  1. The guy early on with the Jets looked like a top 1%, but has not been able to stay healthy, and is a complete washout now. Not only is he bad in coverage, but he's also always injured. Capital no thanks.
  2. They still have a very good defense, and from what I've seen, Chris Jones is still that elite closer. Hopefully losing Sneed does catch up with them, but I haven't seen it yet. At this point last year, they were 4-1 with a struggling offense, and a good defense. Very similar to this year. Then in the playoffs, their tackles were never called for holding, and they became a dominant unit. Kelce also found the fountain of youth, just in time for the playoffs. I'll keep my thoughts to myself on that one. The major difference this year, is no Rashee Rice, and no Pacheco. Although Pacheco is expected to be back long before the playoffs. Let's hope they don't land a major WR before the trade deadline. Is this how you feel in the playoffs too? Big difference between reg season and playoffs. We can all agree, that our defense is what has kept this team from advancing in the playoffs.
  3. I think we can all agree, that love him or hate him, McDermott isn't going anywhere. Pre-Von injury, we got a taste of what our defense could look like with an elite pass rusher.
  4. All this chat about the Lions trading for a pass rusher to replace Hutchenson, got me thinking, why not us? Tom Pelissero was asked if I guy like Myles Garret or Maxx Crosby could be had? His response was, that for the right price, almost anyone can be had. He stated, that it's his belief that there is only about a total of 12 players in the NFL that are not tradeable, and went on to mention 4 players, as examples (Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, and Jefferson). Beane attempted to swing for the fences, when we signed Von, but it was a bit too late. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe he has any more guaranteed money after this year. Both Von and Diggs will be off the books come next year. I am also on the fence about resigning Rosseau. Seems like we will have to overpay, for what we're getting from him. Rosseau seems like the perfect complementary piece, but has not shown the ability to be the guy, Would you be willing to trade 2 number ones, if I guy like Max Crosby or Myles Garrett could be had?
  5. Totally agree with this, and will also add, that even if your percentage is high, can you be trusted in the need it moments. For Bass, it's a big fat no.
  6. I totally agree with this, and his a 61 yd winner in an upset win last year. This is exactly the type of swing we need to take. Bass has to go.
  7. I believe I remember Sal clarifying that they were not converting Cine to LB, and the LB reps reported, had more to do with the Big Nickel Package.
  8. That articles says a lot more about Dallas, then it does Cooper. It only reaffirms how I feel about him. He's the anti-diva, well Dallas, you just paid Ceedee Lamb, and a you might've just gotten your wish. Plus with Buffalo, Josh needs help, he doesn't need Amari to carry the team. 2 totally different situations.
  9. I wish I had kept the exact quote, but the year that we gave up a 1 for Diggs, it was a really strong year for WR's. When asked about the scouting process for WR's, Beane said that after QB, it might be the hardest position to scout and mentioned that it has one of the higher bust rates. This when into the decision to trade for Diggs, vs. drafting one in the 1st round. I also agree with building through the draft, but we also can't afford to waste another one of Josh's prime years. Player aside, how much is that worth? The thing I like most about Cooper, is that he kind of replaces Diggs and Gabe. He's a deep speed threat, but also a true #1. This is exactly the kind of WR, I was hoping the Bills would draft. Someone that threatens defenses on all 3 levels. Coleman slides in as the number 2, and is an upgrade to Gabe, and I would say that Cooper is an upgrade to Diggs, at this point in their careers.
  10. I'm not going to pretend, like this isn't a concern. But I also think that a tight knit locker room like ours, can possibly bring out the best version. Worth the risk. His speed on the outside, helps us tremendously.
  11. 800K, vs. absorbing a big contract makes a difference. But I also think the Browns got a steal at the time. The Browns are a hot mess, and Amari is still a good WR. I see this more as a Cleveland problem, than an Amari one.
  12. Allen is playing really well with a limited receiving corp. But 157 passing ypg, is not going to cut it. Brandon Beane, if your listening....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, get this man another outside weapon.
  13. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I would rather listen to Collinsworth, than those 2 Bozos. Aikman clearly does not like the Bills, and I agree with the comment above, that he seems jealous.
  14. I agree with coaching, but you have to win the line of scrimmage battle, and you have to be able to rush the passer. Where those elite players are, really matter. I know Minny is 5-0, but to early to include them in the conversation.
  15. Agreed. He played nearly a perfect game. But we still desperately need a WR. Through 6 weeks, Allen is averaging 157yds a week. Team, please don't fail this man now, and get him another weapon, especially with how well we are running the ball. It will really put teams in a bind.
  16. Not buying. He's being smart, and waiting for the right opportunity. Good for him. Makes him even more attractive.
  17. By no means am I trying to absolve Brady, but for anyone that doesn't think we need a WR, just remember Allen was 9/30 last week, and let that sink in.
  18. What a bad call. Benford was a hair early, but only during slow replay.
  19. Really tough for guys to get open. We really need Davante.
  20. I like what I saw from the Oline. Keep running, and start hitting them with some playaction. On D, we need to get Hamlin off the field. Better yet, maybe Rodgers will pick on him, and force McDs hand.
  21. I agree it's highly unlikely. They rarely trade their players. But they have to know they'll lose Higgins for nothing, after this year
