NFL.com graded all of the selections from the 2016 NFL Draft including Shaq Lawson. Unfortunately Doug Whaley and company are given one of the lowest grades for Lawson. He ended up with a D+ which is only marginally better than the F scores given to major busts like Paxston Lynch or Corey Coleman. Heres the breakdown on Shaq: Grade: D+ | School: Clemson The Bills drafted Lawson despite concerns over an existing shoulder injury that eventually required offseason surgery and landed him on the PUP list to start the 2016 campaign. In the past two seasons, Lawson has started 16 total games while totaling eight sacks. He has good play strength and handles run duties effectively, but his lack of consistent pressure as a rusher helps make this a below-average pick at No. 19. Reports out of training camp have been encouraging so hopefully Shaq puts together a good season, but he has never really planned out during his first 3 seasons http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001041302/article/2016-nfl-draft-revisited-grades-for-firstrounders-three-years-in

You do that publicly but teams using don’t work bluff reporters that they have good relationships with

Keep in mind that people with ACTUAL sources in Buffalo have turned this rumor down including Timmy Graham and John Wawrow

If those are Allen’s stats in year 2, I think there’s reason for encouragement

No huge names but I’ll throw a few out there: EJ Gaines (injury settlement) Jason Croom Conor McDermott Edward Yarborough * TJ Yeldon makes the cut and Senorise Perry gets das boot

Clowney Trending for some reason.
Phil The Thrill replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A blockbuster trade for Clowney just seem to be consistent with the moves Beane and McDermott would make. I would bet anything he doesn’t get traded to Buffalo. I think that Indy could be an interesting candidate for a trade -
Bills release 2nd unofficial depth chart
Phil The Thrill replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You’re right...remember last year when everyone penciled in Jeremy Kerley, Corey Coleman, Nick O’Leary, and AJ as “locks.” There are always surprises. RB, WR, TE, LB and S are all going to be positions to watch I don’t think they need him but I can see them keeping him because: 1 - He’s a respected, locker room leader everyone seems to love. 2 - He’s a good Special Teamer 3 - Daboll loves to run the ball and DiMarco can not only play FB but also H-back/TE. I can see him getting reps in certain run packages. -

Ross Cockrell - his name seems to come up quite a big when fans argue that Doug Whaley was good in the draft #resumebooster ? -
I enjoy listening to the old and wise Greg Cosell breaking down the Bills with The Murph on One Bills Live. I saw that he was on the show last Friday to evaluate the Bills in the preseason opener so i took a listen. To my surprise he was no high on Ed Oliver’s debut. He said he “struggled” for most of his plays especially when facing double teams. He also said that Eddie needs to develop “perfect technique” in the NFL because he is too small to take on double teams. I watched the game and this was not the impression I came away with. I did see Ed get taken out by Quentin Nelson a few times but he is an All-Pro and one of the best. I was very impressed by his debut, as were many Bills beat writers and it makes me wonder whether Greg really watched all of Ed’s plays of just the few where he was rendered ineffective by Nelson. As for the rest, Greg seemed somewhat reserved. He mentioned some good things but also didn’t seem too impressed. Even Murph was like “I feel pretty good about the Bills.” But Greg did say, it’s important not to take away too much from the preseason - so maybe that’s why. He is high on Daryl Johnson. This he can be a good edge rusher in the NFL. Thinks Josh made some good throws but also missed a few others he should have had. That pass to Zay Jones could have gotten him walloped. Says he needs to work on that. Liked Cody Ford’s debut. Believes that the coaching staff is trying to find the 5 best lineman which is why they are moving him around. Thinks Vosean Joseph moves well but is a little small and thinks he’ll play behind Matt Milano and will have a tough time getting on the field behind him. (Greg actually talked about him and then 5 minutes later Tasker said “what did you think about Vosean Joseph?” forcing Greg to repeat what he said earlier LOL). Said Tyree Jackson struggled big time as well and has a ton of work to do. Puts over Singletary’s hard running, vision and patience but questions whether he can be a “power runner” due to his small size. https://app.radio.com/hiQaUPmN6Y

This was hardly a surprise. What was more of a surprise is that Vlad even made it to training camp. According to Joe B, Juan Castillo was his biggest supporter. Once he was fired Vlad didn’t have anyone to advocate for him, and the poor film from last season didn’t help. All in all, his play was below average to average and sadly given the state of the line play in the NFL he’ll probably find himself in a starting lineup before the end of the season.

Wyatt Teller dominating run block
Phil The Thrill replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Teller might not make the football team. He doesn’t have the position flexibility that the team likes compared to guys like John Feliciano, Spencer Long, or even this Ryan Bates character. The fact that he was a Bills draft pick should buy him at least one more year but he needs to start performing on a consistent basis -
Beer prices last night? $14!

Gold Lion I think....either that or the WGR 550 beer they tried pushing on air all the time LOL -

Maybe but I also think that’s a trend for any NFL, professional sports team, concert or play. Those places make your wallet assume the position and then bend it over the freaking barrel -
I think that radio outlets plug into the Bills mixer and the audio they record comes from the mic on the podium. So I guess the only way to make the reports questions audible would be to place additional boom mics on the wall or to line up reporters and have them ask questions into a second podium mic. I’m sure that’s not practical

They also jack up the prices because.....they can. The stadiums have all the leverage with this type of thing. I also know that the security guard took my good friends expensive designer cigarettes and tins and made him thrown them in a burn barrel. He was so angry
