costco, but if anyone is not a member, it is worth the low cost of membership for just the gas savings alone. Plus, it is "Top Tier" gas, unlike Sam's Club, Walmart. or BJ's Wholesale Club, for example.
  13. Or Calgary Flames...used to be the Atlanta Flames. Or the San Francisco Giants...used to be the NY Giants. Arizona/Phoenix Cardinals...used to be the St. Louis Cardinals. And the Tennessee Titans used to be the Tennessee Oilers. And the New Orleans Pelicans used to be the New Orleans Hornets.
  14. If we play Indy in the divisionals or AFCCG, we would still be at home for that, so we could have 2 home games regardless. Heck, I think we could conceivably host 3 games, if 6 and 7 upset 3 and 2, respectively, and 7 then goes on to upset 1. So, correct me if I am wrong, the optimal situation would the number 4 Bills beating number 5 New England in the WC, then hosting the number 6 Colts or Raiders in the divisionals, then hosting the number 7 Colts or Chargers in the AFCCG. This assumes Patriots, Chiefs, and Bengals wins and the Steelers not getting into the post-season, all of which are very likely (well, except maybe the Patriots beating Miami).
  15. That, and Jameis Winston stealing crab legs.
  16. Oh duh! I hadn't looked at that thread that closely. Thanks for telling me.
  17. Yep, but if Rodgers goes, we are looking at hosting either Tennessee or the Patriots opening Thursday! (unless, on the outside chance, Green Bay gets someone like Russell Wilson)
  18. Josh still has a chance to beat some of the following this post-season: Cardinals, Bucs, Packers, Colts, and, unlikely, the Ravens and Eagles. Let's hope we can knock off a few this year still!
  19. You mean this one?! I hate it too: And this one too:
  20. Or we could have not lost stupidly to the Jaguars and Steelers. But it is what it is, sadly. I bet the Bills wish they could have "do overs", lol.
  21. The NFL will have the Chiefs and Titans playing at the same time to prevent this. They move the games around the final week to prevent unfair advantages.
  22. I don't know about that one, lol. When I was turning 13, I got an Atari 2600 and toy pool table for Christmas. I played with those things obsessively, for years. Of course, this was 1982 and the Bills finished 4-5-1 and out of the expanded playoffs in a strike-shortened season. There were no divisions, but Miami, the Jets, and New England all made the playoffs. The Jets stunned the Steelers and number one ranked Raiders, while Miami went to the SB. I froze my butt off enough delivering newspapers each day and walking to school. The last thing I would want is more freezing at Rich Stadium, as it was called back then, lol. But, yeah, I'm sure these kids would love the experience, especially with the Bills winning. [Sidenote: Back then, our home games were often blacked out, so we sat in the living room around the radio listening to Van Miller's broadcast..for real! I had to experience the 1984 0-11 Bills vs. 7-4 Dallas victory this way, as well as the Roland Hooks Hail Mary vs. New England in 1981, both in Week 12 in November]
  23. Another thing that is weird: the NHL point standing system. Both regulation and overtime wins are 2 point each, but an overtime loss is 1 point. So, an overtime loss is worth more than a regulation loss, but a regulation win is worth no more than an overtime win? Is a complete game 2 or 3 points? Shouldn't it be something like 3 points for a regulation win, 2 points for an overtime win, and 1 point for an overtime loss?
