  1. No surprise. For all of the talk about the “Bills Mafia,” the organization has been ashamed and embarrassed to be associated with some of the behavior in the viral videos around the internet. They’ve been taking incremental steps to curb behavior and some speculate the ultimate goal is to build a stadium downtown to eliminate tailgating all together! Agreed. I remember back in the day, there were drinking games played in the parking lot where people openly pounded beers. There also was a number of multi-person beer funnels set up where any stranger could walk up and funnel beer with their Bills Mafia brethren! Now if an officer sees the funnel he takes it or breaks up a game of flipcup
  2. I disagree that fans made more out of his drops his rookie year. I am pretty sure that if Zay didn’t have the highest drop rate, he was among the leaders in the NFL for WR’s
  3. I don’t know if you really can say that. Take a look at his game logs. He has yet to eclipse the 100 yard mark in two years are largely a starting WR. By NFL WR standards his numbers are very pedestrian - certainly not anywhere near where he should be as a 2nd round pick
  4. Not PTSD. Just that it shook his confidence. It has been known to happen to athletes when they don’t deliver on big moments
  5. Here’s an interesting take that I heard on the Bills Beat podcast. The hosts were talking about Zay jones and I believe it was Matt Fairburn who wondered whether the dropped pass against Carolina in 2017 messed with Zay’s confidence. Zay was supposed to be a WR with some of the best hands in the draft. He caught everything in college and broke records. He was thought of to be NFL ready and an immediate contributor. He was quiet in preseason but as far as I can remember, no one questions his hands. But since the drop drop in Week 2 of the season, Zay was inconsistent and couldn’t catch routine passes. He had an extremely high drop rate which was among the highest in the NFL his rookie year. There was one game against NYJ on Monday where it FINALLY looked like he was coming into his own. But then, he was tripped and left the game with an injury. Last year he led the Bills in Receiving but he has yet to eclipse a 100 yard performance. He also had a few costly drops. He has contributed at times, but when you consider his draft status, he’s been somewhat of a disappointment at WR. So how do you explain the lack of production from Zay? Is it an issue of confidence? Or is he just not very good at getting open and catching the ball?
  6. McDermott is measured in his words. Day-to-day means he’ll probably play Sunday.
  7. Its going to be extremely tough. The Texans didn’t look so great against Jacksonville and Andy Reid seems to shart his underwear every time he plays Bill Belichick. I think the division is out of reach until the Bills show they can be New England
  8. I remember Allen throwing to Zay Jones in the end zone. It appeared that the Bills was delivered ok but that it went though Zay’s hands. They never showed a replay on the broadcast. Did anyone rewatch the throw?
  9. I will never...NEVER understand the love that some Bills have for Doug Whaley. You’ll see thousands of excuses defending him. Some even going far out of their way to make excuses for Whaley. Like every Bills GM since Butler stepped aside (yes this includes Russ Brandon), he had some hits and misses. But overall DW had no vision and ZERO idea how to build a team long term. He seemed over his head - which he probably was. Also it’s no coincidence that he hasn’t found his way back in the NFL. I’m very glad they moved on from Doug - I only wish this move was done earlier in the year.
  10. Duke Williams is a huge fan favorite on Bills Twitter Yes. I agree completely.
  11. I had some many comments on my timeline from Bills fans complaining about how the Bills released Shady, because he ran for 81 yards. This week, he’s putting up numbers who look pretty similar to last season’s output with a much better OL and an offense that can spread defenses out.
  12. Most of the people here are Bills fans, but if you are like me and read these forums or scroll Twitter during the week (especially on game days), then there are repetitive comments that likely get on your nerves made by Bills fans. The past two weeks, I’ve noticed a lot of these patterns. How about you? ”We should have never gotten rid of....” There’s a bit of revisionist history with a lot of Bills fans. Anytime an ex-player has a good (or even marginally good moment), some fans will pine for a former player, without considering any context and in some cases...logic. Last year there were people who were legitimately lamenting the loss of Nick O’Leary, Seantrell Henderson, and Tyrod Taylor. Last week everyone was upset that the Bills moved on from Shady because he ran for 81 yards. This week he was back to his usual 2 yards a carry. Ditto for Sammy. I’m sure if Logan Thomas makes a catch, someone will be like “We never should have gotten rid of Logan Thomas!” ”We should trade for __________” Anytime there is a big name player looking for a trade. Fans immediately want the Bills to make a move - no matter how illogical the trade might be. There were a lot of people who would have been happy to see the Bills trade high draft picks for Jadaveon Clowney who is a 1 year rental. How many people want a trade for Melvin Gordon, again a 1 year rental, who is going to want a phat contract. Not gonna happen. Yet I see a lot of comments for people who want and legitimately think the Bills should trade for Gordon. “You’re not a true fan if you criticize the Bills.” I belong to a Bills Facebook group where many members scolded other for posting previous comments about how bad the Bills were playing. LOL. To some Bills fans any criticism is off base. I don’t agree with that
  13. He resigned with the Bills and was actually released once McDermott took over. I never understood why. He was a pretty good nickel CB, which was ironic since his name was Nickel LOL I’d get it if he didn’t fit in the defense like a Ron Darby, but I think he’d still be a good nickel CB in out defense
  14. Every Buffalo Bills player with the exception of about 4 or 5 players is new to the team since January 2017 when McDermott was hired. My guess is the majority of these incidents tools place before 2015 when this prostitute was punched by the pimp in question. So if the John was actually a Bills player, I doubt that they are still on the team.
  15. It’s so hard to keep track of these threads with multiple topics. I see the original OB tweet but can’t find the Greggo response. Should be 2 threads
  16. No way. Joe B and Matt Fairburn are the best hands down Cant stand this show Erik Turner is fantastic at blocking people who disagree with him
  17. The writer of this article is odd to say the least. He actually was trying to troll the Bills fan base last Sunday. I don’t unfollow many people on Twitter but this clown made the list. It just didn’t seem to make sense
  18. My point is, enough complaining about whether topics deserve their own threads. Who cares? What is this the Buffalo Bills message board? The mods here do a great job. Let them decide
  19. They locked him up way before Free Agency because it was rumored that the Bills had interest
  20. Complaining about new threads? That is so 2005
  21. They won’t because it’s a civil trial. Maybe if there were criminal charges
