None of them mentioned it at all, now that you bring it up! Don't think it's going to be particularly strong. Although it was funny, the Buffalo weather people were WAY MORE into the game (doing the weather forecast!) the last 2 weeks for the games in Buffalo. The weather segment would start and right away they were like "OK let's talk about the game!" The KC guys mentioned the game but didn't really focus on it as much as I would have thought. These were weather segments recorded early Saturday morning.

Just watched all the most recent weather forecasts at ABC, CBS, and NBC affiliates in KC. They are all saying the same thing; temp mid to upper 30s (37F or so) at kickoff; decent chance (maybe 50%) of some light drizzle or mist occurring now and again during the game, but nothing substantial. Temps should remain above freezing for the game. They are going to get a minor snow event but it won't start until midnight and over night on Sunday into Monday and that system will have no impact on the game at all.

I agree with you here, but it is possible Watson has already decided he is leaving the team or that the relationship can't be resurrected. In that case, he's gonna get traded. I have no idea how far gone it is there. We'll find out soon enough.

I woke up about an hour early this morning, with visions of Bills games dancing in my head. I can tell it's going to be a long day today, and even longer day tomorrow until kickoff.

I love Alien and have it somewhere on my favorite films of all time list; probably top 10. I also thought Aliens the second film was solid. Everything else so far has been a disappointment and I agree on the prequels. I had such hope for Prometheus, but I found it really disappointing. Covenant wasn't a heck of a lot better. The feel and atmosphere of the original was never matched in any of the others. You can't overstate how good Alien was! This scene when they investigate the space jockey for the first time is one of my favorite moments in cinematic history! It was sort of the epicenter of coolness for the entire movie for me. (Ridley Scott used dwarves as the astronauts to make the space jockey prop look bigger). Worked very well!

Miami is not drafting a QB. They feel like they have their guy in Tua and they are going to invest in him for a few years, unless something weird happens and they end up with Watson from Houston. I think the Jets ultimately will move on from Darnold, but not immediately. New England should draft a QB next. They may well try to get a hold of a veteran as short term solution, but they need to draft the next one. How NE rebounds from their current situation is one of the more interesting stories in the league IMO.

Thanks. NFL Network is also playing Bills vs. Chiefs from earlier this year at 3:00pm on Sunday. They are also re-playing the Bills vs. Ravens playoff game Sunday at 2:00am (i.e., late at night Saturday night).

The cool thing about VCRs is you can record whatever you want and retain a hard copy of it forever. OK, so the picture quality isn't the best, but for certain things that doesn't matter. Back in 1991 when Desert Storm started, I threw a blank video tape in the VCR and recorded the various networks and CNN for all 6 hours....then did it again for Tapes 2 and 3 over a week or 2 period. I still have all 3 of them in my library and those things are like a golden treasure of history now, at least IMO. It helps if you have an interest in history and in particular, military history.

Beating Mahomes straight up on Sunday would go a long way too!

We are close enough to the game now to know what the weather is going to be like, for the most part. At game time it will be in the upper 30s (F) with some drizzle and light rain on and off. Local weather guys always know what's going on best in their area. I've been watching NBC, CBS, and ABC local affiliates in KC this week. They're all talking about the game time weather. I did the same thing with Channels 2, 4, and 7 in Buffalo last week; the Buffalo weather people were spot on.

Actually, Buffalo is in a tie with Tampa for #3 behind KC and GB.
