  1. Right, like back in the Super Bowl era, when we had the most aggressive, avant grade, passing offense in franchise history. Why do people not remember this? It will come down to timing. The storm may or may not impact the game, but looking at the models, there is gonna be a storm on Monday. Remember the forecasts for bad rain in the Kansas City night game? That stuff was talked about for a week, and the rain came RIGHT ON TIME as advertised in the game. Computer models are pretty good now; longer than a week forecast is a stretch, but 7 days or less can be very accurate.
  2. ...famous last words. It will be there. It's a question of timing, and whether or not the storm impacts the game. This is as big as game as we have played in the regular season in several years. I really hope it is not destroyed by total garbage weather.
  3. *Are the Bills a better team "THAN" the Pats. Come on man, 5th grade grammar isn't that tough.
  4. I don't necessarily disagree with this, but that is going to be difficult to do when the NE front 7 is TERRORIZING our line up front. I expect Judon to have a MONSTER game.
  5. My S/O just finished all of this show and had some good things to say about it. I think she enjoyed it overall and would give it a solid thumbs up. I just looked into this show. I didn't realize it played in Tokyo...I will check this out tonight and probably quickly fall in love. Thanks for mentioning.
  6. I watched the entire game last night and it looked like Mayfield was nursing about 3 or 4 independent injuries. Dude could hardly walk.
  7. Our injury rate this year has been excellent for the most part. It's been a bit worse lately, and then of course we have the TRE incident... But like 2 Thursdays ago John Clayton was on with Schopp and Bulldog praising Sean McDermott for his ability to keep the team so healthy this year. Billsfan1972 isn't the only person thinking the injuries have been light this year (notwithstanding the TRE bombshell).
  8. You are assuming we want to win all games. I would argue we are more or less trying to lose this year. We are still in the EARLY stages of a rebuild and have a mountain of draft picks coming up.
  9. Watching the Patriots vs. Titans game yesterday, I was reminded, frequently, of how the New England defensive front 7 is going to TERRORIZE this Bills OL.
  10. I think forgetting about No. 1 and focusing 100% on division title is the way to go. I'm cheering for Titans today, but if key players on both sides go down, no complaints.
  11. Who do we want to win the Tenn. vs. NE game? I'm thinking it would be best for both teams to lose, if that's possible. How about a tie? That's like a half game loss for both teams.
  12. This is actually one of the better NFL viewing days I recall for the whole season, even with no Bills game. 3 solid matchups for me down in FL. Tenn vs. NE; Rams game; SNF
  13. As a long time piano player and wanna be guitarist--who has attempted to play both instruments many times while drunk--I have NO IDEA how anyone can play a musical instrument to a high level while so hammered that they pass out. There are some videos out there where Jimmy Page can barely stand (out of his mind on smack I suppose) and his playing is HORRIBLE....but he is actually playing, and it's really hard music to boot. Like solos to Stairway and what not. I have no idea how Keith Moon could have been playing drums while on the brink of passing out. Bonzo was another hopeless drunk. Ginger Baker was a wicked smack addict... So many great musicians with huge problems with drugs and alcohol. I wonder why the 2 go together like salt and pepper. Any ideas? EDIT: "He's still a bit dodgy...but we'll get him right." LMFAO! That was great!
  14. Since we're proposing new ideas to help the team here... How about Josh Allen returns all punts? Also, how about Josh Allen play QB and WR on the same play? Crazy? Or brilliant? 🤔
  15. It would be a lot easier for everyone living there to simply move. There aren't that many people left anyway. (True story).
  16. And so will Belichick! You know he is going to find the absolute weakest link in the def. backfield and pound on that guy all night long. Hope McD does some thinking about how to stop that.
  17. Of course they, more or less, balance out over a game and/or season! Won't stop a certain Bills fan contingent from bitching about them in EVERY GAME. Then you have the contingent that wants to fire the OC, whoever that may be, after every game! Poor Brian Daboll....
  18. I know Bills fans would love to think that a "hostile environment" counts for something, but honestly, it doesn't. For the last 3 years now, there has been no such thing as "home field advantage" in the NFL. If our game plan relies on crowd noise to beat Belichick, we're screwed. And what minimal advantage it may give the team will be easily counterbalanced by the inherent coaching advantage New England will enjoy. Gonna be a tough, hard game. With Tre out and a weakened defensive backfield, and our pass rush, I would think the last thing in the world we'd want to do is a lot of blitzing. It won't happen.
  19. Have you looked into Carolina's situation? That's the first place I'd look!
  20. I have to say, when the guys started eating the turkey legs, I was getting SERIOUSLY hungry for some turkey. Those legs were HUGE.
  21. Of course it is! And there is NOTHING good about it. These rationalization threads are foolish.
  22. Sabres used to have a player (briefly) named Dane Jackson!
  23. Actually, we lost all of those games because I was wearing my pink mesh thong. It's unlucky.
  24. Lots of football fans like to talk about how dangerous it is for a QB to run. Where is the data to support that? It's just based on basic logic and common sense, but that doesn't mean it's accurate. Fans also love to harp on "the defense is getting tired" when the offense doesn't stay on the field as much as desired, but the data actually suggests that the is NO CORRELATION between defensive time on the field and "tiredness". It's just a myth, along with "trap games" which don't actually exist.
