I know the game is "pick someone not named Josh Allen" but this game more than any is about Josh Allen! If he continues his below-par play, we might well lose. If he gets in back in gear, we might win by 20 or more. I don't see anyone else on the team 5% as important to the outcome. But yes, if Josh gets it together, Diggs will likely have a huge game as well, so he's a safe pick.

Just heard an informed conversation on this topic yesterday, and the consensus is that NO, he is not ready. He's physically cleared or whatever, but not in game shape. People have speculated that you might get him for only a few games at end of year, plus the playoffs. He wants to go to 1 last stop before he retires, and he wants that stop to last for several years for huge money. If he can actually get that somewhere, he'll go there; he will not get that in Buffalo. If he can't get that, we might still be in the running. If we lose to Cleveland and/or Detroit, I don't think he'd come here anyway. If we KILL both of them, and get some momentum going again, maybe he would come here.

This is why they have an offensive coordinator...to handle offense. I'm pretty sure it's not really related to McDermott at all.

The plan is to fly out of Buffalo airport tomorrow (Saturday) in the AM. I don't think it's a big deal, but people here seem to like trying to make it a big deal.

Tre isn't playing b/c of the type of turf in Detroit. Why exactly he isn't playing is the most interesting talking point with this team right now. I think there is some kind of psychological thing going on with Tre; like being afraid to fly. Something he needs to get over to get out there and play again. All indications lead to something like that.

Hey, up until a day or 2 ago Ndamukong Suh was "still available." Wish we were the team who signed him, not Philly. Being available doesn't always mean "he sucks." The world is a more complex place than that.

No one actually knows this (other than Tre and a few coaches, I suppose) but I DO agree with your assessment here. I think this is what's going on; it's the most likely explanation at this point. Sal C. even suggests that McDermott seemed different the last time he talked about it, like he was distancing himself from the situation a little bit, as if to shine light on Tre as the source of the problem. Sal was saying that McDermott is basically saying "I don't know what to make of it now, he's ready to play, he's healthy, but it's in his hands now, not mine." So to speak. Cleveland will be pounding the rock all game, eating clock, and trying to keep our O off the field; it's how you beat the Bills...and they have the run game to do it. I don't think they're going to throw a lot.

Sounds like you are not too far from Webster. I was living in Webster during the winter of 1998-1999. On a single day in the winter (don't remember when) we got 24" of snow in 24 hours (in Webster, downtown Rochester, Henrietta, Pittsford, the whole metro area). At that time, it was the single heaviest dropping of snow for a 24 hour period of time in history--for Rochester. I live in SE FL. If it makes everyone feel better, it is a cloudy day down here and a bit cold. Only about 74 degrees out, and I decided to skip my daily walk at the beach. We are all dealing with weather in our own ways. 😂

Wo, that's a mess. Especially seeing as the snow is still coming down, I'm going to suggest there is no way they could have gotten that stadium prepared for a game at 1pm on Sunday.

I have wondered this myself. I am thinking they would leave through Toronto, but then you have to get over the bridge to Canada too. If I am living in WNY and thinking of going to the game in a car, if possible, I would be planning the entire drive through Canada. Get on the right side of the Lake and avoid the snow.

Why? B/c fans wouldn't be able to travel to the game? Cleveland might alter when they arrive to make they get in, but the game would not be moved. It be played in front of a near empty crowd, but why move it? And it's NOT a dumb take; anything other than a dome DOWNTOWN is dumb. Of course, that's what we get. Buffalo!

They are talking about moving the game. The game could be moved despite not knowing that now. That's all I'm saying. I personally don't think it will be moved. It's all much to do about nothing. Then again, I thought Josh would NOT play last week, FOR SURE.
