  1. Hopefully it's nothing more than a bone bruise.
  2. I know he was missed by Seattle fans when he left, but I remember him being a disappointment here. Left us and went on to have a good year with the Jets last year. Very meh...too me. Would've loved to see a trade for a run stuffing type. Jefferson does not help us there.
  3. Is that a legit recent picture of Keon? It was reported that he was at some event that Deon just hosted, but everyone is mum about it.
  4. Agreed. He's been good here when healthy, but bad in other places.
  5. I wouldn't want him as a traditional end like the Cowboys are using him. I would want him in that joker/Alexander role.
  6. In my opinion, I guy like that is worth the money. He's an all-around elite football player. Seems like a perfect chess piece for McD.
  7. That would be a really nice addition. I know I will probably get flamed for this, but if it's true that Parsons might be available, that would be the perfect fit for the Bills. He's a linebacker by nature, and not the 3-4 rush type, but was used as a DE by Dallas out of desperation. Seems like he would fit that Hybrid Lorenzo Alexander role. Might be able to add the pop we need to our push rush, and help solve our run def woes.
  8. 100%. Couldn't agree more.
  9. The all in mentality to me, means taking a really big swing at what you think might be the final piece needed to get over the hump. I also don't think this years roster is there, but as long as you have Allen, you have to do whatever you can, each and every year. You never know, when it might be our year. The key, which Beane has been very good at, is keeping a balanced approach. Adding pieces today, without sacrificing tomorrow too much. That being said, if an elite pass rusher becomes available, that would be my move. I would love to see us trade for DT. Daquan Jones is only a stop gap. He's getting a bit long in the tooth, and isn't half the player he was pre-injury last year. We're also very thing at DT, with Carter still out. Get a DT that can help us this year, who we can also rely on for the next couple of years. We will need to add one in the offseason anyhow, lets get a jump on that now if we can.
  10. Watching that play over again, and it seems like the forearm sustained most of the force, but then Keon braces his fall with that same arm/wrist. Very common way to break your wrist. That being said, hopefully it's not a fracture, and more of sprain/strain. I have more confidence about bouncing back quickly from a wrist vs. forearm.
  11. It seemed like he was starting to get his confidence back last week. Hopefully this game winning 61 harder, finishes cementing it.
  12. I think we have to view him the context that he's a slot WR. Even at his peak, Beasley never eclipsed 1000yds, if Shakir does, that's an outstanding season, and one can easily argue he's among the elite, as far as slot guys go.
  13. I prefer to beat them both times.
  14. Great write-up. Thanks for sharing John's story. RIP John
  15. I feel like a lot of people are still bitter about last year. I love what I saw in the 1st 4 games. We need to bring the good vibes back.
  16. I have to agree, but would argue that if Henry keeps up these historic numbers, it could hurt his odds. Not only does Allen need to go on a run, but he would have to do the Chiefs, what no one else has been able to do. If that happens, that would washout the head to head with Lamar.
  17. Agreed. Not sure that's commendable.
  18. Baltimore still has to play Pitt 2X, Bengals again, and Cleveland. I know Cleveland has been a dumpster fire, but they just got Chubb back, and Jameis is an upgrade over Watson. They will not run the table. But as it stands, they look scary. We can all thank Dallas, and every other team with a running back need, for letting Henry go there. Henry looks as good as ever. Currently on pace to rush for 2,120yds.
  19. Carter looks like we might've hit on something special. Has certainly earned some additional snaps. The most amazing thing I heard, is that Amari wasn't on the field for any of Keon's targets. Makes his day that much more special. Kid can play and is so fun to root for.
  20. Been thinking about this Amari trade a lot, and how our entire offense is transformed. I think most of us here wanted a better complement than Gabe Davis, and also wondered what happened to Diggs down the stretch. We now see that Diggs is nothing more than a volume/possession type of receiver at this point in his career. I think Amari is an upgrade over Diggs at this point, and overall a better yac guy. Coleman is a far superior talent to Gabe, and Shakir is finally our Beasley replacement. Not to mention Cook/Davis and Kincaid. This might be the most talented offense we've had, when you throw in the offensive line and our ability to run.
  21. Haha....this is so good.
  22. This is all fun to dream and discuss, and I know it's not realistic. But if we were to trade for a guy like Crosby, we're ripping his contract up and writing him a new one. One that works within our budget and gives him future guarantees. This would not be a rental. It would cost a ton to obtain him. Shaq Thompson is out for the year.
  23. Thank you. I was honestly surprised by most of the responses I was getting, but it did not change my opinion. You of course can express it more eloquently than I can. It's like saying, would you trade Rosseau and Elam for Crosby or Garrett. I don't think anyone in their right mind says no. I'll take it one step further, how about Rosseau and Kincaid? That's still a resounding yes to me.
  24. Totally agree with this. During McDermott's tenure, we seem to almost always have a bad stretch of bad run D. We always hear that it's about tap integrity, and guys properly filling. If I'm the Bills, I keep a run stopping specialist on the roster, like teams do with pass rush specialists. This would help us against the Ravens of the world.
