Let's see how Josh does today. If the offense is on fire, it won't matter what the D is doing, just like in every other game in the NFL. -

Jacoby looking like Brady! -
The answer to your questions is because most (?) people who participate here do so to argue with strangers they can't see. It's why they are here. The actual "football" side of things usually strikes me as somewhat irrelevant. Look at the people who LIVE here 24/7, and then volunteer things like "I missed the start of the game." LOL I participate at many forums like this involving all kind of subjects having nothing to do with sports. They are mostly the same.

The evidence is out there. It's a Tre thing. Period. Exactly what his issue is, I don't know. Is he re-thinking playing the game/ending his career? Is it much simpler than that and he simply doesn't trust his knee in a game? Is what we just heard that he won't play on bad turf? Has he developed some phobia of sorts where he can't make himself play at all? Who knows.

Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills
Nextmanup replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
LOL. It's an opinion Einstein. It's funny that you so violently oppose it, though, not because it's basis is unsound, but simply because you don't like the possible outcome. Get over it chief; try to enjoy life beyond the Buffalo f-ing Bills. You and so many here confuse your own personal identity with the team. You're not on the team. You're not a part of the team. Get over it. -
While none of us truly knows exactly what's going on, anyone has been closely following the situation on a daily basis and listened to McDermott comment on it...and listen to people like Sal C. try to understand it after talking to these people in person... I would say it is absolutely on Tre and not vice versa. McDermott has effectively hinted at that, deliberately IMO.

Who's watching!? Ecuador comfortably ahead 2-0 in the 40th minute. Not exactly a heavyweight matchup, but good to see things under way!

5 Things Besides a Win Today you would love to see
Nextmanup replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Other than a win, I would like to see: 1) Smart play 2) No turnovers 3) Josh returns to normal 4) Josh returns to normal 5) Josh returns to normal -
It's always amazing how small they can be while still generating enormous amounts of light. Shows you the speed and heat associated with these things. Let's just hope one the size of South America doesn't decide to slam into Earth. Who can forget this beauty? And if you haven't read about this, dig into it. This is cool stuff: :

What are your thoughts on John Murphy as our radio announcer?
Nextmanup replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
What I can't stand about his interviewing style is that he NEVER, EVER asks a follow-up question based on the answer he just got, so as to dig a little deeper and get more information out of the subject. I always imagine he is quietly reading his list of questions anticipating his next question while the first is answered, so he doesn't hear the response anyway. He also, consistently, produces some of the worst sports announcing calls I have ever heard. I mean on a regular basis, he gives us things like: "It's thrown down to the end zone and it is..........caught.......no dropped..........wait intercepted........no ITS A TOUCHDOWN! IT IS A TOUCHDOWN FOR THE BUFFALO BILLS!" I have NEVER heard a professional announcer make calls THAT POORLY. He does seem to be incredibly good at eating food. The guy has turned into a blimp since his Channel 7 sports desk days. -
That is beyond argument! Heck, even on our best days (like thumping the Rams on season opening night) we turned the ball over 4 times and played a game FILLED with mistakes. The fact is, the Rams are not good enough THIS YEAR to do anything about that, and so we beat them heavily. Tennessee was truly a solid game. Most the other games, even when wins, were very much incomplete, and McDermott said as much at the post-game PC in all of them. "We have a lot of stuff to work on." It all hinges on 1) making the playoffs and 2) playing our best ball once there. If we do those 2 things, NONE of this matters. If we repeat this stuff, we won't win a championship.

Well as I mentioned up thread, you can definitely argue it's not "real" meat. All depends on how you define "meat" which you haven't done.

The extensions don't mean anything. Pegula has a history of giving lengthy K extensions out, only to fire the guy way before the K is up, if things don't go well. He did it going all the way back to Darcy and a few since. I had hopes for this combo to be honest, and still believe the coach is good. But at some point the team will have to improve or else goodbye Granato and try someone else. I still think they should bring in a proven NHL level, Cup winning HC. They have only done that with Dan Bylsma--but a lot of us HATED that hire and had zero expectations of it working. Bylsma was a one shot wonder and his success in Pittsburgh had everything to do with factors other than his own coaching. His coaching career is dead forever after being dumped in Buffalo. I'm still not ready now to move on from Granato, but I'm starting to think about it. The team just CAN'T play like this for a couple week straight and think it's OK. Something has to give!
