This is why I've been pumping the weather thread with posts like crazy and it's so long! I don't think a lot of people realize how much the weather is going to control the game. And no, you can't determine anything about anything in a game like this. Just hope we somehow win, by ANY MEANS POSSIBLE and then run for the showers!

Don't listen to him; he might think it's a dick move; that's probably because he makes the errors in the first place, and then has a terrible attitude about it. Not everyone is trying to improve themselves.

I would say later than page 3. This is a huge game and I bet a lot of people will be contributing to the thread. So we are going to get a couple pages of simply "let's go" posts before the game hardly begins. I say page 7. ?????

I'm guessing kicking won't be a part of the story tonight, largely because field goals won't even be attempted. Might want to go for 2 after all TDs as well. Of course, the punters will sometimes have to punt and if someone scores, teams have to kick off! I hope it's not too much of a carnival.

It's snowing at the stadium right now. Notice at one point the two uprights are blowing AWAY FROM EACH OTHER. That's crazy!

The weather is not going to allow Allen to outshine Jones, that's part of the problem here. Then again, Josh might be able to run loose like a wild gazelle! I can see him ad libbing a lot in this game tonight....and getting serious yardage with his feet. Snow is falling at the stadium right now.

I agree Aliens is pretty much just as good as the first one, or at least close. I have heard of "Gattaca" but never seen it; I'm going to look into that one and I'll report back after I see it.

A caller just mentioned that it's the worst he's ever seen it at the stadium (been to @ 80 games). He suggested no one will be able to pass or kick if they are going into the wind (i.e., toward the scoreboard end). Of course, the wind should calm down a big by kickoff.

Caller to WGR-550 at the stadium right now @ 5:00pm.... He said the wind is so strong and persistent (towards the tunnel) that he doesn't see how ANYONE is going to PASS or KICK the ball into the wind. Said it's the worst he's ever seen, and he's been to "something like 80 games."

ESPN has scrapped the "SKY CAM" for tonight's game as it's too windy to use it. Yeah, that's not accurate at all! LOL

38 degrees and 24 MPH wind right now at OP; wind supposed to stay that way at least until halftime... As per weather app just now.

Aside from swirling and crazy things, the wind should generally be blowing toward the tunnel end of the field. There could easily be a "with the wind" and "against the wind" aspect to passing and kicking, depending on who is doing what and when. That should even out somewhat but it doesn't have to; depends on luck.

It is supposed calm down to an extent, but still gusting up to 35 mph throughout the entire game. If the wind performs as advertised, we aren't going to miss Tre nearly as much as we might have.

Logic, thank you for posting this. I just came to this thread right now, deliberately looking for this type of information. Here it is, 3:30pm and if the weather people are correct, it should be going crazy around the stadium by now. Sounds like it is. For those living in WNY and participating in this thread, please keep throwing out weather observations as you look out the window! Thanks!

Threads aimed directly at user behavior here don't really add much in the way of value. Talk about the football team, announcers, refs, coaches...that's why we're here.

Let me calm the OP down. The Bills game on MNF is not going to be ruined by pro-NE bias as part of a master Super Bowl conspiracy plot.

I still can't fathom anyone becoming a Bills fan who is not from Buffalo and born into the situation. That's really weird.

We are lucky to have played them when we did.
